My overall experience with has been satisfactory. It has allowed me to manage my business expenses on official trips and conferences digitally without needing physical resources like pen and paper. I would recommend implementing this software for medium to large businesses who have executives traveling frequently. But not for smaller businesses where there is less travel related expenses because ROI would be low. As long as there is accounting background and frequent expense reporting, its worth investing in SAP Concur.

Pros

I use to track travel and business trip expenses. So, my partner and I can manage our budget accordingly. My favorite feature about SAP Concur is its ability to capture hotel or gas bills as an image and attach it to a specific project. I also like its ability to integrate with airlines and hotels booking, so I don't have to go to those reservation sites separately. My accountant finds it easy to work with SAP Concur reports when e-filing my year end taxes. So, overall a great financial analysis and expense reporting tool.

Cons

doesn't work that well with Google suite or Chrome browser. Because it is optimized to work best with Microsoft Internet Explorer browser and office products. Password reset and error tracking is not that efficient. Uploading images of receipts for expense reporting is complex to understand for a new user. Customizing the software to meet specific accounting practices for a specific business takes some extra effort. Experience in accounting and erp software use is a must to maximize potential of SAP Concur.

If you need to setup up a Company employee expense tool quickly, Concur is the way to go. It's easy to set up and it comes with an app and website for creating expense reports.

Pros

Concur is easy to set up and integrate with Quickbooks. You are able to create the expense accounts that you want the user to see and then link them to the appropriate GL account in the backend.

Cons

We haven't found anything not to like with concur yet. I've used concur at my last 3 startups and all the employees enjoy the ease of using it.

Using Concur expense management allows my supervisor to see clearly when I am submitting my expenses and what accounts they are being charged against. It is easy to resubmit any information if needed (I don't have to start all over).

Pros

I like that my charges come in directly to the system from my company credit card and I don't have to enter them manually. It saves a ton of time. I also like the app.

Cons

It is sometimes hard to figure out what receipts have been attached to the expenses, I wish that was a little more streamlined. Sometimes there is a delay in the charges posting from my card, so I have to wait until they come through to submit.

Concur is a great product to input your expenses in an easy to use way. You are able to put your expenses in different categories which helps organize all your expenses in one place.

Pros

Concur give you a lot of options for expense reporting. It is easy to learn and to use. It also gives you areas to input comments for each expense.

Cons

Concur gives a lot of areas to put in information. It makes it a little too complicated with so many options.

Expense reporting and approval is streamlined and efficient; however, customer support team is less knowledgeable than I would like.

Pros

The interface is easy to use and intuitive. There is flexibility that is quite helpful in the Concur Pro version;

Cons

It was only by chance we stumbled upon the Pro version and its capabilities; despite our specific needs spelled out in the implementation process, it was never mentioned that this version could satisfy our requirements.

I'd rather use almost anything else. I need this type of application to be simple and user friendly and fast. I don't want my people spending hours of their week importing and reconciling expenses.

Pros

Integration with booking of travel is a nice convenience however, it rarely matched up well with imported credit card charges for expense reporting.

Cons

I would have to spend hours completing my expense reports...Trying to match up expenses to credit card charges for the amount of traveling I did was such a huge pain. Auto scanning of receipts rarely worked...

Pros

The ability to upload photos of receipts and import into expense reports is great...when it works. The ease of filling reports is high on a computer but low on a phone.

Cons

The receipt photo software can be glitchy..unable to read amounts and transfers random dates into expense reports--you need to ensure you manually correct items if necessary. Some features could be more user friendly.

Concur was a very frustrating experience when it cmae down to reporting my expenses after conferences and sometimes did not go through properly and at times would have to start back over, waitng extra pay periods to get my money refunded on my pay checks.

Pros

This product seems very innovative and futuristice looking with its platform.

Cons

This sofware was very complicated to use. It took me a while to figure out how to properly expense reports. It was confusing with the options that it had.

Pros

This platform is very useful when it comes to the preparation of expense reports as it allows charges made to a company credit card to auto-load onto the platform. In addition, it allows for approval routings which is a plus.

Cons

It sometimes gets tricky when it comes to categorizing specific expenses, so this process could be improved upon to make more clear.

Pros

I used this application for tracking expenses in my company for reimbursement. The application makes it easier to grab pictures of receipts and extract the amount from the bill. Also, it has the option to view all the uploaded receipts and also edit them.

Cons

The application is sometimes slow. Also, the application logs out after some time. Maybe that might be due to security reasons though.

Pros

I like being able to take pictures of receipts and have Concur automatically fill in the fields (though it doesn't always do it perfectly and I need to spot-check it). It makes it very easy to submit expense reports. We use Concur across my whole organization.

Cons

It's automatic filling feature (from taking a picture of receipts) doesn't always do it perfectly, including getting the dollar amount or expense type wrong sometimes.

Pros

When traveling for business, you can book all elements required for your trip in one place. After booking a flight, you even have an option to arrange your car travel to your hotel or other destination in addition to hotel.

Cons

The main con of this software is that the mobile app is not as easy to use as some other expense business apps I've used. If you're traveling for work and you're trying to expense as you go to avoid spending hours expensing every detail of a trip once it's over, you cannot do so on mobile. Desktop is the way to go for this software in a very mobile world.

Pros

I think that the software as a whole has a real "ease-of-use" and can be effectively utilized to complete necessary expense reports. I like the portable design of the app that allows me to file reports on the go.

Cons

The thing that is least pleasant is just some of the inconsistency in performance. Occasionally the system will falter and not be available.

Cons

It's not very intuitive and difficult to navigate. Booking flights is especially frustrating. Oftentimes I find myself having to start over completely if I don't find the right flight the first time

I have never contacted the company directly, only put through feedback to our Iconic management.

Pros

I dont like it at all, I feel it is so old school and makes it really hard to put in a claim. Its easier to do on your mobile rather that the desktop.

Cons

How many times you have to go back and submit something as it never asked you in the initial part however has to be completed for you to be able to submit a claim.
