The software really meets our needs and the support is great. We even have them hosting our website now and could not be more pleased.

Pros

Their reservation software has been a tremendous improvement to our daily operational processes. The ease of creating bookings, running reports and sending communications is wonderful. The ability for guests to book their own reservations online has been a big win too.

Cons

We would love an integration with Quickbooks. The expanded reporting is good and we appreciate that they continue to make improvements and welcome user requests.

I have enjoyed my experience with rezStream and appreciate all the upgrades being made. Each season finds new improvemnets with the RezStream Team working hard!

Pros

Ease of use and support staff. Whenever we have a question or concern, staff at RezStream is easy to reach and most often figure out our issue while we are on the phone with the tech. I appreciate that support staff is available so readily.

Cons

I have trouble at times, figuring out loading rates and seasons. It can be a bit difficult for me. I will say that support staff is always available to troubleshoot and answer my questions. I find most of RezStream easy to navigate.

Pros

Their Customer Support is above and beyond. Very responsive and always able to provide a solution to any issue or question.

Cons

Sales report that displayed pie charts does not exist anymore. That was very helpful for my sales meetings. It would be great to get the pie/bar charts back.

Overall, my experience with rezStream was positive. The system was reliable, easy to learn, and helped streamline our day-to-day operations—from managing reservations to handling guest communications. Their customer support was also a strong point—always prompt and helpful. While there were a few limitations in terms of customization and integrations, it served our small property well and improved efficiency.

Pros

Its Very efficient! What I liked most about rezStream was how intuitive and user-friendly the system was. It made daily tasks like reservations, check-ins, and reporting much smoother. The support team was also incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we had questions or needed assistance

Cons

Can't add a pet fee to Reservation as a new booking. While rezStream was generally very effective, there were a few limitations—especially in customization options for reports and guest communications. Some features felt a bit rigid, and it would have been helpful to have more flexibility or integrations with other tools we use regularly.

I have been using rezStream for 6 years now and I have always had my questions answered quickly and had ease of use with this platform. I have never had a issue and the updated add on like direct payments and connections to VRBO and booking.com are great!

Pros

I have been using rezStream for about 6 years now and I love the ease of use, the layout, the abilities to control certain aspects of reservations. Overall this is the best platform that I have used for our cabin rentals.

Cons

I least liked figuring out separating group reservations. I wish there was a easier way to get someone completely separate.

We don’t use all channels but I had a very easy onboarding experience. The system is very easy to use.

Pros

Customer support was amazing! Their responses are always fast and explain everything clearly and in detail. If chat isn’t available, all emails were answered within minutes. Very kind and knowledgeable support team.

Cons

Customers with multiple email addresses often have multiple profiles which gets confusing with our repeat guests.

Pros

We have been very pleased with RezStream ever since we found them at a trade show. They walked us through all the things we did not understand and have been kind when we are unsure of how it all works. They are always available to answer questions and help. They were willing to work with us to make it "ours" rather than forcing us to change the way we do business.

Cons

We do not have a con. All of our experiences have been good.

Reason for choosing rezStream

Because of the great care they took to explain the product, work with us to get it up and going and the ability to customize it to our needs. We recently switched to their payment process also and it works well.

### "Switching from Cloudbeds to rezStream"

People/company seem to care. Only early in the relationship but seem to be reliable and honest. Cloudbeds billing and customer service poor and inept.

Pros

Communication and responsiveness. People oriented vs. being a number. Capable product at reasonable cost vs. Cloudbeds.

Cons

Minor issue - would be good to get itinerary of onboarding process/training ahead of time

Clarity, functionality, feels good to use it, user friendly, colors are soothing, everything is self explanatory and thought through.

Cons

When using a reservation map the color pallet is too bright on my taste. Softer color pallet would be nicer to the eye.

### "Excellent Property Management System and Company"

The program is very user friendly, easy to teach newbies, and we especially like the custom color coding which shows us just by looking at the calendar who is gluten free, who’s bringing a pet (one of our inns is pet friendly), who’s checking in late, etc. – a feature I did not find in any other program that I looked at. The interface of the booking calendar is very straight forward. You just click on a reservation and immediately a box pops up on the right with all of the reservation info. Notes are easily accessible, and it keeps a running history page on each guest that tells you when they stayed with you and what room or suite they stayed in. These are all features that assist us in providing our guests with excellent customer service.

Pros

We have two small hotels totaling 30 rooms and suites. I used Rezstream's software program when I started in this business 15 years ago; left them a few years later because they did not have their cloud-based system up and running yet. Have used several others and researched many since then and came back to Rezstream and so happy I did.

Cons

When you try to print out a report the font size comes out miniscule.

### "Rezstream - move from Desktop version to Cloud version"

Overall, very happy with the product and the service. Follow up from tech staff is quick and efficient.

