### "Easy tool for expense requests"

In one of my last companies, I was travelling very much and I used this tool weekly basis. That's why I saw almost all conditions and used all options on the expense creation page. Also in my current company, we use this tool actively.

Pros

When claiming your expenses, you can classify them easily based on preconfigured options. Under the main option, there can be a lot of sub-options. Also inserting the invoices is so easy especially from the mobile application. In addition, if you need to claim payments due each day, your management can define a template and when you enter the start and end dates, without filling one by one, the related expense item is added automatically. Also, as far as I know, the approval flow is easily configurable and its workflow is strong.

Cons

If you need to add more than one image for your invoices, it combines them in a pdf or big image (I guess it is up to your on-premise installation). So if you need to add or remove an invoice, occasionally it causes mismatching with your documents. I mean it cannot delete the old one or add the new one properly. I think instead of combining all these docs, there should be an option to store them separately.

Awesome! Not just the application, the whole company culture itself!

Pros

The ease! Taking a photo of a receipt instead of having to scan it is very convenient. We still give our physical receipts but it is consolidated as a monthly submission, so makes the reimbursement process faster!

Cons

I sometimes confuse report types with each other, but I think this is more of just familiarizing yourself with the system.

Overall its a very solid system although not really budget friendly.

Pros

Easy to use, easy to upload receipts and choose the type of expense. Also easy to get approval and see where the expense report is in the system

Cons

Allocation of expenses to a specific unit or business area is much more cumbersome than I would like to see. There are lots of steps to that, and it's not all that intuitive, so I've had employees miss the allocation entirely

SAP Concur me ha gustado porque te permite gestionar los gastos de manera sencilla. Ha mejorado mucho con la última actualización en el ordenador.

Cons

Echo en falta una mejora en la aplicación movil. Al final siempre introduzco los gastos desde el movil y me resulta bastante más complejo. No todos los flags del ordenador salen en el movil por lo que siempre tengo que recurrir al ordenador.

The overall experience of SAP Concur is good. Tool implementation allow the company to simplify the travel management activties. Before his implementation this functionalities require the work of a travel office of 5 people to manage all the booking forms. Thank to SAP Concur most of these activities are managed directly by the employee. Finally the native integration with SAP ERP system, grant the possibility to send the data in realt time to Finance/Controlling office.

Pros

The best feature provided by SAP Concur is the possibility for each employee to autonomously book a travel, speeding up and reducing the effort of company travel manager. Each employee is able to easily identify flights routes and room bookings in the proper way

Very satisfied. It eases up the work.

Pros

Mobile friendly. Does the job well. Ease a lot of paperwork. User friendly and great GUI.

Cons

Does not always works good for delegated persons. For example, assistant doing this job for bosses takes a little longer and quite some steps more needs to be done in order to achieve the proper result. Some problems in smaller countries like Slovenia. A plane ticket or hotel can not be bought, but can be in most other countries. This however can be deploy specific problem, not a product problem.

I have been using this for more then 2 years it helps me to submit & track my claim and helps to maintain the expense report

Pros

SAP Concur is user friendly and remotely claim our expenses easily. It helps to track the claim status easily and we get a communication regarding the approval & if it is rejected it has an option to resubmit claim with valid document according to the Manager remarks. It helps to maintain & manage the claim & its report.

Cons

Live chats needs to be integrate with this will be helpful. It has the bug like not getting notification on time, so it takes longer time to resubmitting the claim

Great experience. I will continue to use it and recommend it for all small to very large organizations, based on what the budget is. Almost no training required.

Pros

Very easy to use and navigate. Customer service is also very prompt. I love how if i have recurring expenses on a monthly basis, a lot of my information is already in the drop-down waiting to be used. I don’t have to fully search for it.

Cons

Some navigation tools are not as o bisou, and it would be great to have more ready to use guides available for people who do not use it as much.

### "Average Expense System"

Overall, I rate my experience as average. Although it was far more expeditious than the previous expense software that I have used, I still view it as an average expensing program. Please keep in mind, I was only a user not and administrator or implementer so I have no context as to the sophistication on the backend. From a user's standpoint I think it provides the essential services/functions that you need from an expense software.

Pros

Concur offers an application that is pretty straight forward and easy to use. I think the most convenient feature is the receipt databasing piece. I can take a photo of my receipt code and file it right away. The previous software that I used required a user to wait for the final charge to appear on your corporate expense account (credit card) and then it would allow you to code and submit the expense. As a result, you would need to hang on to a receipt (s), sometimes for a few days and then code and submit it. However with Concur's photo receipt function you can take a picture and toss that receipt right away.

