### "Accounting perspective on Concur"

Concur is directly integrated with our ERP system and posts the travel expenses in a more automated manner. It provides many options on viewing the expenses and allows you to download reports into excel.

Pros

The ability to have admin rights to view all employee expense reports in the company is very beneficial from an accounting perspective. I'm easily able to search by employee name, report name, submit date, etc.

Cons

A helpful feature would be the ability to see what general ledger account each concur expense type is mapped to. Currently we have to reach out to our IT department in order to find out this information. This would also help department managers identify if expenses are getting booked to the correct accounts which would better help them track their actual spend versus the budget.

### "Super easy to use expense tool!"

Pros

Love how it easy it was to submit expense reports with this software, especially if you download the app! Also love that I could take picture of expense receipts on the go and have them stored and ready when I needed them for the expense report. Lastly I love that the funds were directly deposited vs. getting a check.

Cons

Really nothing comes to mind in terms of what could be improved. Categories of expenses could have been greater but those were set by our administrator so really not a fault against the software.

I use this to enter expenses and submit reports made on behalf of my business. I have used it for travel expenses and catering but will also need to use it for conference fees and professional certifications in the future. It is often difficult to navigate and the automated communication is confusing.

Pros

I can easily upload receipts and add existing expenses to reports to submit for approval. There are also plenty of spaces to enter comments about expenses and reports.

Cons

Many of the buttons and icons are unclear to me. Also, many of the dropdown menus have nonsensical options (such as "NA" repeated many times). I always have trouble knowing how to use it and must ask for help. Finally, I get too many emails after submitting a report telling me that the status has changed.

Overall Concur has saved a lot of my time. It is much better than sending my receipts and fill out forms to get reimbursements.

Pros

I started using SAP Concur almost 2 years ago, since our university has moved to this new system to manage the group expenses. Everything in concur are very easy to understand. It's easy to upload receipts and attach them to a expense report.

Cons

Some icons in Concur are too small to notice. After attaching a document to the expense it sometimes become hard to see if I have really attached the receipt at a later time.

Cons

As the administrator, it's sometimes difficult to get certain features and reports customized without support. Reporting could be more streamlined

It’s good ,but sometimes so slow and get into issues and errors a.and workflows goes for toss. May be because we have a lot of integrated software.

Pros

Concur integrates with several platforms including QuickBooks and ADP. It effectively manages employee credit card spending and users can create out of pocket reports easily. Concur distinguishes the difference between reports, and automatically batches them accordingly, so if your payment methods or timelines are different you can easily seperate. The app generally works well and is handy for uploading receipt images.

Cons

Occasionally glitchy - will throw up error codes for no reason, sometimes does not load images when needed. Integrating your chart of accounts is time consuming.

Why are we still using this kind of software? I wish there was a better alternative that my company would utilize.

Pros

It allowed me to charge expenses and copy from a previous expense report. Also allows me to split costs between order numbers.

Cons

This user interface and response time reminds me of dial up days. It is so clunky looking and slow. I hate to use it but it is all we have.

Makes life easier for a mundane task.

Pros

Easy to use and its Mobile Capabilities are excellent. I hate Expense reports, but if there were ever a tool that makes it easy, Concur is that tool.

Cons

Overall, I have very few qualms about the solution. Sometimes the mobile application can act a little buggy, but i think it has more to do with my SSO then the app itself.

The software I used for submit my expenses every month and it is very fixable software saving a lot of time for doing the expense report. Flixability and ease of use is the most advantages for it.

Pros

I like that it's cloud-based and includes Expensify.

Cons

1) Extremely poor customer service. It's not their fault, but the customer service teams are outsourced and unqualified to do much more than read from a script. 2) The software lacks an intuitive interface. Requires a lot of manual effort, from receipt matching (which is supposed to be automatic but fails more often than not to match to the proper transaction), to viewing the receipt in a little tiny window. The transaction type, which the system should learn, fails to port properly about 50% of the time, which means I have to manually change it. All in all, requires A LOT of manual effort for a system that was promised to increase efficiency and make our lives easier.

It allows you to monitor expenses which encouraged proper documentation and disclosure of approved budget relative to that ecpenses. It provides workflow to the approver and target timeline of completion.

Cons

When you edit the ticket details pertaining to the transaction, workflow will automatically restarted.

This is a travel expense automation software that is easy for travelers to use and facilitates their reimbursement while ensuring company policies are met. It works very well for that and people in our company who were heavy users in prior jobs wish they had this tool now. We are committed to another product but I have high respect for this tool and believe it is very traveler-friendly, while keeping proper business controls.

Pros

Starting an expense report is easy - just scan your first receipt and it starts a new expense claim if you don't tag it to an existing trip. No need to wait until coming home with a wallet full of receipts to get your expense report going - can toss the receipts once it is scanned. Uses OCR technology to read critical data of the receipt and fills it in to your expense claims, saving time. It allows many controls to be built into the approval process to weed out potential fraud and ensure submissions comply with company policy.

Cons

Can be difficult to implement on platforms other than SAP.

It is easy to use and makes expense reporting a 1-2 hour task for the month (about 10-15 receipts on average).

Pros

I like the ability to upload receipts in a digital image format. I also like the ability to chose from my companies GL codes in a clickable format.

Cons

The think I like least about Concur is the time it takes to upload receipts. Also, on occasion it will be difficult to find expenses that occurred during the time frame selected for the expense report, but this may be an issue with Concur or the credit card company.

I use Concur for my expense tracking and it works really well overall.

Pros

Concur makes it easy to track expenses. It's easy to attach receipts and the whole process, from submitting expense reports to review is pretty seamless. The integration with travel booking is very convenient also.

Cons

The interface is functional, but it's not the prettiest interface I've ever seen. The font is also kind of small.

Pros

I've had to submit my company expenses while using the corporate card for a long time and it was so much of a hassle and slow process before using SAP Concur. It's so convenient to be able to use desktop options or if you're like me, the mobile app. It's easy to use, it make it so everything that needs to be marker is included so my expense report doesn't come back to me to be resubmitted. Glad I made the switch!

Cons

It might be my phone or the angle but when taking a picture of my receipts it includes a lot of the background. That said it's an easy fix by manually moving the capture to only have the receipt.
