Uploading invoices and receipts were straight-forward once you get used to the workflow. Documentation of the SW was detailed. I usually get reimbursed pretty quick too after submitting my expense. Pros Very easy to use for expenses. You can book your hotel/flight right through concur and it generates an expense report for you after the trip is over. Cons Sometimes the error messages are confusing to understand. For example, some expenses require an image of the receipt. It just shows a giant yellow triangle (an alert sign) but doesn’t really explain what is wrong with the report. June 14, 2022 5.0 Overall, I had a great experience with Concur and I would recommend it to others who need to do their expenses and don't want to deal with a complicated software. Pros I loved how easy and efficient Concur is. I was able to learn the software and utilize it quickly. It was also great as you can have a proxy do your expenses for you. Booking travels and submitting expenses on time are part of this challenge. Thanks to Concur, i found really easy to book flights and hotels in a very efficient manner with no surprise. The integration with the expense report tool helps me to save some precious time and frustration. Cons There is no "are you sure" warning or recovery option if you accidentally delete an expense report. And if the expense report is deleted, all of the uploaded receipts and claims get deleted as well. It can set several levels of approval as necessary. Very good record keeping method/database for all types of government reporting. I get email notifications when there are expenses available to submit against. It is easy to create a new expense report and add all available expenses and attach receipts. Then after submission, I get notifications along each step of the process (manager approval, payment approved, etc). The visibility along the way is great. Very happy overall with how simple it makes this required part of my job. I think the biggest impact it has had on us is the ease and functionality of managing travel expenses. It eliminates a lot of the headache we used to have with traveling reps. In addition, I can also book my flight/hotel/car for business trips, and it being all built into one app is super convenient. Cons The booking feature is a little user unfriendly. I can't imagine a simpler way to get my transactions into an expense report. It remembers what you've submitted in the past. It allows you to easily track you mileage, all of the expenses pull in from the card, you can book travel arrangements. Unlimited opportunities Cons Probably the remembering aspect/auto-fill in descriptions. I've had instances where I accidentally submitted something that tied to something completely different in the description. I could've double checked, but I did have that occur. Pros The most helpful feature of Concur is the fact that you can access it via desktop and/or mobile device. There are times where I'll need to quickly expense a meal or travel, etc. while on the go and having the mobile app easily accessible to me prevents me from forgetting to submit those expenses. Cons The system, especially when accessed via desktop, is not the most user-friendly, intuitive interface. There seem to be a lot of extra fields that aren't actually used or that serve the same purpose as other fields, which can make it difficult to know what information needs to go where when submitting an expense. I really like how expenses from my company credit card are directly synchronized to my Concur account - with notifications of expenses posting, to boot! - so that I can directly pass charges into a report without needing redundant receipts. Even GPS-tracking for Uber fares are directly relayed into the system. Cons There can be a lag sometimes between the credit card account and the Concur system. Also, when itemizing hotel bills, things can be cumbersome if in a state where there are an abundance of separate taxes. Review Source Ginger R.
