Pros: They are supposed to have a lot of good features. However, there are so many things that don't work correctly that there isn't much I do like.

Cons: They lied to us about whether we could keep our existing merchant account. After the fact, when we were required to convert to theirs, they told us they would pay us the termination fee for the other merchant.
They also have very cumbersome features such as not being able to easily change a lunch break, and very small fields for notes, and notes can't be recurring. In addition, there are things that just never work correctly, like online booking, or whether the system will capture credit cards. When we call about these things not working, we just get an "Oh, well" and we are always told they are working on it. But these are not small things, and they impact our business in a huge way.

Overall: Terrible software - stay away! Much better systems out there.

Pros: The whole package from MindBody starting with interactions with their sales team to the implementation is very polished (and scripted) and that makes keeping to a schedule easy. The software has many plugins and features which we wanted to have in our gym. Going through Mindbody for payments, door access, and a few other features is a tad on the pricey side but we wanted a one-stop shop for daily operations and we got everything we wanted from them.

Cons: The software is not as intuitive as I would like and especially not intuitive for first-time users. We have had to come up with run books and documents ourselves to walk new employees through the process. While the monthly fees for MindBody aren't expensive, all the extras that you tack on do drive up the initial price (credit card scanners, iPad integrations, door access controls through a 3rd party). And as mentioned above, the staff at Mindbody go on a very well rehearsed script through implementation and any deviation from that script is met with a need to go through their support or pay for more time with the implementation team.

From a user standpoint, it's not the easiest software to use.

Pros: I like that if I have an issue it can usually easily be fixed by an instructor or someone who has instructor access. Logging in for classes is easy and quick.

Cons: The app isn't very easy to use if you want to check your account balance and purchasing things isn't very easy either. You can find everything if you log in on a desktop but even then, the interface isn't the easiest to use.

Pros: Easy to use, user friendly, haven¿t had any glitches in the system. Lots of functionality in terms of selling packages, running payroll, scheduling staff/clients. Reporting section is great with lost of up to date info

Cons: Wish we could customize emails and texts a little more to use and our full property management system

Pros: Everything. It's almost an all-in-one. We use it for scheduling, inventory, cashier, and online store services. Love it and whenever there's an issue, call their customer service- they are extremely helpful!

Cons: There are some bugs (very minor and rare occurrences) that happen. We report them but they're not always fixed, most likely because they don't come up often- but they should still be addressed.

Overall: Organization and ease of day-to-day business operations.

Comments: I love this software. The people are super nice and easy to work with. I use this to run my medical practice. Much easier and cheaper than using a traditional medical billing software application.

Pros: Handles a wide variety of tasks including scheduling, contracts, billing, commissions, reporting, time sheets, and client communications.

Cons: The CRM UI is a little "cludgey". It's hard to view purchases and contracts easily for clients. Integrates easily into your website for appointment scheduling and product purchasing but is very hard to customize fonts.

Used this through my gym, while it took a bit to get the hang of, I did eventually enjoy using it.

Pros: I liked the ability to input various tasks into the scheduling outside of my normal appointments so that I wouldn't accidentally double-book myself.

Cons: The system was hard to figure out at first and took a lot of time trying to figure out all the features.

Pros: The customer support was really good. That's about all I can say good about this one! Anytime I needed to ask a question, they were always willing to walk me through the technical side of the website.

Cons: They have a ton of integration with other apps, so, for every tiny little thing extra, you have to pay extra. It's super expensive for what it does. It's tough to learn, and I am super technical. So, if I had trouble with it, the typical business owner will too. Way overpriced!

Pros: I like that this software has a lot of functionality. i can tell that it can work for many different business models.

Cons: There is almost too much functionality that certain things such as creating a workshop or payment plans can become very tedious making a lot of things prone to many mistakes.

Overall: it is our point of sale software.

Pros: I loved the ease of use and the features. The platform is very visually appealing and helps you effectively manage your business

Cons: I hate that this product is so overpriced. They have several packages that they use to reel you in however all the features that they use to sell you are in the most expensive overpriced packages

Pros: Great reports, Tracks a lot of KPI's for a business, Easy to bill and set up auto pay, support has been helpful most times except when it comes to billing and feature issues.

