I think it gives the studios a strong understanding of what is going on. The regime change has been something to get used to but the are puuting in great effort to change the system for the better

Pros

The pure power of the business analytic behind it. Yes, the interface is a little dated, but the power is enormous.

Cons

The dated feel to it and the rebuild is taking a long time. They are trying to bring the product into the AI age and it has had its speed bumps

Mindbody is a very useful tool that we use every day at the gym that I work for. Their customer service is very helpful and insightful on the feature that this Product offers.

Pros

Ease of use. Can find members very easily. The reports are also very specific and good. You can tag clients and come back to them very easily, and that is a Feature that I use a lot in the Mind body Business app

Cons

There is no Apple Pay feature. Also, when adding clients, there is no option to swipe ID to cover a lot of the information in the new "Add clients" Screen.

6/10. Integrating with gym access was a nightmare and really brought out a lot of scheduling flaws in the system

Pros

All in one software for scheduling, advertising and student reviews

Cons

The software doesnt integrate well with 3rd party companies that are referred by mindbody, such as gymm access. Classes cannot pay for appointments, although the pricing relationships says its doable. This caused massive inconvenience and hours worth of work. Also, if i want to schedule a block of time as available for appointments, I cannot use the same room as classes if I want the appointments to begin at various times. This is supposed to be scheduling software but cannot use the same room for different services, so i have to make 1 studio into 2 different rooms. Also, Im now being told I need to use MB for payment processing and will be forced to pay a higher fee for all services charged below $50.

It's a great program, the support is good and the value is well worth it. The ability to manage employees and payments is perfect for what I need.

Pros

The ability to access my schedule from anywhere. It's nice to be able to look at my appointments from this week to next month.

Cons

For some reason, the schedule on the mobile app doesn't display properly when I'm accessing later at night (11pm/12am). Other than that, everything is great

Defintley serves our purpose in our type of business (golf simulators). Very user friendly and other than some long wait times for tech support they are responsive once you do get to talk to someone.

Pros

Ease of use and scheduling accountability is very good. The ability to move reservations and times around with ease is also very helpful for us.

Cons

Occasional confusion in online booking an appointment and charging guest but not giving the time on schedule.

Pros

MindBody's Customer Support is second to none, IMO. They're knowledgeable, patient making sure you're understanding what they're doing, and courteous!!

Cons

It's a bit of a patch work quilt so to speak. However, as I have said, their customer service agents know how to navigate any issue.

They refuse to honor basic contract law principles and are attempting to charge a void contract. Absolutely predatory behavior targeting vulnerable post-surgical patients.

Pros

NOTHING! The software is extremely difficult. They outsource everything and they aren't even versed in the type of wellness I do.

Cons

Mindbody targeted me for a sales call just 15 days after major surgery while I was on Schedule II opioids (oxycodone). I signed a contract 22 days post-surgery while still medically impaired. When I provided complete medical documentation proving I lacked capacity to contract, their representative "Bianca" (Case #05186350, Order #00452655) completely dismissed it and closed my case without legal review.

I am very Satisfied with MBO software. I love its dedication to expanding its industry-needed added services and needs.

Pros

It provides the full spectrum of tools needed for my yoga studio. It is a leading industry product that others have not bettered.

Cons

Cost. It is justified the amount being charged; however, for small businesses, the cost should be reconsidered.

Pros

It has a wide ranging and diverse functional capability. It is also excellent at running memberships which is very helpful

Cons

It became expensive and stopped supporting our card payment provider

Overall MindBody has been a great system for our gym and scheduling and payment collection. It makes management easier!

Pros

The ability to schedule multiple staff members, and for them to have immediate access to the schedules. Ease of payroll and reports. Always able to get a hold of them for customer service needs.

Cons

Some limitations on being able to adjust some client info on the back end, makes you rely on the client to be able to navigate.

Pros

It was a really great starting software for what I needed for my gym. Support was excellent, price was fair, reviews were great.

Cons

Cost. It was ok at first then it got really expensive. The per CC charge is where the most expense was from.

Love the mind body team, the customer support is great, would appericiate more customizing and ease with the finiace and reporting part but othrewise i good experience.

Pros

i appericiate the custiner sypport, the ease of use! Schedule and managing appointments are also something easily adabtable and very straight forward. i like the new features of analytics to, the snapshot gives you a quick bird view.

Cons

I would like the ability to customize more pricing packages and dont like the restricitions we have with the limit of how may packages, would also love the marketing to be more advanced. as for the analytics would like for the dates to be customizable!

