CEO Used the software for: ### "Great software for fitness business" March 24, 2014 5.0 Really love the ease of use for this software. My favorite is the ability to use EFT for billing everything is integrated so I'm not chasing money. Scheduling is simple and creating and using contracts is made very easy. There's a lot more to the software then my business will probably ever use but I can grow the software with my business so it doesn't break the bank and I've got access to everything I need. I truly think the value far outweighs the cost on this one. I've been hard pressed to find a cheaper system that gives the same tools. I did get a little hung up forming contracts but customer service is quick in response and extremely helpful they straightened me out in a hurry. I haven't run into any major glitches yet though I'm sure there are some, nothings perfect. Review Source AS Ash S. I'm able to get classes/appointments when I want and see what services different places have. I enjoy the flexibility. Pros I've used this site to book workout classes, beauty appointments, etc. It's been pretty simple for the most part. I like the ability to book appointments myself without having to call someone. Cons The actual look of the platform could be improved- the text is very small and the pages are busy. It can also become difficult to edit info when you have a membership to the business. December 3, 2015 2.0 Pros: Available on pc, tablet and phone. Convenient for the clients that use it. All in one - schedule, payments, retail, credit cards and cash, payroll, and financial stats. Cons: Began with MindBody in August 2012 - promised to be up and running in 2 weeks, but it took 2 months because we had to wait in the queue for tech availability. The techs are frequently changing the system which requires time away from task at hand to learn the changes. Some features I liked and used disappear or I just can't find them again in the different menus. Many of the improvements do not benefit my business. Five price increases for same product with the 5th this January 2016. I'm actively looking to replace MB with a less expensive, less complicated system that is budget friendly. December 5, 2016 5.0 I use mind-body as a customer and it's very handy! I love being able to sign up for classes, search for new classes, check how many passes I have, all in one place. Pros It makes finding yoga classes very fast and easy and worries free. Cons I've had trouble giving class reviews. After I've taken a class I will get a notification to review the teacher/class, but as soon as I click the notification it goes away and I don't have the opportunity to do so. Any thing i have wanted in the program they helped me on or add into the system within a few months. I don't like the accounting due to it includes gift cert as income that I am getting back. I can't use their spread sheets for income taxes since the income is not accurate. This is the only thing i have brought up and has yet to be fixed. MindBody has not only made our jobs easier here but has made us look a whole lot more professional. From the MindBody connect app, to the key tag system, and hopefully soon we will be integrating the merchant account. Customer service always sounds like they want to take as much time as it possibly will take to make sure your question is properly answered. The team over at MindBody is not only professional but they are calm and collective. They truly take ownership in solving whatever problem you may have and they are very efficient. I have been using it over a year now and it's been very good for my business. It keeps everything organized and simple. I can do work from anywhere when needed. I really appreciate all the reports I can pull up to helps me keep track of my business. I've used them in presentations to funders and financing agencies. the system makes it very inviting for my students to log in and choose their classes (this motivates them to actually show up to class). I know that there are many functions that I'm not using or promoting yet like the before and after pictures that clients can set up in their profiles. Still lots to be explored! I'm no longer stressed, I'm keeping up on my monthly numbers. I'm even on top of my email marketing. MindBody has simplified my classes schedule making it easier to promote and publish my schedule both on my website and via email. I've also noticed increased traffic to my site. Prospective members are so much better informed about my business since beginning with MindBody. I am the sole owner and trainer wearing many hats at any studio, KimFIT. I feel more confident as I interact with current and prospective clients. Having all of this work handled with such ease has freed me up to be more creative and innovative with my training, doing what I love. October 31, 2015 5.0 We are not the typical MB client, so sometimes we have to figure out work-arounds and learn how to "make do." BUT... since workshop and appointment scheduling is our primary need, we have found that it's worth having to do the work-arounds for our retail side. In addition, MB is always tweaking the program to make it better -- and I love that! I can't say enough good stuff about Tech Support -- and just want to give a shout out to Trish Powell because she is truly "da bomb"! She knows MOST of the answers and can get me answers to any question I have -- and I don't have to wait months for the answer! I was able to customize the software to my business. This software has saved the business more than the cost of use. Cons The hardware should be able to be set up as part of the monthly payment.