Cons: To many bells and whistles that are not needed but you pay for, don't work with you well even as a loyal customer, jumped their prices 2x within a short period of time, force you into higher levels of membership by restricting reports you are used to. Overall unhappy with how they treat customers with their last membership level changes and had zero solutions to help you out.

Overall: we've used it for 5 plus years but unfortunately as they grew their vision changed and kept increasing prices rapidly. Not very solution oriented for customers who have been loyal. Last conversation we had with them felt more of a FU message and nothing could be done. They took features away that we have been using for years and forced us up to the next membership level to get them back.

Pros: Scheduling, managing locations, search and export, POS features like collecting CC payments, recurring appointments.

Cons: Packages are very complicated. Difficult to move money around to different accounts. Would love to be able to toggle different locations without logging in and out. Wish for better integrations with other software. Cancelling feature is over zealous sometimes.

Overall: Scheduling and POS to manage a coworking space.

It was frustrating to say the least. Accounting and backside reporting needs work.

Pros: Scheduling was a snap and the reminders were very nice for the clients. Scheduling multiple practitioners was a bit more difficult unless you were using the mobile app.

Cons: Backside reporting and accounting was complicated and the tracking is individual payments and visits sometimes did not make sense. This is not a software appropriate for a medical /physical therapy practice as we had hoped it would be.

Overall: Ease of scheduling.

Cons: Takes forever to set up. Trying to figure out the different technical terms that are being used is difficult. They are trying to cater to many different business types and for that reason this software is pretty bloated with things that either don't make sense to us or are not relevant to us. It's also waaay to expensive and they don't offer a trial period.

Costs have been raised twice in the 3 years without adding functionality promised.

Pros: Able to sell memberships online. Able to run several reports for example Payroll and sales. Able to monitor check ins to determine who is using the club and when.

Cons: Cannot take member photos at sign up without having to upload, download, etc. Should be able to take new member photos from camera through computer at front desk like every other gym software available. Cannot separate arrival to gym and tanning arrival making our tanning memberships not work correctly. Again, promised a different functionality by their salesperson. Should have been able to sell a package of 10 tanning sessions and have them taken off per tan. Instead the tanning session is "stolen" from the system as soon as member checks into the gym. Very disappointed in this company overall.

Cons: There are a couple of features that don't work on the desktop version, only on the mobile version (i.e., making a change to just one instance of a recurring block).

Pros: The software is easy to use, integrates with many other programs such as constant contact and has a lot of functionality such as scheduling, marketing, reporting.

Cons: The price can be a con for smaller size business. The other con is how long it can take to reach customer service when you have a questions or issue.

Overall: Excellent solution for yoga studios, wellness medical practices etc.

Pros: Options to track accounts and clients based on different variables.
Easy of use and navigation.
Ability to customize to get where I need quicker.
Customer service reps always willing to help.

Cons: Seems to glitch a lot. I have had quite a few weird payment errors that even the back end has a hard time figuring out a solid explanation to what happened.
Updates creating changes without notice.

Overall: It is pretty simple and is very easy to use. I work through 24 separate sites to complete my tasks daily. Being able to keep a steady streamline similarity through all variations of the site makes my job a lot easier.

Pros: Mindbody offers a lot of options for a gym, yoga studio, etc. The mobile app works well and is easy to navigate.

Cons: Scheduling workshops and events could be handled a lot easier. For example, if a workshop starts at noon, you have to add it for 11:55 or 12:15, then go back to change it to 12:00. Makes no sense.

Comments: I think they are too big and can't handle their growth. I started with Mindbody in 2008, and loved it. However over the past 5 years the service and quality has deteriorated to the point where it's painful to try to reach anyone for help. I had to finally call it quits when they more than doubled my rate this month with less than 30 day notice, and even reaching someone to cancel my account was difficult. Good luck to anyone who wants to to try them out. I think there's better options these days. I certainly found one.

Pros: Nice user interface, easy to use once it's set up, easy for client to schedule online, graphics are pleasing.

Cons: Price keeps rising and customer support keeps going downhill. Hold times are impossible, the app continues to be semi-useful, they have failed to integrate decent EHR, very difficult to get help even when you want to close your account. .

