Cons At least in the capacity that I use it for my company - I find that at times coding each expense can be difficult as there isn't room for a lot of explanation for the choice options. Cons The mobile app in conjunction with an Authenticator has caused problems. I was prompted with a QR code to scan in the app to set up the authentication so I would need another device to scan the code. Luckily I have an IPad however the option of copying the QR code as text for manual entry was no functional so I imagine some users are stumped. Review Source ES Erin S. Even if it was not perfect all of the time, I can say it is effective. Pros This system allows us to keep track of all the expenses we have as well as keep track of the working hours in each activity and determine the amount invested in each. We can avoid mistakes by warnings of duplicate payments. Cons The only problem I have encountered is that as long as the expense report is submitted, if it is not approved within a certain period of time, it will be credited back to the account until you get to ping it. Cons When there are errors in the expense report, you aren't allowed to submit with errors. Sometimes this is okay, but there should be a way to submit regardless of errors. Creating an expanse is very easy and one-off f best you can use this on your mobile so you can claim it any time and tracking is very easy. Pros One of the beautiful feature is you pay from your bussiness card and you can claim that expanse directly. I've used plenty of booking/expense tools in the past and they are usually pretty standard, but I think Concur looks a little nicer which can be a welcome change in the world of boring, travel management tools. It makes reimbursements really easy. Pros I have used Concur for almost 2 years now. I have had a great experience with it. My favorite feature is the ability to take a picture of your receipt and have it automatically populate in the software. It saves a lot of time. Cons The software is fairly simple. When submitting your expense report, there are a few required fields that it makes you fill out. Most of the times, these fields dont matter to me so it is a little frustrating. " November 9, 2016 3.0 Concur allows for some solid group buying across air, hotel, and travel options. Expenses can be easily paid for on a central corporate card or or individualized cards in the field. All expenses are easily transferred into a central accounting system for payments. The online AP and mobile AP are a little clunky at times, but function well enough. It also makes others accountable for following up, and helps you track when expenses are due. You can also tailor it to your own business requirements which is helpful. Pros This software allows you to pass along expense reports quickly and efficiently. You no longer have to send emails back and forth, or wonder where your expense report is. You can see who has the report and whether it has been approved or not. Taking pictures of the receipt is super easy and allows you to attach them to the expense. Cons If you do not use the app and chose to attach receipts by scanning and saving the file, it is a fairly lengthy process. You can batch attach receipts though that make it easier. The other annoying thing about it is more of a user issue. If you do not know how to include all expenses in one report, each report has to be signed off on individually. Review Source Arun M. I like vendors can enter their own request into concur and we can approve them electronically. Cons I wish concur had the ability to acknowledge if a invoice is eligible to be taxable income or not. We have security officers send their invoices through concur and that would be helpful. At this point, I don't even bother to report my expenses on my own, I call and the customer support walks me through it. Cons Hard to work the app. Uploading receipts is tricky and there are features like not being able to zoom in, can't add to existing reports. I have access to other people's accounts and it is no trouble at all getting into their profile to review, edit, and update their expense reports. Pros It is convenient to have expenses and travel all located in one place. Even if I do not book a hotel or plane, using the credit card linked to the account makes it easy to be flexible in terms of how I book my travel. Submitting receipts and figuring out what is missing from my expense report is easy to figure out based on how the system is laid out. Cons Figuring out how to use the system for the first time was actually a little difficult. The way it is laid out and the look of the website make it hard at first to get around and figure out where to go. After a few uses, you get the hang of it and it is simple to use, it was just starting out initially. I wish the look of it was more appealing and professional, it looks as though it was designed years ago.
