Mindbody makes it really easy to find, book, and manage fitness classes from different studios in one place. The app is convenien, and helps keep schedules and appointments all in one spot.

Cons

It can be a bit slow or glitchy at times, and some features feel limited depending on the studio or service you’re using.

I entered into a service agreement with Mindbody Inc. after being represented that their platform would provide a seamless, all-in-one booking and business management solution for my business. Prior to signing the agreement, I specifically communicated that I was leaving my previous booking platform because of scheduling difficulties experienced by my clients, and I needed a platform that would improve and simplify the booking experience. After implementation, I discovered that the platform did not function as represented during the sales process. Specifically: Clients are required to book multiple services separately instead of through a seamless booking flow The add-on feature does not extend appointment times appropriately, which negatively impacts scheduling accuracy and creates lost revenue opportunities The platform is significantly more difficult for both myself and my clients to use than represented These limitations materially affect my ability to operate my business effectively. I formally disputed the agreement directly with Mindbody Inc. and explained the issues in writing. However, rather than addressing the substance of my dispute, the company informed me that their “decision is final” and stated they would not respond to further inquiries. Despite being notified in writing that I dispute the agreement and do not authorize continued billing while the matter remains unresolved, Mindbody Inc. has continued charging my account

Friendly staff. Unfortunately I don't have any other things positive things to say about the company.

Cons

Read their reviews on BBB before you think about signing a contract. They will try to rush you into signing a contract to get whatever price they're offering you. Red flag!

Not great and please be mindful before going with these guys. I'm writing this as its come to a point that I have spent so much time on this app, for something that is an overpriced booking system.

Pros

Linked with Class pass. Costumer service calls straight away when you request help. That's all I can think of

Cons

Time consuming with behind house. Contracts links sometimes works for clients depending on the phone they have, better if they do it through the computer. Not user friendly. The three months free they give you in the beginning is due to how long it takes to convert your clients over and get contracts up and running. I paid clients transaction fees, which can equate to a lot for a small business. $2200 for us since we have been in contract. Now the transaction fees is working with mind body and is a new feature, everyone has to be sold a new contract because current contracts don't work with the transaction fees, which now requires more time for not only clients, you again. Took three months and 6 different calls for customer service to find the right person to start our appointments in the app for our clients to use. I had been doing this individually each week during this time You are locked in for a year. You are promised everything, time back, ease and leads walking through the door. I've found the opposite. Not to mention it iss 5x more than most other providers out there. I find it hard to write like this as it takes a lot for me to leave a review this bad, never have I ever in 10years in the business and working with two different providers in the past. The only best part of this whole experience is how well the sales guys sell it in the beginning.

Overall I like the app it was used when it first became available and I think it would still hold up today even without updates

Pros

It was easy to use and you could stream line all the information for your classes pretty quickly. Other apps it is more time consuming

Cons

It was hard to look up client information unless everything was exact. So if there was a space or comma missing it wouldnt find it

I think it was terribly over priced and very difficult to use for both the business and the clients.

Pros

What I liked most was the scheduling it was fairly easy to book clients and keep myself organized. Like that it was color coded

The system is old school and very difficult to navigate. It’s also very expensive and costumed service is the worse

The software is difficult to navigate and the scheduling aspect is consistently confusing. Because it lacks a simple, user-friendly interface for booking basic services like massages and sauna sessions, I cannot recommend it. It creates more friction than it solves

Pros

Mindbody’s primary strength lies in its niche specialization; it successfully caters to the health and wellness industry where few other platforms offer a comparable end-to-end solution. However, having used it across several different companies, I’ve found the user experience to be consistently counterintuitive. The mobile interface, in particular, lacks the fluidity and 'user-friendliness' expected of a modern app, often creating friction for both staff and clients.

Cons

While Mindbody is robust, I found the scheduling interface to be unnecessarily complex for daily use. Whether I was managing my own personal training clients or trying to book personal wellness appointments—like massages or sauna sessions—the process felt counterintuitive. The platform lacks the 'one-click' simplicity that modern fitness professionals and clients now expect.

Excellent! I love all of the features for stats, for bookings and client emails! It's also great value for the money!

Pros

Mindbody is an intuitive software program, easy to use and understand and troubleshoot when I have questions using the AI function or the chat.

Cons

The new schedule booking for "unavailability" is glithcy; I much preferred how this worked before it was changed recently

My overall experience with Mindbody has been very positive. Customer support is responsive, and my representative stays in consistent contact, which I truly appreciate. I also value the opportunities to provide feedback through open forums and participate in helpful webinars and pilot programs. It makes me feel like my voice is heard and respected. After 11 years in business, Mindbody has remained a key part of my operations, and I don’t see myself going anywhere else.

Pros

Mindbody has been a major part of how I’ve successfully run my business for the past 11 years. As a one-woman operation, I rely heavily on its scheduling, client management, and overall features to keep everything organized and running smoothly. It allows me to manage bookings, track clients, and stay on top of daily operations without feeling overwhelmed. The platform really supports both the business side and the client experience, which is essential when you’re doing it all yourself.

Cons

The pricing can feel a bit high for a smaller boutique business like mine. Some of the packages seem more aligned with larger organizations, so there are features I don’t always fully utilize. That said, the platform is very helpful overall and plays an important role in how I run my business.

I’ve had a very long history of using MINDBODY for all my local fitness classes. It’s always easy to use, keeps my info and that allows me to sign up for a class in minutes! I love it!

Pros

I use MINDBODY for all of my yoga and fitness classes. The best part is one app for different studio I go to and it keeps my history.

Cons

I’ve not had any issues with the app. It keeps a record of all of my classes so I remember teachers names etc