Cons

I struggled with the travel booking functionality. Although the concept, to have travel and expenses in one place, is excellent I believe it came with a cost. We had the functional ability to book travel via the app but still used outside sources because we seemed to get better rates and I believe the app did not always show all available options. To be fair, some of that might have been mitigated by our own internal processes in which we inhibited our ability to optimize this feature, more so than the functionality itself not existing.

Pros

Concur is an easy to use product that allows me to quickly submit my expense reports each week and approve those for my direct reports

Cons

A couple of the fields are kind of redundant but in general I think it is a fantastic product. I dont have any big complaints.

After implementing in 2014, I've had great experiences with Concur. The data entry, expense management, reporting, and user-feel has been fantastic.

Pros

The tool is so functional and simple to use. As an administrator of our expense solution I generally will tell our end users that if you think it can do something, it probably can! While the trick is figuring out the 'how', I tend to feel as though it is one of the most user-friendly systems available. Especially in the EMS world!

Cons

I honestly don't have much to knock about Concur Expense. Granted the 3rd party audit service is a bit of a burden at times, it seems that they have significant and regular turnover, that counts as an add-on in my opinion and shouldn't be held against the tool in general.

Overall, I am fine with the product. I do not travel a lot so I tolerate the time it takes to get the booking done and reporting expenses is not hard. As an Admin, setting up new users can be complicated and cannot do it without notes but I think this is my Company's requirements maybe more so than SAP Concur.

Pros

Getting expenses reimbursed is easy and practical

Cons

Online Booking. Pick flights and then go to book and another screen comes up with alternative flights instead of the one chosen. Takes way too long to do online booking.

Overall, the experience with SAP Concur is good, and I find it a useful and easy to use expense management tool.

Pros

With SAP Concur I can create accurate, detailed expense reports, automate expense management processes, and have visibility anytime and anywhere. I can submit and approve expense reports from anywhere via the mobile app.

Cons

The AI technology, incorporated in the platform can be challenging. When taking a picture and uploading the receipt information, Concur doesn't always correctly capture the information which can lengthen the process.

### "refused to cancel after failing to deliver working product"

The concur setup person wasted weeks of corporate assets and CPA time attempting to set up. Getting a working setup failed. We begged for help and a better setup representative, no response. After giving up and needing to move on because we had wasted corporate resources to get the portal working with the app., we found that having the corporate CPA match transactions directly from corporate bank accounts was faster than the failed concur system. We notified Concur many times via phone calls and emails that we wished to cancel because we never got a working product. They continued to send collection notices no matter how many times we notified them that we never received a working product. Now they are suing the corporation for the year they decided to keep billing us after we canceled. We, of course, are planning on vigorously countersuing. Thankfully the corporate policy retains all phone call recordings and emails in our retention vault. So the jury will get to sit through hours of corporate employees begging for help and sending notices to cancel after failure to launch.

Pros

we liked NOTHING. they actually only added extra work for our corporate CPA, they were supposed to make it easier. ha! #FAIL

Cons

they treated us like we simply did not matter. horrible support.

The software gives the company the ability to have electronic expense reports and receipts. This is a huge benefit.

Pros

I like the electronic approvals and electronic payments to employees. The software does a great job of keeping an audit history. It also has great reporting functions that give me insight on how my company is spending money.

Cons

Concur has improved very little in the 5 years I have been using it. There are many great suggestions on its support page that never get implemented. Concur does not send notification emails to accounting when reports are ready to be processed. Users are forced to check the site multiple times a day to see if there is an expense report ready for payment. A huge drawback.

### "Great beginning but sadly not a product that worked for our company"

Pros

Mobile receipt upload. Cost Center Coding was good. This looked to be a nice product until we experienced issues.

Cons

After using the product for 2-3 months we experienced an issue where transactions from CapitalOne Spark cards did not come in for 4 days. In those 4 days was about 50 to 100 transactions. We sent technical support our posted transactions for the time period since the statement did not close at the time yet. It took about another 5 business days to start seeing some of the missing transactions come in. Well that at point they duplicated and caused more issues for our accounting team. We decided to shut the product down as it was too much of a mess and we just started putting users on it. This is the only company recommended by CapitalOne for Expense Reporting and this was a very bad experience. I think they have a lot to work on to make this integration work with CapitalOne to allow us to come back.
