Pros I really like how easy it is to submit expense reports for my work. This pulls in information from my corporate card and already fills in some of the information. It pulls in previous submissions of my reports to help me submit my expense report. Pros We use Concur for all expense reports at work, and, once you get the hang of it, it makes for a quick expense report process. You're able to set up delegates to enter reports on your behalf, but approval still comes to you. Able to set up multiple layers of approval. For instance, our department directors review forms, and then our HR team reviews forms for policy compliance. Also has a mobile app for convenience! Cons Steep learning curve, especially when learning to set up travel itineraries. Also, the expense categories are not always straightforward. That said, these challenges are not insurmountable. Pros I am able to use SAP Concur to book and log work expenses. Booking of flights and hotels are also relatively easy with the use of this software. When I've have used it to schedule travel, it's been a little more involved. Pros The ability to designate a surrogate to submit and process my travel and CME reimbursements. It's also great to be able to link my rewards accounts to my travels. Cons The overall interface is busy and I would prefer a simpler homepage. I like the fact that it's easy to find what you are missing that is preventing you from submitting a certain report (it shows as red). The mobile app is hit-or-miss and not as reliable as I would like it to be. Pros Fast, easy-to-navigate website. It does one thing (expense reports) with minimal pain on the part of the employee. Also nice to control notifications. One of the better tools I have used for business expense reporting. Pros Easy to use with built-in tutorials, some customization for company procedure is available. Cons I was unable to report a transaction as a pending card transaction. It helps us with budgets and create spending reports. Pros SAP Concur is user friendly and easy to use. I use this to keep track of all my receipts and categorize each expense. Cons One feature I struggle with is how it wont let me submit my report with all my receipts if one charge is missing a receipt. I think it should have an area where I can explain why I may not have a receipt. It's user interface is simple to user and required no training. Almost everyone understands how to use it. Cons Concur has been known to crash or have glitches. July 6, 2016 1.0 Horrible web and mobile app. Painful expense reporting and even more painful travel booking. They obviously have no concept of user experience. Isn't software supposed to make our live easier? Mobile app rarely uploads my receipts. They just seem to vaporize. The web app is incredibly slow and mostly non-intuitive. Pros If you have a corporate card, it will automatically insert the basics; date, vendor, expense amount. Cons The user interface seems to lack any regard for user experience. I literally spent 12 hours putting together one report. Learning curve should be much shorter. Their travel booking feature is completely useless. I always get better rates with less effort and time than going through their ridiculous application. Pros I really liked the ease of use. I've used many expense tool in my career and they all have some annoying features that was hard to figure out. I felt like I went through Concur without any hiccups or problems. I everything made sense and I had no trouble using it Cons It's a bit expensive for smaller companies and it comes with features that smaller companies may not need but there is no option to get a cheaper plan with less features. I was waiting two months before and once they implemented this I was getting them back the next pay check. Cons It and be a little clunkie when trying to match up receipt with the cost. Also depending on how it was setup it can be a pain to match up costs with the correct categories.
