Being able to log back into my computer at home.

Pros

What I like most about LogMeIn is that it is fairly simple to setup and use. It can help when you have documents stored on another computer you may not have access to.

Cons

One thing I did not like about LogMeIn is the many updates it has and how sometimes, the new update can cause some things to stop working.

Accessibility wherever you are. No longer need to be onsite to get the job done. Perfect for working while on the road, or in meetings.

Pros

Access to office programs and databases while offsite. Ability to tap into resources wherever needed, without having to physically be in the office.

Cons

The login process can be somewhat tedious. Although it's set up for security, I'm sure, the multiple step login process can take more time than desired.

Overall, it is a very good software for a reputed big business, not for a start up.

Pros

This works on any system and its reliable for me han others softwares I have used which are in the market. When we are on the run (outside) it is very hard to manage tasks in the office, even if you are a freelancer. therfore, this software is very useful. the responsiveness is really good.

Cons

At first it will be a bit hard to set up the remote server for a beginner. It is also a bit expensive for start ups.

Log Me In has allowed us to keep the IT folks on the ball when it comes to solving software and connectivity problems in the workplace. Make sure to purchase the software as the trial version runs out quickly.

Pros

Great Tool for your IT department to be able to fix problems in the network or computers on the fly.

Cons

Connections are sometimes unstable, while this could be latency issues or software, I do not know

Pros

The connection process is simple and easy to follow .You can use it on multiple devices ,including mobile ones . Your login credentials also ensure it would be very hard for someone who is not supposed to to connect .

Cons

The recent price increase has made me more reluctant to use LogMeIn Pro . There is also a noticeable lag of a second or two on connected devices.

Pros

LogMeIn was easy to set up on my regular and secondary computer, and was compatible across platforms. I was able to access my PC remotely from a Mac, with no lag time.

Cons

LogMeIn worked slightly better than free services like Chrome Remote Desktop, but not better enough for me to switch permanently. My remote desktop could be displayed on a secondary monitor, but since my monitor was larger than my real computer screen, I could not expand the display to fill the whole monitor.

Allowed remote engineer to access one of our servers.

Pros

The connection speed is great but the best feature is the ease of use on transfer of files. Moving a file in question to your remotely connected PC is a just a drag and drop. This feature was built for remote support which is exactly what I need it for.

Cons

It's a little tricky to setup, using the trial version seems to lack some of the features that the purchased version has but once the purchase was made, "All is Well".

Overall experience was good, there were occasional issues with getting disconnected. Due to pricing we no longer use this software

Pros

On the past this was an inexpensive "go to" product. As remote connect/control has become more main stream, I feel that LogMeIn Pro has priced themselves out of the market for many users

Cons

The Price is the main factor, but occasional connection issues comes in a close second.

Pros

Very easy-to-use, mostly reliable and stable. You can even get decent remote access functionality out of the mobile phone app which is very handy in a pinch.

Cons

Very occasionally lose contact with a machine which then defeats the purpose. A little on the pricy side given other available options.

It was more secure than VNC, but I used it so rarely since all my apps have moved to the cloud anyway.

Pros

Ease of use, it works. In the beginning, in 2014 the price was very attractive even though I was using some other free product. Logmein was more polished.

Cons

Price progression from 2014 to now. They tried to get me over to 'GotoMyPC', but I went to the forum there and noted the same problems with crazy price increases. I guess they need to pay the $5million salary of the CEO. but not with my $.

Worked for what I absolutely needed it for but was not a replacement for being at my desk.

Pros

it was nice to be able to access my desktop remotely so I can get work done from home

Cons

You could only use it for minor things as it was slow to respond and hard to use on an ipad, especially since my desktop has dual monitors

LogMeIn is the number one solution for accessing the information you need from any system. This has become an invaluable tool in the remote/BYOD environment which we have now grown quite accustomed to. As low as $1/day, this is the software you need going into the future.

Pros

The software is excellent when I do not have access to my office computer, which contains all of my crucial information. Incredibly easy to set up out of the box, you do not have to be tech-savvy to quickly get used to all of its features. I have never had to initiate support for the utility, and it has not failed me once. I would not be able to be as productive as I am today in our new culture.

Cons

The software is billed annually instead of month-to-month, but this is how some of the lighter packages can be offered at such a great rate.

Easy to let your client sit back while you remotely fix their problem without ever leaving your chair. Easily install software to needed computers in the office from the comfort or your own computer.

Cons

I used the standard edition at first and had some connection issues, but after switching to the pro version it seemed to work a lot better and opened up more features.

Pros

When using on a PC to PC remote login easy to use and can use with about same ease as doing on computer at work. Allows me to remote login and work from home.

Cons

Does work a little slower than if you were not remotely logined. Some of the features of program are more difficult to use on a Mac.

Pros

1) The ability to control your machine from almost any location via any device, including mobile phone, is phenomenal; 2) Three-factor authentication is extremely strong.

Cons

1) On occasion, use of the software will crash the host, and if the host has a boot-up password, remote accessibility become impossible; 2) The remote control can sometimes be a little sluggish in terms of the video.

Pros

Logmein has a very intuitive and simple to use interface. You are able to control the target machine almost as if you were physically there. It has a lot of features such as remote printing, file transfers between host and client, swapping view between multiple monitors, access to keyboard, mouse, and sounds, and many more!

Cons

I remember when Logmein was still free and was a bit disappointed when it went paid so I ended up going with other free remote control software out there. The price is pretty steep for what you get in my opinion.

I like that I can easily control lots of things on another pc and the quality of the connection as it's easy to see and operate regardless the resolution on their end.

Cons

I deal with end users that are not very tech savvy and getting them to connect has been an issue as doing so can be complex.

The connection is always reliable . The device you are connecting to not having to be 100% on is also a big advantage . You can assign groups and this makes sorting out permission a lot easier .

Cons

LogMeIn Pro is a pricey product . Prior to the whole company moving to working-from-home ,it didn't make financial sense to get it .