Increased my fee or adding features I don't use. Horrible company

Pros: On the user end, mindbody is very simple to use both on the phone app and on the desktop. In seconds, you view availability at locations for various class times and sign up for classes.

Cons: Although super friendly and streamline on the customer end (reserving classes), the set-up end for the business can be a bit of a learning curve. It would be nice if the back end would be as simple to work as the front end.

Overall: Very simple and easy to use on the consumer end for class schedule and reservation

Pros: The simplicity of the software is nice but that's about it. I could spend all day on the cons if I wanted.

Cons: Reports are inaccurate and inconsistent.
"Retail" can be very difficult.
Support is TERRIBLE! When the consumer knows the answers to the questions before the support staff its not a good thing... which is common.
If you ever get an account person and choose to go on your own they act like you never existed because you pay less money.

Pros: They do personalized apps that are cool for branding purposes. They seem to do a lot of brand marketing for their company, so they out shine other companies:/

Cons: They have branded apps, but the limitations on what you can do, make it useless.

There are a few things I don't like about this company, but for business owners, you should know that they do subscription increases often. I have been with MB since May 2016.

Pros: The Mindbody system is a wonderful software that allows you easy access to clients as well as setting up session times or dates. All of our clients that use it love how easy it is to book online.

Cons: Retail is very specific when it comes to searching. If you don't enter in the exact product name or the product's number then it will not pop up.

Pros: It keeps on giving. It is a lot of training. My favorite is the knowledgeable customer service. Their insight and patience are so completly appreciated.

Overall: I quit 5 different apps and now use just this one and save about $100 per month.

Pros: It provides you with at least some type of software. They promote themselves pretty well, which makes them more known.

Cons: They overrate themselves, as the software does not have as much capability as they say, in several areas. Too expensive or can become that way, in order to have all the features you need, because you have to hire additional entities to get certain features that are not included. We now have a software with just about everything included in the pricing. MB's pricing increases quite often. I did not appreciate that in the beginning when training with them, they don't tell you how many limited hours they give you and are actually monitoring, but in the long run, they tell you how much of their time you've taken up, when you never knew there was a limit or that you were being monitored. The whole time they're telling you it's okay, you're fine, we'll give you as much time as you need. In the long run, they used this against me. Had they told me this info from the start, I would have hesitated or been more stingy in asking my questions and reaching out for assistance. I finally left MB when I had an unprofessional experience wherein I was mistakenly included in an interoffice email wherein they said some false, mean-spirited ' unprofessional things about me. That was the final straw. I am much happier now with my current software provider.

Pros: This software company has been around a while so there is a lot you can do with it. But, it's not user-friendly, at all, and the customer service got worse and worse over the years. They have also raised prices every year and priced me out of using them.

Cons: As stated above, the cost became ridiculous for what they provided. Over the years, they started to charge extra for every feature that most software companies include. They also had terrible customer service. Sometimes we waiting on hold for over an hour and often the person on the other end couldn't help us.

Comments: It is very good for the spa and massage industry!

Pros: Mindbody is great to really enhance the inventory levels at the Spa I managed. It took us from paper and helped us manage inventory and ordering. Made it so much easier for our therapists to see their own schedules and alter them if they needed to.

Cons: Set up can take a while, although support was always helpful. Importing information was a project and took a while of course!

Software gets the basic job done for what we need but could be better.

Pros: I like that it is web based so I can access it no matter what location I am at and schedule for multiple locations no matter my physical location.

Cons: The customer service is not good at all. No one seems to be able to help our clinic use the software according to how we need it to work. And they are not very good at explaining features to us, understanding what our office does and then helping us to see how these features could benefit us.

Pros: I have worked with this software via Elements Therapeutic back in the early days and currently with my PT studio space @ Pro Sports Performance.

Cons: I just called them to ask about the price, for solo practitioners, that I was quoted a couple of years ago. I was told they only start at some price are no longer catering to the small shop business. Only to big box businesses. Sad but an unfortunate reality.

Comments: Simple, handy app.

