### "Work on computers remotely and efficiently"

I got the trial to see if it would aid me in servicing my clients remotely. I will have to look elsewhere for something to do that, however I am considering it for remote work on distant PCs I own, as well as for doing remote work on my wife's pc when I am away from home.

Pros

This software allows one to work from home, or access remote computers with ease. It is fast, efficient, and relatively simple to set up. It is similar to the Remote Service software technicians use to work on customer PCs remotely, but establishes a more permanent connection and requires you to know the login details to the remote PC.

Cons

Price is very high and paid on a yearly basis; you don't own the software, you rent it. It is unsuitable to tech repair jobs at a distance unless the customer provides you with login details for their computer. It would be very useful for working from home, in a situation where all that info was avaialable, but not for commercial support purposes.

I have never had any problems with this software. Great customer service, excellent price, convenient features, and easy-to-use interface. My experience with LogMeIn Pro has been a joy. My dental office uses this software to allow our IT company allow access to all 14 of our computers. I use this personally to be able to remotely log into my computer when I'm away. LogMeIn Pro is the finest remote access software.

Pros

Everything. There are no flaws with this software. It is extremely easy to use and is so convenient. The features are great, from allowing me to access my computer from afar or access other people's computers to assist them.

Cons

I have no complaints with this software.

Pros

It has helped tremendously when an issue is brought to our attention and I can't quite figure out the problem without logging in to their computers. It is extremely easy to use and fast!!

Cons

I don't like the view when you are logged in as everything appears half the size as it usually does, but it is purely aesthetic and not a functional issue at all.

If I could give this product 11 stars of 10 I would because I love it so much. It helps tremendously with being able to train others and adding another computer as well.

Pros

I like the fact that I can log in from anywhere as long as I have an internet connection. It makes it a lot easier because we have a small agency and it allows me to connect into the main hub at our office, while also it being secure as well.

Cons

The only con is probably the support, they aren't the quickest to respond back. Besides that, all is great with this product.

The convenience and accessibility is unbeatable. The price tag has left me with the desire to consider other options.

Pros

LogMeIn has SAVED me about a gazillion times from the early days as a free user and needing to access a document on my desktop at home to now as a business owner and with several users needing access to share data and collaborate.

Cons

The customer support is not the best. Also the price seems to increase each year and if you are not wary about the auto renewal you may have signed up for, you may get slammed with a cost you were not expecting.

Pros

Was eventually useful for controlling iMacs at work at two different locations. Allowed for simple file transfer options and whiteboard feature decent for collaboration with others when out of office.

Cons

Expensive renewal options. Only allows remote control of two computers and price goes up quickly if more computers or locations required. Cheaper and as effective alternatives exist.

I set all my clients up with this if they want a reliable, easy to use remote desktop software. The app for iPad is super intuitive and it makes for a great travel. Remote sound and printer are very good features.

Pros

This is a great and stable user friendly application. Great for small businesses because of the reliable iPad app, which lets you log in with ease anywhere you go linking you back to your computer and files on the go. This programme for remote desktop has long been a favourite of my clients purely for the ease of use. Remote device printing is a great feature this does natively very well.

Cons

Latest versions are not always mac compatible for the native application, but you can always use a stripped down HTML browser based remote desktop. Secondly passing keyboard shortcuts through remote desktop can always be temperamental, many times it has worked, but on occasion CTRL + A, for instance hasn't worked.

As an IT administrator I would recommend this product. The rice is in the ball park with other similar products and the tech support was outstanding , the few times I needed help.

Pros

Product was very easy to install and use. I manages about 50 machines and this product allowed me to do my job with relative ease.

Cons

The learning curve to fully understand all the function of this produce takes some time but not uncommon for such a powerful product.

Seemed to be the best overall remote login software of all the options we tired. Not quite a replacement for a true VPN.

Pros

Great access and easy to use interface to log into a computer remotely. Connection was usually quick and didn't seem to cause any issues as a few similar programs had for us.

Cons

Some lag is experienced from time to time, could be more connection/speed related than anything with the software. Occasionally had resolution issues depending on the device logging in with.

LogMeIn is one of those companies that sets the standard for remote access. I honestly would prefer to use this or TeamViewer, but my company went another direction (Bomgar). Easy to use Easy to support Great customer Service Low processing requirements

Cons

There's nothing I can really say that's a negative. Bomgar is a little \*prettier\*, but LogMeIn does exactly what it needs to do and it's easy fotr the end user as well, which is super important.

Pros

I used Logmein for four years as I managed my business remotely. I have to say it made the transition to working from home seamless. It was very easy to use as well as secure.

Cons

I can not think of any problems that I had with this software. It was pretty easy to use.

Pros

I started using LogMeIn when it was a free. That was a long time ago. When they started charging base on user, I opted for the PRO account. It helped me support remote sites, servers, and user support. The app and services was VERY reliable and easy to use.

Cons

With the different product options, it was confusing for the user at times. I understand charging the customers based on different needs. Price per user can be pricey for large organizations.

Once you get LogMeIn properly set up and configured, it essentially runs itself. The small bits of time and keystrokes it saves add up.

Cons

When LogMeIn isn't running smoothly -- particularly when WiFi is shaky -- it can be a pain to calibrate and get working again.

This product has been a life saver when my stores are having issues that need to be fixed right away. I live about 30 minutes away and I can't have customers waiting for me to get there to purchase items.

Pros

I really like using LogMeIn Pro to access my work computers from home when my stores are having problems they can't explain over the phone.

Cons

The only cons I would say about this product is that sometimes it would take a little longer to connect that I would like.

Pros

Love this software. Log onto my clients PC to show them things and troubleshoot problems they are having without having to have them search for things over the phone. This works great for software support specialist. Spent many years being frustrated on the phone with clients when asking them what they see on their screen, now I can see what they see.

Cons

Nothing that I do not like about this software. It is awesome.