Pros

Rezstream Cloud is fast and easy to navigate. The functions are straight forward and comprehensive. There are many new options the old desktop version did not have. As reluctant as I was, after having used the Rezstream desktop version for 13 years, I am finding I really like the cloud version. I also like that I can access the software from all of my devices, quickly and efficiently making reservations and completing tasks from anywhere.

Cons

The only issues I have had are with the printouts of the reports. But most importantly, the occupancy map. This is a printout our entire staff uses every day. The old print was clear and easy to read. The new is not. If I could change one thing, it would be that.

Reason for choosing rezStream

Because I had used Rezstream for many years and didn't want to move. I loved the desktop version and was hesitant to move to the cloud. When the announcement was made that the desktop version would no longer be supported as of December 2022, it was time to make a decision. Immediately the answer was to stay with Rezstream and learn the new system.

### "Rezstream at the beach!"

I've always had an excellent business experience with the team. I've been a customer for 21 years! I do not remember a negative exchange. The team is always there to help when needed. The product is great and the price is right.

Pros

I've used it since 2000 - way before the cloud. Managed a ski resort at that time with lodging. When I moved to the beach, signed us up here. Really LOVED the old restream. We upgraded after Hurricane Harvey and learned to work with the cloud version. The product does what we need it to do and the sales and support team there are very open to suggestions for updates and new features if we need something. We LOVE the credit card integration! That was a game changer at our property!

Cons

Sometimes there is a long wait for reports to load and I miss some of the old reports. We've learned to work with this. I've been told the slowness is due to our internet, but I have loading problems even when we have full strength bandwidth coming in. Should be faster, in my opinion.

I've been approached by MANY property management software companies to change, but we've been happy enough with Rezstream not to consider too many of them.

RezStream has been with us through our entire set up & use. Quick to provide answers, help, & knowledge to better the system for us. They strive to provide the best and are constantly working to give us new features & improvements that we did even know we needed.

Pros

Ease of set up & use. Customer service is top notch. The company takes the time to listen to the needs of their clients and work diligently to add improvements & new features!

Cons

Our only complaint is to use the credit card processing payment through this cloud based platform is to use Shift4 as gateway to merchant services account. Shift4 is not even close to the level of customer service and ease of use that RezStream customers are used to.

Pros

I am not very computer-savvy, so I dread the initial processes involved in setting up a new program. rezStream was so much easier than expected. When I had/have questions, they have always been prompt and professional with their response(s). They have been stable and consistent, and they continue to help teach and resolve when I need it. I have not had technical issues; rezStream is always there when I need to use it...VERY important! And it's easy to navigate for me in the background and for our Guests that reserve.

Cons

If there is anything that needs improving, it is probably a user-issue, not a rezStream-issue.

Ease of use, ability to see needs on the main screen, ease to train new staff and limit their areas to view or alter information. The size of the company allows it to be very responsive to needs.

Flexibility in some reporting for staff - they are very good to work with however and are working on developing new areas and updates.

### "Streamlined & saves us tons of time!!"

LOVE RezStream and everyone that I've worked with!! \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is 'down to earth' and gets back to me right away. Same with customer support - they always get back to me right away if I have a question or issue.

Pros

We love the integration with the online calendar, the booking engine, and the software! It saves us so much time not having to manually enter in reservations and then manually updating the availability calendar.

Cons

I would like to see some type of integration with accounting software. Even if it's an Excel format that can be imported into accounting software.

Reason for choosing rezStream

When we purchased the resort 8 years ago, the previous owners already had RezStream in place. Upon purchasing the resort, I did look into a few other programs but they were either more expensive and/or did not provide the level of functionality that RezStream offered. RezStream also seemed to be a company that was structured for growth and sustainability.

### "Efficient and Effective!"

Pros

That it is easy to use and understand at any skill level. It is also fast and efficient, not just in actual loading speeds, but in user function as well. The online reservation system has done wonders for our occupancy and our office staff efficiency.

Cons

I would like there to be a little more customization/options surrounding the POS items and room add-ons. I would also like for these items to be added in the booking process inside their own menu to complete the reservation.

Cons

The only thing I don't like - but this may be user error - is that I have to look at the person to see their arrival time. It would be great if that was visible on the dashboard. I will mention that also directly to them

I was brought into the company with RezStream in place and no one to show me how to use it. I sat down with the computer and was navigating the site with success within 15 minutes. Very user friendly!

Pros

I can train my employees on how to effectively use RezStream in just one day. It is so user friendly and when I do run into problems, the customer service has been outstanding!

Cons

Can't think of anything that I don't like about it!

It allows us to quickly respond to booking requests. We rely on this product to manage the activities of our inn on a daily, and even minute to minute, basis. New employees find it easy to learn.

Pros

Rezstream was so easy to integrate with our booking and billing procedures. The set up was made with little fuss or bother because of the support from Rezstream in the process.
