Broker Real Estate Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Software Program Further Degrades Communication" May 30, 2020 1.0 Pros Nothing. It was shocking to me that this type of communication is even used in this industry Cons As a Realtor, I received a telephone call from an 877 number, which I almost did not answer, as I figured it was a telemarketing call. If the number is from my area code, I always answer it. Second, there was no chance for dialogue to perhaps work with another time frame. Third, I had no idea who the agent was. I need to be able to let the security personnel know who is coming into the community, so agent identity is essential. Fourth, I had to call the company to try to find out who the agent was, The receptionist did not know and said she would get back to me. Four hours later, still no call. I had to call the company again, and finally, they had the agent call me. Fifth, there should be an opportunity for dialogue between agents, so that we can determine if this showing makes sense. So often, if I can talk to the agent, it turns out, they have lots of kids, or dogs, or other factors that would not make it a suitable fit, and would be a waste of everyone's time. This system further erodes the professionalism of this industry. We are in an industry of communication, this program sabotages communication. Review Source Katelyn R. Cons I don't like how its not easy to find information on the other agent showing the property. Otherwise it’s perfect. It makes me look great to all of my clients because I am so organized. Pros Ease of use, ability to schedule a tour with best route to help you determine order of multiple showings, ability to send tour itinerary to clients via email or printed along with maps. When I need to book an appointment, I choose my time/options and done! Doesn't waste a ton of time. Cons I haven't encountered anything that has been a hindrance with the software. However, if I'm on the road or I'm working with a client, showing homes, its annoying to have to wait for confirmation. I'm not sure if thats on the part of the listing agent. Pros The ability to schedule access and appointments 24/7 without having to always communicate with a person is phenomenal. It’s also great when last minute appointments have to be scheduled. Simply do not like it, not easy to use at all, complicated to set up apps and submit info Cons App never works!! Have to log in every time. They have incorrect information on my listings. Pros It's integrated into our MLS package so it's an easy choice to use. Get feedback on the showing quickly. App can be used by clients so they can see when they need to be out of the house, and get the same feedback as we as the agent are getting. Cons It does what is does. I'm not sure that I'm looking for a lot out of this product other than what it does well. The app looked dated for a long time...though it has been recently updated. Review Source MS Michael S. Pros This is a huge time saver for me. Instead of making phone calls to setup showings, I can easily request showings in a 1/4 of the time that it use to take to make appointments. You can choose method of communications whether email, text, phone, or any combination. It's an organizing method for feedback and sending reports to sellers. Cons Sometimes site navigation requires support. I think the site could be clearer on how to do certain tasks and the help tool isn't of much use. However, the support team is there for questions. February 12, 2021 5.0 Showingtime is great, but I won't be using it anymore because Zillow bought it. Pros Showtime has become a staple in my business and my marketplace, along with many other surrounding market places. It makes it so easy to record showing feedback and slap it into a report for our sellers. Love the automation and ease of this app. Cons Showingtime was just bought by Zillow....AH! It's such a far cry from calling agents to set up appointments. You can even map out multiple showings for your buyer with travel time. Our appointment specialists follow the listing agent's instructions explicitly, so the listing you were trying to show may have had instructions to call the listing agent. We agree, that doesn't really make sense. Perhaps the listing agent entered incorrect instructions, but it's hard to say. Are you able to give further details on the listing you were trying to show? We would love to look into it and find out what happened. Cancelling appointments should never be difficult; it can be done with a quick call or via the ShowingTime mobile app. It sounds like there's more to understand about your exact experience, however.