Pros: I can schedule appointments with clients from my MindBody app on my cell phone, which is then synchronized to the schedule at the site. The saves me the trouble of having to communicate to other staff about scheduling and allows for the site staff to be aware of the place/time I plan to meet with a client.

Cons: It is not easy to add a new client to the system using the phone app, so if someone is not already in the database, there is limited information you can input from your phone.

Excellent product. Multi-faceted.

Pros: Reporting and ease of use. The software is user-friendly. We have never had a staff member who could not learn this system quickly.

MindBody is my primary software for scheduling my clients and processing their billing.

Pros: It's a simple design that allows me to quickly add a new clients and update all their information as necessary. It's great to have both an appointment scheduler and a payment processer in one software.

Cons: Processing each session can take awhile, especially if there are 10+ sessions in a single day. It would be great to process multiple sessions at once.

Cons: It can be bothersome to render each individual session rather than being able to do a day's worth of sessions all at once. Just time consuming.

Pros: Their tech support is pretty good at helping you with what you need. (there are a bunch of features to sift through and it can very daunting and confusing.)

Cons: too many excess features for their price packaging. It took a very long time to learn how to get my website up and running and able to use with my clients. i paid for 7 months before i could actually use the software in my business checking in and out clients and taking payments because it took so long to get everything input and get it working the way I needed it. We had to find a work around for almost everything I needed to program the system to do for my business.

Overall: i learned what i needed most out of a software like this, and can now shop around for a better price somewhere else.

Pros: I love that I can keep track of yoga, poling, kickboxing and what not in one place. I also love how I can explore new activities I may want to look into. I always recommend this app to friends and family.

Cons: Sometimes the app is a touch slow (but the great design makes up for it). It can create a bit of annoyance when you are on the go.

Overall: Great app to keep track of all of your recreational activities in one place!

Pros: They have a lot of useful features which work most of the time. I like that I can access information through their app, though a properly adaptive website would be better.

Cons: Several basic features simply do not work, or the options to get them to work are burried away.
Tech support takes days or weeks to respond. Phone ' chat lines have had HOURS wait times for the past year. It was better a few years ago.
Prices have gone up /yr the past few years, with less than a months notice!

Overall: It runs most aspects of our business.

Mindbody is hip and trendy, and a good solution for class-model businesses

Pros: Mindbody was simple to implement on our team, and covered many of the necessary functions we were looking for in a salon software. Our team especially like the user interface, and the app available to team and customers.

Cons: Unfortunately, Mindbody was not able to handle the commission structures which we needed to implement in our salon, and this made it impossible to properly track costs and payroll through the system.

Pros: I really liked Mindbody for a time. We were pretty in deep with them. Used a ton of their services. They have great reports.

Cons: With the pricing being in USD and us being in Canada, the exchange rate makes it unaffordable. but the client interaction side needs to be updated.

Overall: If you have clients who just have their own account, then it's great for business. If you have clients who have dependants, it makes the client side confusing.

Pros: Works fine as long as you never have to call support. It is hit or miss whether you will get someone helpful or anyone to answer at all.

Cons: I wish I could give no stars. I¿ve been using MindBody for almost 5 years. Their customer service is absolutely abysmal. I¿ve called 4 times this week(hold time of 45 to an hour each time¿and their ¿call back¿ feature never actually calls you back) about the same issue. My class schedule is not showing to customers so they cannot book classes. This is a very basic function and should not have issues. Would not recommend to my worst enemy because of their non-existent customer service.

Pros: The software is pretty easy to use, straight forward. If you have basic need, I think it's an ok tool. It used to be reasonably price till they doubled their membership. I decided to downgrade my membership to the cheapest as customer service is not up to speed.

Cons: The customer service has been on a downward spiral for 2 years now. If you have a problem, chances are you're gonna have this problem forever.
Customer service does not understand what you need or sometime they do understand and instead of telling that it's not possible to get a resolution they will try to make you word on detour and waste your time.
Oh, they will definitely ask you to restart your computer... Seriously ?
Wasted hours on the phone with them.
Most funny thing is that they are pretty happy of themselves, they will end the conversation saying that they were happy to resolve your issue.. Ahem, don't tell them it did not get resolve or spend another 30min trying to make them understand your need...

