Sure there are somethings that every business wants that a service doesn't provide, but I'd say overall, Concur gets us 95% of the way to perfect state. It really helps us manage both travel, providers, and approvals in an organized and efficient means. Pros The expense reporting system is very easy to use, and flows nicely. Importing invoices either via app or scans is very simple and easy to use. Concur also allowed us to customize categories of expenses and accounts to put them to. Finally, it has a nice set up for booking travel via all the big outlets (hotel/airfare/rental cars/train). It also has allowed our company to identify preferred providers and push users toward those providers. Cons Reporting isn't great. Trying to get customized reporting for accounting purposes is definitely a struggle. Additionally, if you have less than conventional travel (one way train, where you want to change category during the trip (coach for part of the trip/sleeper for second part)) it's not quite flexible enough to handle those situations. It makes reimbursing employees very easy and keeps track of all expenses. It has helped us trust our employees as well since it is so easy to use and read. Pros Easiest reimbursement and refund platform! All you do is snap a picture, separate out the unallowables and boom! you are good to go. Cons did not have any CONS, the mobile app is amazing to use and the desktop version. I am going to recommend this to my new company. I have to complete the forms numerous times because of error codes that do not adequately explain how to correct the errors. Pros The sign in process is easy. Other than that, I cannot think of anything there is to like about SAP Concur. Cons Cumbersome. Not user friendly. It takes hours to complete a simple report. It’s convenient for capturing receipts and tracking expenses on the go, but the interface could use some polish. Sometimes, syncing and approval processes take longer than expected. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a solid tool, but it could be more user-friendly and reliable. It’s good for what it does, but there's room for improvement. Pros SAP Concur makes expense tracking way easier—everything’s in one place and you can snap receipts on the go. Approvals are faster, and it cuts down on manual entry. I like how it integrates with travel booking too, so trips and expenses stay organized. Helps keep things compliant without much effort. Cons SAP Concur can feel clunky and outdated, especially the interface. It’s not always intuitive, so simple tasks take extra clicks. Mobile app can be glitchy at times. The app makes it even better allowing easier access and not having to open up your laptop or desktop to complete your expenses. Cons When traveling, it doesn't recognize hotel taxes. We had this company with us for about 5 years. It simplified our intake process and launched us into another level. Pros I loved the fact that you can save receipts inside of the application, You can later look for them amongst the saved files and pull what you needed. Cons I didn't like that concor was ver specific with what image files it received and how when you uploaded and used receipts, it wouldn't delete them but you have to manually delete each one. People across the business have reported that it is an excellent software, easy to manipulate. The fact that there is an app makes it much easier to not loose receipts/tax invoices. Very positive across the whole business. Pros The ease of use, the fact that people can use it on the mobile phone, the fact that there is an app on Appstore and Android store for it! Cons The cost is maybe high but I guess you pay for good quality software! Pros It is very easy to use in payment processing and process automation, especially for internal bill, such as business travel expense. Cons Some steps are not very intuitive. For example, when you create a request before the business travel and get approval, you need to append some invoice in the detail when you apply for the expense reimbursement, but some expense can be daily fixed, the form will not direct you about it. " January 9, 2026 5.0 I fully recommend this product for company's that travel often. The price was very reasonable considering how much we used their services and how helpful they were. Pros As an executive assistant for 6 professionals that traveled to client sites often, SAP Concur was a lifesaver for travel booking. It was so easy to track the expenses for each individual, change flights, and even receive some last customer service when unexpected weather emergencies happened. Customer service was always helpful, answered my emails or calls right away, and helped my team get the best flights available. The configuration of my company's travel rules helped me always stay within budget, manage an entire team, and use their individual corporate cards. Cons Honestly, I had no complaints. All hotel/flight/car inquiries I had were always solved even when we ran into hurricanes, itinerary changes, and situations completely out of SAP Concur's control. Review Source BS Brett S. One of my favorite work software options. I'll be happy to use it for a long time to come. It delivers all of our business needs. Pros Concur is a great asset to our company. It helps our AP team keep oriented and focused. All levels of management generally seem to find it easy to use. Uploading and classifying receipts is super easy for all of us. Payment processing is very automated now. We will continue with Concur long into the future, as well as other SAP products. Cons It can take a few days for receipts to hit your Concur account. I enjoy using SAP Concur and appreciate the lengths that it goes through for security and SSO. I don't dread my expense reports, and that is a very good sign. Pros I like how quick it is to submit receipts both digital and physical into the system. I enjoy the pre-populated items and navigation system that makes submitting reports a breeze. I like the history and internal notes so that if I miss label something I can see what my supervisor would like for me to fix. I also enjoy how simple it is to see exactly what is missing on my reports because everything is clearly marked. Cons I have found it difficult to process duplicate or reimbursed charges on reports under Concur. Prior to switching to this system, my company used manual processes. SAP Concur has allowed for much time savings as opposed to how I previously had to manage these tasks individually on my own. Pros What I like most about SAP Concur is the ability to book both travel arrangements (hotel, airfare, rental vehicles), and manage my travel expenses with my linked company credit card. The software is very easy to navigate and is intuitive to use! Cons Previously, SAP Concur had gone through multiple interface updates over the course of a few short years. This took a little while to get used to. However, the interface has not changed for the past year or so, and I am now very familiar with the layout and am quite comfortable using it.
