Pros

Love the rebooking function. We were able to import customer base from QuickBooks which made initial startup easy.

Cons

Need more templates for letters e-mails to assist user in learning this part of product. This is a great part of the product that can promote customer relations.

Overall experience is great. The small occasional bug, which can also be caused by our slow internet, it is not a hinderance just a small annoyance. The support team definitely helps with the experience, without them, the experience would probably be worse.

Pros

The product is very easy to use and understand. There is plenty of information on how to use certain features, but you can always contact the support team to get help with any problem. Can be used anywhere with an internet connection (the faster speeds the better is works).

Cons

An occasional bug that has returned where sometimes our notes for the reservation do not save, causing confusion. Not being able to resize "repair" blocks without having to fully reopen the "site" just to shorten it by 1 day.

Very easy to see the check ins and outs for the day

Pros

As a Head Housekeeper it very easy to print out the work schedule for the day. Or oversee the entire map for the week. It allows me to make scheduling very easy

Cons

I haven't had alot of problems using the software I only print out the daily check ins and check outs. the rest I dont really use

From day one that when we decided to change to RezStream, they have offered great support and have never made me feel that I was not important. They take the time to know what we are looking for in our reports and what we would like from the software. If they don't have it, they put it on their list and most items have been improved to give the information we are looking for.

Pros

The transition from our previous system to RezStream went quite smoothly. A few bumps but that is to be expected with any change. RezStream tested the integration of our old system to theirs before we made the change. The support from RezStream is great, they are quick to reply to emails and help or fix any issues that have come up.

Cons

RezStream has changed, updated or created reports and other areas of the software that were not functioning they way we would like. So at this time there is nothing that I lease like about the software that I can think of.

Overall a positive experience in the past and looking forward to the future. Just received a gift card from a local restaurant from them as a thank-you for our business. A nice personal touch.

Pros

Ease of use for ourselves making reservations and now for guests making their own online reservations! There is enough information without taking too much time. It is presented in a way that is straightforward enough for our guests. We have used RezStream Cloud for 5 years, but RezStream software has been used by this business for 10+ years!

Cons

The few cons that there are to the software end up being resolved at some point by the developers....they respond to feedback of what is needed by us.

Pros

The system is very easy to use. The customer support is unmatched. They don't try to sell you on things that they don't offer. They are constantly trying to update and be better.

Cons

I don't think there is anything I don't like about Rezstream. I will be very happy once it is officially an all in one platform.

People/company seem to care. Only early in the relationship but seem to be reliable and honest. Cloudbeds billing and customer service poor and inept.

Pros

Communication and responsiveness. People oriented vs. being a number. Capable product at reasonable cost vs. Cloudbeds.

Cons

Minor issue - would be good to get itinerary of onboarding process/training ahead of time

Overall, support had been very good and responsive. Appreciate having a single company that provides PMS, integrated cc processing, and eMarketing/website design.

Pros

Dashboard, occupancy map, and integrated credit card processing.

Cons

Still some reporting features missing. Editor for email templates not very user friendly, not wysiwyg. No email integration or ability to do attachments to email.

We really enjoy the personalized customer support and fast response times from real human beings.

Pros

Ease of use, intuitive design, and excellent customer support.

Cons

Sometimes it lacks a functionality that seems obvious, like being able to add a promotion related to Gift Certificate purchases. They are fairly quick to implement changes when they're asked for.

Wish we could let groups make reservations more easily without all recreating the wheel everytime.

### "rezStream has been great for our business."

With the exception of the credit card information issues, our experience with rezStream has been awesome. I love the fact that we can call a phone number for technical support and talk with someone knowledgeable with no language barriers. They always resolve any issues we have.

Pros

We have used rezStream for years. Several years ago we switched over to the cloudbased system. Our database was transferred to the new system and we have been on it ever since. The cloud based system is expensive, but it is much safer because the data is stored in the cloud and we don't have to worry about backing up our system any longer.

Cons

I like the fact that it integrates with Booking.com and Expedia and that works pretty well. The part that I HATE about rezStream is the credit card part. We have to pay a separate fee for a service to store the credit card information for the reservations from the 3rd party booking sites like Expedia and Booking.com. We also have to pay for storing the credit cards on the reservations that we book over the phone and the ones that are booked on our rezStream site. It is expensive and complicated to extract those numbers if the customers do not pay in person. The required cvv codes are only stored for a short time and many times when we need to use the information it has already disappeared, making the credit card information useless. There are also authentication codes that must be sent each time trying to log onto the credit card storage programs. They are sent to my cell phone. If I am not in the office, I have to try to reach my staff to give them the code before it expires. It is a huge pain in the rear. It is so inconvenient that I have considered dropping the bookings from the 3rd party sites altogether. Between the fees from those sites, the fees for storing card information and the charges we miss due to missing credit card information, I am not at all certain it is worth it. There absolutely has to be a better way to handle the credit card information.