Overall: Easy to use, unhelpful customer service

Pros: I like that this software searches for deals near my location. This allows me to get the best prices for my work out classes! It is convenient that the software remembers my credit card so I don't have to search for my wallet every time I want to make a purchase. I also like that I can save certain businesses as my favorites to make it easier to find them next time. I overall like the ease of this software!

Pros: Good scheduler, liked the phone app, liked the features, that's about it. Not too many pros when you pay the amount of money lower costing apps are charging for the same product.

Cons: Very expensive and it takes an arm and leg to make any business changes. When your month is up make sure you get all your schedule/client information because they will lock you out completely and make you submit all this information through email just to see your schedule again. To change bank deposit information you have to go through an insane paperwork process and get charged 100 dollars.

Cons: What I like least about this software it's that it's down a lot of the times. Then when I call customer service the people attending me don't seem to know what is going on. On top of that there are days where you get rude customer service. That is frustrating when you're not paying pennies to get this type of service. Also have not been able to get the things that I sell in my store in the system because from what customer service said I need to purchase an actual computer to get all my products in. That is actually very inconvenient went out my Center everything is done through iPads. As a business owner you do not have 45 minutes to wait on line to get help when your system is down and it is not once in awhile it is very often most of the time I end up hanging up and figuring it out myself don't have that type of time to waste.

Pros: Straightforward, simple to use for both user and client. Mind Body is a great way to let your clients see your availability without having to go through it over the phone. Customize for days off, holidays or short days!

Pros: This company has plenty of professional employees who all were very helpful if you are in need of any assistance. Mindbody also offers training courses free of charge, which I found helpful. Customer services were great, which to me, is one of the most important features of a business!

Cons: While I found nothing wrong with this scheduling company, still, I found it a little pricey (was I going to keep going after my three months trial period).

Pros: I've been using it for about 2.5 years now and I have a barbershop. This software is very versatile, and you can customize it to your business' needs. When there is an issue, customer service is the best by far from any other competing company.

Cons: One major downside is their Merchant Services are way too expensive compared to Chase, or Global Payments, or other big merchant services companies. They also do not allow to sync the software to other merchant services besides their own. Crashes in regular basis. Although not often, but when it crashes, sometimes have to wait which is an inconvenience.

Comments: Coming from a practice with many different services, it would be really useful to have different tabs in the documents section that were specific to the specialties. IE have a physical therapy tab for X rays, outcome measures or referrals, and a personal training tab for body comp results.

Pros: Able to schedule physical therapy, personal training, massage therapy and manage group fitness classes and group personal training.

Cons: From a physical therapist standpoint, the SOAP note functional is virtually unusable. Unable to track many key aspects of physical therapy practice (visit number for specific diagnoses, approved visits from the insurance company, approved visits via direct access). We have sought out other services to try to solve this i.e. QuickerNotes without much luck and have ended up taking PT notes completely out of MindBody and in google docs. One of the main features that would help with this would be the ability to export SOAP notes as a pdf as many of our notes need to be sent to insurance companies and physicians. The current system should involve copying and pasting each individual SOAP box and re-formatting, which is incredibly time consuming. The ability to track visit numbers for a specific diagnosis would be incredible and the ability to program in visit limits to stop patients from being able to schedule PT online until visits were approved via insurance of physician signature on plan of care would really set MINDBody online above all other competitors for multi-discipline practices.

Pros: Clearly able to schedule and sync with Google Calendar. Able to adjust the calendar without many odd steps. Easy to manipulate scheduled sessions and breaks without having to leave the calendar screen. Easy to program in billing and contract settings.

Cons: Can be a little messy when looking at some pages. Very many different buttons to try and use at times.

Overall: Able to schedule and bill clients with ease. Also able to view the calendar from other apps.

