Quality Manager Automotive Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Excellent Product" August 28, 2020 5.0 Keeping track of expenses and employee expenses is so much easier and less time consuming then with our manual system. Pros This software replaced a cumbersome, manual paper entry system. I love the ability to review and approved remotely. I appreciate the emailing of receipts and then being able to easily select them for each expense. It is a huge time saver. Cons The association of my expenses to my companies general ledger account number does not show my selections. I would like the software to recognize that I use the same 5 account numbers every month, I'd like the list to be intuitive and suggest these 5 numbers at the beginning of the drop down list so I don't have to scroll down and find them every month. I tend to start my expense reports from the webpage and finish them on the app, using the camera feature for receipts. Also the price is very competitive to similar products. Cons I don't like how difficult it sometimes is to get expenses submitted and approved when you're doing everything correct. I also don't like not being able to understand someone when I call in to support. And the app seems to know my settings and which report to add expenses to. It is user-friendly and remembers which currency I am submitting for so that I don't have to search for them. Cons It would be great if I received notifications for the app when my manager approves an expense. And it would be great if I could put that I'm only interested in seeing my team or department's expense options, versus searching through other teams' options. Pros It allows me to file my travel expenses and reimbursement forms online. Cons This is probably due to my lack of experience in using the app, but I don't find it intuitive or easy to use. I use this app when I need to file travel expenses through my university and every time I need to use it, I have to be walked through how to use it by someone in the business office who is used to working with this software. I love its integration with American Express statement, which allows to autogenerate expense reports directly from the e-statements. Cons Increased functionality comes at the expense of usability; sometimes you may find Concur difficult to use. Also, there are some steps that are repetitive; for example, if you qualify an expense report as "personal, do not reimburse", you will also have to qualify each of the expense items. Cons You need to upload receipts one-by-one. If you had a backlog of receipts to submit, this can be a bit of an inconvenience at times. The APP is WAY better to use then the actual computer software as well. Cons I don't find this very user-friendly, it's quite overwhelming, all the options you have and requires a little bit of training. Pros You can link your personal and business credit cards. Any purchases made using these forms of payment are automatically compiled in Concur. I also find the Concur mobile app the most user friendly of the two. When you make a purchase, open the app, upload a receipt and the required info, then submit. No more lost receipts or late expenses! You will also receive daily email reminders if you expenses are past due. Cons It’s not foolproof. Sometimes when I go to round up all of my expenses for a specific month or timeframe, there will be expenses that are easy to overlook. This causes me to have to hunt for them later on. The site itself is fairly easy to navigate. Great software for a company to track company transactions, and easy for any employee to submit expenses for reimbursement. The categories for expenses are pretty comprehensive. Cons I have tried to use the phone app for Concur multiple times, and it always seems to fail for me. It shuts down when I try to save new receipts and has not been a reliable app for me.
