Pros I liked how this is part of SAP and the User Interface is very familiar and has many functionalities. It's for the most part very intuitive so you can create and submit expenses with ease. We also use the AMEX GBT integration so it makes booking travel a breeze Cons I've used other SAP products and they all seem to have the same problem, terrible customer service. It is much faster and easy to manage vs. the previous softwares my company used to have. Executive Assistant Entertainment Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "better than expensing by hand, but still too many flaws" October 24, 2018 3.0 Pros The review process was so much better on Concur than it was, submitting receipts and excel documents by hand... especially since at my company, expenses needed to be signed off by multiple people. That was a lot of running around, making sure documents went from one person to the next in a timely fashion. Before Concur there was also a lot of paper waste! Cons The biggest issue was how receipts uploaded to expense reports. Taking photos of the receipts on the app was better than scanning receipts, but receipts didn't always attach to a report properly... and sometimes, when I did add receipts to reports from the desktop site, they would duplicate and remain in concur. The biggest issue was not being notified that a receipt had been used in a previous expense report; because photos would reload at the bottom even after I used them, it became very confusing to tell which receipts I had already attached to expense reports and which ones were new. Pros I like that it has an app that makes it easy to upload receipts. Its good for field staff who dont have computer access all the time. Cons It sometimes duplicates transactions. Cons Dieses Programm ist das Gegenteil von Intuitiv. Wenn Du beim -Abrechnung absenden- einen Fehler in der Zeile hast, lässt er dich nicht weiter aber sagt dir auch nicht wie du dieses Problem behebst oder WO der Fehler zu finden ist. Sehr frustrierend. Wenn ich bei einem Anmeldeformular im Internet etwas nicht ausgefüllt habe, macht mich das Programm sofort darauf aufmerksam. Wieso schafft es SAP Concur nicht?? Wenn man keinen Support bekommt, sucht man stundenlang oder muss warten bis einem geholfen wird. Ansonsten kannst Du deine Abrechnung einfach nicht abschicken, weil das Programm es nicht zulässt. It allows you to take photos of receipts and will automatically fill in a lot of the required information. It prompts you through several easy steps which can have you submitting your expense report in under 2 minutes. Cons I can't think of any cons to using this software. It's extremely easy to use. Cons Unfortunately the process to submit an expense or book a flight is very convoluted, and it's easy for you to lose track of where you are in the process. Pros All the features are easy to use, all the fields are self explanatory and it keeps track of all the expenses in one area. Cons As a new system it took a bit to get used to it, but once it is navigated it becomes very easy to mange through. Concur gets the job done but isn't nearly as easy for getting expenses done as others I've used. Pros Honestly not much. It gets the job done but it's clunky and not that user friendly. Cons There were a lot of steps to get done what I needed on the expense. I would prefer it to be simplified and easier to replicate instead of having to go through identical tedious steps over and over again. Helped out a lot at end of year for accounting purposes. Pros Simple, intuitive program. Lets you upload receipts and other files, which is nice. Keeps track of travel docs and other expenses to help manage each individual's business expenses on one screen. Works on phone app so uploading stuff on the go is great and convenient. Cons The phone app doesn't have as much capabilities as the application on your computer. You're generally limited to reading data as opposed to writing on the phone app but you probably won't be trying to do anything intricate via the phone app anyways.
