It also stream lines the approval process. Overall very smooth. Cons On top of cost of the software it costs more to book travel than booking directly with the company. Not much ($1-3 per night for hotels) but its annoying. Not the perfect experience for all, but end of the day not many enjoy filling in expenses...and Concur does not help to make it any easier. Pros Most of us in the business world at some point have to deal with expense reports. The Concur used to be a really cool and fresh application. It does try to cover various seriousness for different type of customers and it does that quite well. Cons Since been acquired by SAP the quality is not quite the same. Pros Created a great all-in-one platform for accounts payable collaboration, review and approvals between various departments and employees, with increased visibility and easier tracking Cons The invoice recognition auto-fill features are really poor. SAP Concur should work with companies to make more intuitive. Pros I like that my company can use it to submit expenses. I enjoy getting reimbursed for each of the expenses. Cons It constantly comes back with errors. It is not so much the software as the audit triggers that are in place. I have had previous employers use it as well. Review Source FC Forest C. I find the software very cumbersome and inefficient, and many of my coworkers agree. Pros I think the "print reports" for expenses are helpful for tying out totals with a credit card statement. Cons The interface is okay but it takes too many clicks and too much refreshing to input even single expenses. Expense grouping and favoriting functions exist, but could easily be improved. Cons It can be a little hard to figure out how to use everything. In the department I work at, there is an administrative assistant who helps with everything related to Concur. Each time I have a question about an expense report, he says that it is so confusing to figure out that it would be easier for him to handle on his own rather than teaching me. The first time I created a travel request, I had to have an hour 1-on-1 tutorial with the administrative assistant just for them to show me how to fill everything out. It would also be nice if the help icons in SAP concur showed more useful information. When I am filling things out, sometimes hovering over the help icons does nothing to answer my question about what needs to go in that field. Review Source PA PHANEENDRA A. Every expense need to be manually filled and repeated for similar expenses. The attachments support per expense is neat. Cons Concur expenses missing easy to use features like exporting expenses from spread sheet. I think this system is very easy to use and straight forward. It can be very helpful in making sure all expenses are accounted for and appropriately categorized. Pros It automatically populates any expenses that are charged to a linked credit card and allows you to categorize them easily. You can easily add expenses from personal credit cards, and uploading imagines is fast and easy as well. Travel agencies and companies that are linked with the software will have their charges auto-populate as well. Cons Sometimes it takes a while for expenses to import (a few more days than I would expect). Apparently they charge more depending on how often you submit reports, so that is a drawback. The software is easy to use and we love that you can add delegates to your account so they can assist with reports. Pros Love the options you have to get your receipts to your Concur account. Email, app, upload. It is so easy to create expense reports and attach the receipts and submit them to accounting. I love that it calculates all the exchange rates for you, saves a lot of time. I love that I do not need to spend hours filling out reports, and everything can be done through the mobile app. As soon as I have a receipt I just take a picture of it and upload the image along with reasoning for the expense. It is a simplistic app and therefore I don't get lost in all of the features. I would highly recommend it. I know this software can also be used to book travel, but I have not used it for that application yet. Pros The mobile app is so easy and quick to use. IT Support Engineer Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Expensing made easy with Concur" December 14, 2021 5.0 I would definitely recommend this app, I am extremely satisfied both with using it on a desktop or the mobile app, with the desktop app copying reports is the main pro, with mobile app it's how you get notified with status on your expense report and how easily it integrates with apps like uber etc. Pros What I love most is the ability to copy from an existing/past expense report and make minor edits such as the name and cost and have everything else you need the same rather than having to create the expense month after month (depending on the frequency you need to file your expense reports), I also love how the mobile app has a way of automatically calculating mileage by putting in your trip as easy as using the GPS/maps. Cons Authentication on the mobile app can get tricky depending on the authentication method, it should be able to use face-ID or bio-metrics. Review Source JB Julie B. I like it's ability to move expenses to various reports. Cons Travel portion is very outdated. Limitations for my corporate concur. Can only book self cannot book more than one person. Searching for flights is slow and is limited. If you want to know best fare by airport be prepared to search many scenarios many times.
