Pros The ability to book travel directly through the software and then have it automatically generate receipts to streamline the expense process is the best part of this software. Cons It does not show the prices automatically when you search for round trip flights. You have to search each leg individually in case you want to price things out using multiple airlines. There is one place to book travel and every user has the same experience. Pros I like that you can book all your modes of travel in one place (plane, car, hotel) and that you can set rules to auto accept or deny requests. I like that you can compare prices and input information that makes booking easier for the future (such as frequent traveler club numbers). Having the ability to import images of receipts is also extremely handy. Cons I don't have a lot of cons to list... maybe that sometimes it is a little tedious to input all the images and match them to a line item but I cannot think of a better way to do it since the software has no knowledge of what is what. Cons No chat window Not user friendly Too many tabs equal too much time, it should not take an hour to book a simple travel assignment. I could book one thru jet blue in 5 minutes, even taking into fact this is a business program and different funding options are required, this is not a good system. Would absolutely recommend to businesses of all sizes. Pros Extremely easy to implement company-wide for expense reporting. We have a complicated business structure and expense system, and concur makes it easy for all data to be in one place. It's app is also a great plus with our technology savvy employees. It can handle a simple one day trip or hold an very large complex expense report. Pros You can itemize expenses or leave at vague as you like. Attachments are simple and quick. It does the calculations for you when you have multiple days spent in a hotel for a trip. I really enjoy that previous submitted forms are saved to quick reference. Pros I like the ease of the program. I use the personal mileage weekly, and it is very nice to have the Concur map integrated into the system. Cons I have no cons for this. I enjoy this system and have found no reason to think otherwise. I really have no complaints thus far. Reason for choosing SAP Concur Price point and ease of use. Cons Sometimes when I book a hotel or flight through the system, I find it impossible to locate that travel receipt and move it to the correct expense report. The system will automatically create new reports for expenses that are imported if you don't turn that function off. For someone who travels and submits reports frequently, I prefer to sort expenses into reports myself rather than lump them in "June Expenses," and I have to work against what Concur automates sometimes. It is pretty easy to create expenses and then attach receipts. Cons Creation of trips versus requests versus reports is confusing. You have to request a trip before you can attach expenses by it. But most of the time people travelling don't need requests approved. Also the trip calculator should have a 'reverse' button or the like, to eliminate having to put the same thing in twice. It could be a bit more user friendly, but it’s functional and covers most expenses mileage, lodging, flight etc. Cons It could be a bit more user friendly and aesthetically more visual and pleasing to the user. My organization has a lot of people who use Concur, doing different functions (entering payables, approving expenses, sending payments, etc.). When we get new staff, it is easy to train them to use this software. Cons I only review/approve expenses, so don't know all the features of the software. Cons When entering a line item expense the date of transaction auto-populates to the day the report is being entered. A joy to use in the office and on the road. Pros It works well enough to be used for T&E expensing by employees who only do it once and awhile. If you have other SAP products the integration / same platform is helpful. It has these inbuilt pages where you have to go through its own meaningless work flow to get anything approved and it just keeps sending emails to your supervisor over a request, this is a simple functionality that can be written better and make it user friendly.
