January 1, 2025 1.0 Couldn’t tell you if the system itself is any good or not because we have been working on the integration since April of 2024 (today is Jan 1 2025) and WE STILL HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE INTEGRATION. The “Support” team is useless and refers us back to the account reps. The account reps don’t respond. The original rep set us up on a platform that wouldn’t work for our needs so we had to switch platforms. We chose Concur because it’s the only one that would integrate with our ERP system and work with our Corporate Cards (Chase Ink) - only to be told that the Chase Ink integration was broken. No we can integrate with Chase Ink but can’t get ANYONE to work with us on the integration (emailing for MONTHS). The reports are TERRIBLE. They suck to read. The suck for printing. Pros I don't like anything about Concur. The program requires the user to put in all sorts of nit-picky data. Cons 1\. For one simple trip, it literally takes 3+ hours to input your receipts, input all of the nitpicky data and deal with admin complaints such as, "Please explain why you are taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel". 2. I have a grant and should not be doing support staff work like this -- having faculty deal with the clunky system and people who refuse to help us ultimately does not generate $ for my University. 3. My University and the bureaucracy of SAP Concur acts like my time is free, when ultimately they are stealing from themselves and not using my time efficiently. Review Source JC Jeff C. Pros I like the ease of filing expense reports in general, as well as the mobile app. The ability to take photos of receipts in the moment, using the app helps with peace of mind as to not lose them. Cons The only feedback I would say as a Con, would have to be the ability in the mobile app to upload a receipt that is a PDF. The expense reimbursement process is simple and straightforward, directly sending the reports to managers/accounting to approve. In addition, the availability of two-factor authentication keeps our users' financial reports secure. Cons I have nothing negative to report on regarding this application. Pros You can create and pay for the whole itinerary (mostly) in one go. It integrates with my credit cards, travel rewards, and loyalty accounts too. Pros Concur has totally streamlined the way we handle expenses at our company! The platform is super efficient, intuitive, and designed to be really user-friendly. Submitting expenses isn't this terrible, time consuming process with Concur....it's pretty simple and clear. Cons No real concerns!! And if there ever is a problem, the customer support team is really responsive and supportive.
