I am more than happy that there is an easier way to do reimbursements for travel, meals, and client lunches. Pros There is nothing worse than having to jump through what feels like endless hoops all to get $15 back from your org let alone hundreds due to travel, housing, and entertaining clients. With concur it allows you to take a photo of receipts, label them and move on! It's as simple as that. This also makes it loads easier on the accounting team; labeled, categorized, and all photos are there for auditing purposes. Cons The only issue I ran into was labeling. Concur gives you a set group of labels you can choose from to categorize your receipt, and some don't fit perfectly. So it's important that the team is on the same page of how to categorize moving forward. I have used other companies when I worked else where and I like Concur the best. Pros Concur is a great tool/program being able to submit expenses and do travel though. You can set up the parameters you are allowed as well as integrate apps like Uber, etc. so each ride is uploaded into it automatically. Adding different employees to expenses helps to easily make it known who was involved with the transaction. It is also easy to submit the reports for approval or send a report back to the user, when needed. Pros This product makes it easy for me to track my monthly corporate credit card transactions. I can easily add a photo of the invoice and select a reason for the transaction. Cons It would be great if more of the fields I regularly select were saved. I have to enter the business reason for each transaction when it is typically the same. For these uses, I think that the platform works well. It's easy to understand, and I was able to navigate the platform with limited training. Sometimes the receipt option doesn't work well, but in general is easy to utilize. Cons Sometimes when I try to send receipts directly to my concur profile, it glitches. I also think the interface is outdated. There is limited explanation about what each reimbursement category is -- it would be great to have an explanation when you hover over the category. Now that I have the hang of it, I can create and submit a mileage expense report in 5 minutes. Easy peasy!!! Pros We use MileIQ to track our miles for reimbursements and it seamlessly Integrates with Concur so I can create a report easily and import the data to concur with one click. Concur is amazing and how I handle all expenses for work! Cons I didn’t get much training on how to create and submit expense reports so it was tricky to figure out how to correctly submit a mileage report with the correct data. But like anything it just takes time! Pros It can help with compliance with the Sunshine Act which is very important for pharmaceutical companies. Cons It's very expensive. They charge $14 per expense report. This way you are sure not to loose or misplace a receipt. Pros It can be set up to receive receipts automatically and it posts them in an expense. It will even itemize hotel stay. It has the option to book hotel, air flight, car rental. Cons It is hard to allocate expenses on the mobile app. It does not save the selections even when it shows it did. When you go back the allocations are no longer there. There are step by step guides to walk you through the process and there are error messages that wont let you submit an expense report with mistakes which is quite helpful! Cons At first, it can look a little daunting, but once you start getting into it the software is quite easy to navigate.