Pros: MBO is far more than a software provider. They are my strategic business partner. They keep me current on all the technological advancements available in the market through ongoing development in the software. As well as provide the research/data analysis which helps me make sound business decisions regarding my future growth and profitability.
My favorite feature is the ease of setting up the reoccurring revenue via auto pay monthly membership contracts. The other two powerful resources I use are the automated emails, retention/re-engage email marketing, and all the reporting capabilities. The day to day use of class check-in, retail sales, client account management are all features I like.
Finally, the primary reason, and the one which has earned MBO the strategic partner status within my organization is summed up in on simple word support. Their world class team of dedicated technical support staff are available 24/7/365 to answer my questions, provide information and will take all the time necessary to help me resolve anything I need.
The support doesn't end with the technical. Through the MINDBODY University program I've learned best practices, how to use the reports to build my sales and marketing strategies and to set my business goals. The MBU video tutorial liberty provides additional information on a variety of topics right from my desktop.

MINDBODY is far more than a software provider, they are my teammates! My success is their success. Period.

Cons: Like any partnership, there are always imperfections and areas of improvement. If I could wave a magic wand and all my wishes were granted, then this is what I would wish:
a more robust set of auto email options
more content for the retention and re-engage emails
more functionality related to inventory
the ability of change contract start dates after the contract has been activated

That's about it. There are other, small quirks which can be annoying at times, but then again, nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement in any relationship.

We have used mindbody for 6 years at three properties. Like all software it has it's pros and cons

Pros: I like all of the ideas and innovation. It just seems as though the actual execution of those new ideas hasn't been fully thought through.

Cons: the amount of time it take to get to technical support and the number of items that have just simply not been resolved. Particularly for spas/appointments. it seems very class and membership focused.

Pros: That it does everything on one site! I can book appts, keep records on clients, run reports on services, products, staff and clients in a variety of forms for different needs to monitor and grow my business. As well as manage inventory and perform retail checkouts.

Cons: I would love to see it have a little better function for the Spa industry and appt based businesses. Along with better reports for individual therapists and growth, essentially KPI on employees.

Overall: It is my right hand woman in running my business. MINDBODY ONLINE has contributed to the tremendous growth of Yoso Wellness Spa and managing a business on the backend.

Pros: Love the credit card auto-pay. The self check-in is a real time saver too. I like the business app. my staff can check attendance and i can monitor remotely.

Cons: Not always easy for my clients to navigate at home. Takes awhile to train my staff. My biggest problem is with linking clients. I have mostly children as clients, so aconnecting them with their parents is cumbersome.

Easy to learn, difficulty with functionality at times immediately following updates.

Pros: It is really all in one, and we love having multiple platforms available. However, we probably love the fact that MB is always ahead of the trend in introducing concepts like dynamic pricing, more than we like the actual software at this point in time.

Cons: Payroll & reporting in general- it is clunky and time consuming to navigate. Payroll is very outdated and would be helpful if it were structured similar to payroll reporting like that in the retail industry. Proper timekeeping will become increasingly important as boutique studios find success and expand into multi-location. Corporations are often targeted with labor lawsuits, and as it is set, payroll is not effective. Also, a more effective P&L report with up to date cash flow would be a bonus.

We LOVE everything mobile!!! More please! However, sometimes mobile software is so well written that it overrides the desktop version or branded app functionality.

Cons: It is not an accounting or bookkeeping replacement by any means. Know your accounting before hand or get help.

Pros: It's very comprehensive, has lots of tools and is able to accommodate everything fitness business or gym would need to run the scheduling from the mind body software.

Cons: I'm a one-person fitness trainer, and mind body was way more than I needed and way too expensive for me to justify the price. I wish they had an option for smaller companies to provide them value and deliver just what small businesses need, and not everything that a big company needs.

This app has made class scheduling simple and convenient.

Pros: Scheduling is easy in the app. I love that you can save your favorite studios and your packages are quickly synced.

Cons: I wish you could review multiple studios' schedules at once. Sometimes it is frustrating to have to go back to favorites to look at multiple locations to find which has the best class option for me.

Overall: It's easy to reserve your spot in a class ahead of time.

I love MBO and have been using it since we opened our yoga studio doors in 2009!

Pros: The ease and that it is one place that does everything! We loved the BOLD conference this year. Our clients find MBO easy to navigate

Cons: How long I have to wait to talk to tech help--I used to be able to talk to someone quickly but in the past year I often have to wait 20-30mins. If I request a call back it usually takes hours.