Mostly good. System does have a few restrictions I would love to see changed....like activation dates for clients purchases. Would be nice if administrator(me) could update an activation date

Pros

I'm very familiar with MindBody, so the ease of use works well for me. I've recently had a couple of good experiences with tech support though my most recent issue was unresolved and even the tech support person agreed it was an obvious mistake in your code.

Cons

I reported an issue with an absolute mistake in your code for enrollment restrictions where someone was obviously confused and coded it as if there are 12 days in a month...probably thinking 12 months in a year. As the result, any monthly memberships with less than unlimited allowed enrollments can only be restricted up to 12 days in a month. VERY obvious coding error. I haven't heard back about the fix for the obvious mistake and have no ide if it will be fixed. THis is a big problem for me because I recently created a monthly pricing option for more than 12 days in a month but less than unlimited and system won't stop clients from enrolling.

I'm fairly happy with MB. With its long history in the business, I'm surprised at how many times I still have to call support to problem solve for me.

Pros

It's familiar to clients, since so many businesses use it. The Insights feature is also helpful to me.

Cons

When calling support, the hours of talking to level 1 reps who are not qualified to solve the problem, only to be escalated to someone who can solve it in 15 minutes.

Very good. Plenty of features that enhance the experience. Scheduling is very well done and convenient for business owners as well as employees.

Pros

Elaborate and detailed. Everything the company needs is available. Updating trainer schedules and booking people into their schedules is easily edited.

Cons

Mobile app and website are very different in their functionality. While they both can accomplish the same tasks, the method and easy of each is very different.

a big company not interested in small business. fairly high priced for what it is. Poor customer service.

Pros

ability to take CC to hold appointments, clean look, quick real time online booking. not too many pay to play add ons.

Cons

COST ! many glitches, many server down (always on a busy day), hard to reach tech support. cancelling is the hardest thing to do. get ready to pay months just to cancel.

Pros

It is easy to use and works well for our business! We are loving the new group booking options. Helps us out during check out.

Initially very good and support was excellent, this has reduced over the years of using (we have used for 7years plus) and the sales support is now quite challenging sometimes, it is there but the knowledge of the support is poorer now. Tech support is still ok but often supported by too much blurb and difficult to identify.

Pros

It is a full spectrum booking and management system so everything in one place. The potential is good but the reality can be stressful for the business user.

Cons

Unfortunately it has quite a few cracks in its functionality especially on the client facing side, it can be complicated and confusing to use

My overall experience with Mindbody is great. Again, it is easy to use and teachable. I would definitely recommend this to another business owner in want for something new.

Pros

I like how easy the scheduling is. Mindbody allows me to run reports that shows how well my services are doing including client retention.

Cons

Something I find least likable is the glitches that Mindbody seems to have often. It can be frustrating when I'm checking a client out and it freezes or doesn't load the page right away.

Overall it is smooth and functional. The grey interface is nice. But many clients get confused about how to link their mindbody account to their verified email, so i don't like that.

Pros

The scheduling system. You can easily replace teachers and assistant teachers. I like how functional it is.

Cons

I don't like that glitches occur. I don't like the sales reports. The interface is boring and technical, it is not intuitive to use. I don't like that when I retail a sale I can only do one client at a time.

I've enjoyed the product and learned a lot about it along the way. The new analytics dashboard is great and I like the ease of using the marketing platform for emails and texts.

Pros

Mindbody is the most powerful platform out there. Everything from your POS, CRM and marketing functions are all in one place. It's convenient and allows me to have all functions of the business in one place. I've looked at other platforms, but nothing compares.

Cons

The price. Mindbody is the most expensive software out there. As a small business it can be difficult to keep up.

This is the best software I have used for yoga studios and is very easy and helpful, has a lot of applications.

Pros

The very easy to read and intuitive dashboard. The dashboard allows you to see everything at a glance which is a time saver.

Cons

You cannot email a class to let them know of notifications. The print out for the class list/roster contains all the information about the students so you can't use it for sign in.

I like having all client info and credit processing all under mindbody. I like having reports to look at each month as well.

Cons

I would like to know more about mindbody AI and see if it can help me engage past members. I have thousands of contacts that may be interested.

MBO is a 10! Customer support, rating software a 10. Has done many changes on their software system and contuine to better the brand.

Pros

MBO has a great customer service team always there to help. Doesn't matter what you need they find a way to help.

Cons

wait times but it's understanding busy with other fitness or spa companies. Would be great to have a better texting platform.

I'd say the scheduling capabilities were fairly intuitive- moving classes from one schedule to the next, cancelling, rescheduling etc was great. The check out process was tedious, took forever, and editing patient and teacher info was clunky and inconsistent.

Pros

Creating schedules you can offer online for solo and group classes worked fairly well.

Cons

The checkout process was long and tedious and the loading screens between viewing customer profiles took forever.
