April 14, 2022 5.0 Pros Once you figure out how to navigate Concur doing your expenses can be easy. Adding receipts and recipients is easy. Cons Learning how to get through your expenses can be challenging at first. I don't like how searching for flights has to be selected with a hour amount in and out. Pros Concur has a LOT of features to customize. It's truly made for larger business and functions as such. For smaller ones, or those (like us), who need specific things, and wish to make life easier, it isn't so good. Cons Customer service is a bit trying. They're definitely available, just not very helpful. A lot of times, we're needing something, and just can't get it. Reports in chronological order, for example. No? They're displayed in order of entry. Makes no sense. December 9, 2019 4.0 Overall I'm satisfied with SAP Concur and enjoy how once learned, it is easy to use. Pros I like how easy SAP Concur is to use. You can link the credit card of choice to the account and not worry about keeping the receipts (unless your company policy states so). It will keep track of all of your purchases and you can create separate folders for the type of expense. The best feature is creating expense reports with ease. Cons There is definitely a steep learning curve if you want to do more then just upload your travel expenses. If you want to book travel, track mileage and customize the expense reports, you have to dig deeper into the tool. From time-to-time, there is also an issue with uploading the receipts and it might take longer to upload the given picture. Review Source MM Matthew M. One of the features that stands out is the expense auto-matching. Apart from the web client it also has a mobile app, supporting IOS and Android. Depending on the size of the report, and the number of expenses, some tasks times time, for instance allocating expenses. Pros It has a web version, but it also offers mobile (IOS and Android). It has lots of features, like single sign-on (SSO), expense auto-match, integration with 3PP and much more. Cons Depending on the size of the report, tasks may take lots of time to complete, for instance allocating expenses. SSO sometimes does not work, and you have to reload the page. It takes all of the fun out of booking travel. Pros On a scale of 1-5, I'd say Concur gets a 4 for ease of use. It's certainly not the worst booking software I've used, but it's not the best either. I do like that this makes booking via company cards really simple, plus the approval process for employee travel is straight forward as well. Cons I would love if this would integrate some way with the various airline apps - looking up all of my confirmation numbers and adding them can get old. I was never given any training or information on how to use this software, but I was able to figure everything out on my own without much friction. Some features like the built-in mileage calculator are nice, as not every expense software has these. Cons This software does not load very fast. I don't like spending a lot of time on administrative work like expense reports, so the load times are annoying when I am in a rush. Also, occasionally (but not that often) a report will be flagged with an error, even though no error is apparent. Pros What I love most about concur is the possibility to charge the expenses and associate them to each invoice, the possibility of being able to place them by currency. Also, the invoices can be broken down among the diners. Cons The fact that invoices are only accepted for uploading in PDF format. Pros Concur is a very easy to use tool to track your company expenses. The drag and drop receipt feature removes the frustration of dealing with multiple receipts after a tiresome business trip. Cons While the button are easy to use and understand, to me, it doesn't make sense to have the Start a report and Upload receipts buttons essentially accomplish the same thing. Perhaps they could use that property to add a different functionality like View your dashboard or home button. Individual employees can each add in their expenses, making it easier for the consent as a whole to keep track of everything. It takes a while to get used to, but does a good job of keeping everything organized in a way that's easy to manage. Pros Concur is a pretty good product for keeping up with expense reports. It's fairly intuitive, and not too difficult to use once you start getting it figured out. It has everything I need to keep up with day to day expenses. They have a pretty good technical support team as well. Cons It wasn't easy to integrate. We had some issues in the beginning in trying to get accounts set up for thur people submitting expenses, but the technical support team was fast to get things fixed for us. Once we got the hang of it, we had fewer issues. It isn't incredibly user friendly, though. Review Source Abhishek A. Pros The system isn't glitchy or buggy, and sync's data well across our teams. I haven't encountered issues with anything in the application itself which is a pretty big deal when you're dealing with accounting and finance. Cons It's not user friendly. For roles that won't use it everyday as part of their core responsibilities, it can be confusing or easy to make errors without realizing it. You need to robust business processes and internal support in place to keep it working effectively. That being said, it still gets the job done. Pros I like that I'm able to take a picture of my receipt in the mobile app and able to add it to my expense report right away. The form is easy to use and understand. I haven't had any issues submitting reports. The application is intuitive and easy-to-use which makes submitting expense claims a user-friendly experience. Cons The only negative aspect is the uploading of receipts and attaching them to Expense Claims - this can be clunky at times and does not always upload when expected.
