Pros I like that is is functional and easy to integrate with other systems. I liked getting reimbursed and I like how you can see your tickets and what has been submitted Cons It is so frustrating using it on a computer - its slow and takes so long to fill it out correctly. COO Real Estate Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Over Promised, Under Delivered " February 11, 2020 2.0 I was very disappointing with the disconnect between what was discussed during the sales call that made us choose SAP concur and what we were actually given. The implementation process was at an extremely slow pace and was given as a cookie cutter process that went over 90% of the functionality we didn't even plan to use and again had discussed during the sales call. After nearly 1 month we still weren't able to test the system because the only 2 functions were looking to use with SAP Concur were still not implemented (Credit Card Feed & Customizing GL Exporting). In addition to not having any functionality for our use after 1 month, we issued our decision to leave SAP Concur but are still on the hook for 90 days required cancellation. I would have hoped that given the struggles and lack of functionality SAP would have waived their 90 day cancellation. Instead we are paying for 3 months of a product that isn't set up, that we won't be using. Pros The software sounded promising but once we got into implementation things were dragged out and functionality of what was discussed during the sale were not provided Cons Unable to connect to our credit card providers Reason for choosing SAP Concur The sales call made the system sound promising for what we were looking for. Granted each platform that I have used with SAP has been a pain. Trying to get someone to work with you to resolve an issue is unreal. Pros The only pro is that a number of large companies utilize this program, so interfacing with them is easy. Cons Depending on what a company wants will make or break this program for you. There are a number of functions that I see as usless. It simplified the receipt process and helped improve the data quality and tracking of expenses. Pros The ability to take photos of our receipts on the go and have them ready once you were at your desk to process. This really helped in reducing the number of expenses that had to be lodged without a receipt. Cons The looking up of allocation codes was cumbersome at times, where if the catalogue was too big, it would be difficult to locate. Review Source JW Jacob W. Philanthropy Used the software for: ### "Keeping Track with Concur" November 26, 2014 5.0 Pros Because I use this feature the most, I would have to say what I like best about Concur is the mileage calculator. It integrates Google Maps, so instead of having to determine your mileage on your own, it does this for you as you set your destination points. It automatically converts the mileage into dollars which is great, too. It also remembers your destinations so that you can start typing a location and select "Enter" once the address pops up. It makes keeping track of my mileage for work fast and simple. Cons I think what I like least is that when I include a meeting expense (such as when I purchase a cup of coffee for when my colleagues and I meet up at a cafe), Concur automatically divides up the cost of the coffee among the members of the meeting. It's not a big deal because I am still reimbursed for my $2 coffee (instead of the $0.50 that shows up), but it's just a bit strange to see this. If there was an option to not divide the cost and instead just note the members of the meeting, I think that would be great. Pros Straight forward expense management procedure for users. Does not take much time to create a report. New feature for automatic receipt matching using Machine Learning is appreciable. Cons It can get out of control if someone isn't roping in all the categories of spending. Sometimes it was hard to know which category to pick out of several similar ones. Quick and easy process as all of your data is uploaded, and sending to your manager and finance for approval is a breeze. Have used other platforms and they're nowhere near as easy, fast, and stress relieving to get expenses done and signed off on quickly like Concur. Figure it all out the first time, and you'll never have an issue. great filters for expense options. Cons Uploading multiple receipts for one expense is an issue because you can't, you'd have to do them separately. It's got everything that both administrators, finance people, and regular employees need. Cons But man, is it PAINFUL to use. The UI is so bad: it doesn't allow you to open links in new tabs. Each click refreshes the ENTIRE page and takes several seconds. It's very ugly. It's unintuitive to use. Submitting an expense is always a nightmare as there's always something wrong. It could be improved by automating more of the fields because now it still requires a lot of manual changes. But it's easy to use each month for expense reports. Pros While invoicing is never fun, Concur makes it simple. It's easy to complete all of the necessaary fields that are needed to submit expenses. All of the expenses automatically appear and you can select which ones go to a specific report. Or you can simply add them all to a new report. Cons I don't like the amount of manual effort needed for each expense. While some thigns are automiatically populated, it still requires manual effort for most. Review Source HH Heather H. The ability to have a paperless approval flow and an organized way to process, review, and pull AP files. Cons Time lag between approval of AP and remittance of check or ACH. Lack of features/options. It seems like Invoice is new for Concur and still being improved.