### "RezStream takes good care of our small business "

RezStream has the heart of a small business too. We feel like they're an integral part of our business, part of our team. We're very satisfied customers.

Pros

Ours is a mom and pop shop. Whenever we have a question or need, we email support and get almost immediate response. (They're in Colorado, nice over the phone.)

Cons

Wanting to analyze past time periods, we have not found their "Reports" to work well. But our business is unique in some ways.

### "Efficient and Effective!"

Pros

That it is easy to use and understand at any skill level. It is also fast and efficient, not just in actual loading speeds, but in user function as well. The online reservation system has done wonders for our occupancy and our office staff efficiency.

Cons

I would like there to be a little more customization/options surrounding the POS items and room add-ons. I would also like for these items to be added in the booking process inside their own menu to complete the reservation.

I was brought into the company with RezStream in place and no one to show me how to use it. I sat down with the computer and was navigating the site with success within 15 minutes. Very user friendly!

Pros

I can train my employees on how to effectively use RezStream in just one day. It is so user friendly and when I do run into problems, the customer service has been outstanding!

Cons

Can't think of anything that I don't like about it!

This company is the very best in this platform. I could not imagine ever using another Property management Software. That would be really stupid, being an American based company is priceless..

Pros

The customer support being based in Denver is the best. Same day resolution to any issue that comes up.

Cons

The change to the cloud was a bit tricky, would never go back. There is really no downside to Rezstream.

We are pleased with rezStream and have no plans on switching.

Pros

We are a 27 room lodge in the mountains of NC and I am the Guest Services Manager. RezStream was in place when I arrived here two years ago. It took me awhile to get the hang of it (I've never been in the hospitality industry), but now find it easy to navigate. The customer service folks are responsive and helpful.

Cons

No big cons, but then again, I do not have anything to compare rezStream to.

We upgraded from Rezstream Professional to Rezstream Cloud and it's really nice! we can access it from any location as it is web based, so if I need to check something while working at home; no problem. The occupancy map is our starting point and it gives us a clear overview who is staying where; if you want to see specifics on one of your guests; just click on the booking and all information that you need is there. The colors in the occupancy map show right away the status of payments, and it's really simple to block out time frames for maintenance or other activities. And of course, all that you do in the occupancy map immediately reflects in the online booking engine, no additional steps needed. The reports section of Rezstream Cloud is great; it gives us a lot of information at any given moment. You can customize the system to best fit your business model, you can easily add and remove units, change pricing, etc. I feel the system is very user-friendly. The letter templates and scheduled email system sending out thank you notes and payment reminders take a lot of time on our hands. We are located in the Caribbean and rent private homes, Rezstream Cloud makes our lives easier to keep the overview and processes running.

Pros

User-friendly, safe, lots of possibilities to customize. occupancy map shows availability and blocks very efficiently Communicates without issues with the booking engine and also here you can adapt things to fit your business model

Cons

That it takes a few clicks before getting to the notes of the guest; where special requests or specifics are located. it would be nice to see this information 'earlier'

Fantastic. I have used 3 others and by far it stands out. Other sites are endless transfers to other departments or no response.

Pros

The platform is easy to manage and use. The customer service is outstanding!

Cons

Just hard to change reservations once made. You have to find just the right screen.

### "Best Fit for our Motel"

We have been writing reservations down in a binder. This is a labor intensive process which involves speaking with potential guests on the phone and interacting online through emails. Many times these interactions don't result in a booking because they are just checking availability. Having rezStream manage online reservations frees up time for us to work on other areas of our business.

Pros

We interviewed several different online reservation companies before going with rezStream. We felt they were the best fit for us because we liked the software the best. Also very important to us is that they are very professional, organized, helpful during each stage of the process and eager to make sure we are happy with their services.

Cons

I really like the software! I can't think of anything I would change.

It’s Been good because it eliminates the stress of double bookings.

Pros

Happy customer…Using restream eliminated double bookings at our very small B&B.

Cons

It’s just another little expense out of our operating budget but that’s not Restreams problem. It seems like everybody gets a little tiny piece of the profit, but I guess that’s the cost of doing business.