Well thought out platform that makes it easy and clear to schedule classes and clients.

Pros: I appreciate that you can do everything you need to run a business with one software tool! Scheduling, billing, automated reminders, inventory and retail are all in one software package. I own a music school and I need accurate scheduling, retail and billing. This system is perfect for what I do. I have tried 2 other companies (Jack Rabbit and Wellness Living) This by far out performs both. Don't bother with anything else.

Cons: Very little. Intergrating into constant contact can be tricky but there is always support to walk you through the process.

Overall: All of our scheduling and billing is always accurate. The reports are correct and our customers say the portal is easy to use!

Overall it has been incredible! I think that it is the best option in the industry by far.

Pros: Easy to use and that it is constantly evolving and bettering the user experience. Lot of customization options.

Cons: Reporting can be difficult. Although yo can get to what you need, sometimes you spend considerable time digging.

The interface with the Engage App. as far as the dashboard to just 'dumb'
You can't schedule push notifications.
It only links to your personal Facebook profile not the business

Hoping to see improvements here soon.

Overall: It is the core software, POS, reporting and scheduling system for the business.

I wish it was more user friendly. You have to go thru a lot of screens and clicks

Pros: I like the tabs. The call help is great and almost always helpful. I also like the help chat so I can save the transcript and go back if I can't remember how I fixed something.

Cons: should be more simplified. have all of the pricing options, price making together. have like with like, all of the events/workshops/courses/enrollments should be together on the same screen. It took me hours to figure out how to add a course, mostly b/c I couldn't find the course tab anywhere near anything that made sense. why it's under manager tools... and not services and pricing with the classes and enrollments is confusing to me. I even used your help button and couldn't find the course management b/c I didn't know what it was called and had to search it in obscure ways in order to finally see course! I've used quickbooks for years in previous jobs and it is so easy to use! I wish MBO was more like that. I would also like to be able to add an hourly pay rate for staff. we offer teacher trainings and pay the teachers hourly for training and a different hourly rate for mentor meetings. IThat way when I run my payroll report I would have everything on it. Now I have to keep a separate sheet with any extra work teachers do. Even a "general journal" type option would suffice.

Overall: This is the only software I've ever used for this so I have no idea what else is out there...

Pros: There are so any options based on fitness to spas, there is really something for everyone! It is very user-friendly and gives you all of the good details before you purchase anything. It is great and designed perfectly to assist peoples needs.

Pros: Almost every case in our studio was possible. A lot of features, very common, easy to find in the net

Cons: slow, old a lot of bugs, not failures for more than 2 years, countless things to configure at different places, no widget for free

Overall: cost a lot of time

My experience has been good, but there are a few areas I wish were a little more user friendly.

Pros: This software is easy to train others to use because it has an easy to navigate system. There are multiple ways to do the same task, so it allows different users to customize their own usage.

Cons: The new checkout feature does not allow you to have the option to check the "No Tax" box as it does in the retail screen.

Pros: Easy booking and scheduling. I like the interface, and the marketing part of the system. I like that it integrates with constant contact and hirefrederick

Cons: I'm not able to utilize the full functionality of the software and I struggle to learn it and make changes to my business with it. Don't understand how to do a marketing blast through the "branded app"

Overall: I'm able to capture a good view of my and my staff's schedules. I can also see what days are busiest and what days I may need to change what we offer our clients.

Pros: Easy to do reports of all types to keep track of sales. Member sign up is very user friendly and easy for anyone to use.

Cons: That the Mind body app doesn't talk to computer software with account info if client or member used the app to sign up.

Pros: They continue to grow and change and update it and listen to the feedback from the end user like myself.

Cons: It is not geared to appointment based businesses. This poses an issue because there is not easy check in at front desk for appointments, and appointment issues such as being able to book a reucurring add-on is at the bottom of the list for updates.

Overall: It does everything in one place-billing, scheduling etc. Also they even do email campaigns which can be somewhat customized.

Overall a good product. Fairly user friendly. We have discovered glitches

Pros: The software is fairly intuitive. Once it is set up, it is pretty easy for staff at all levels to work with.

Cons: There are glitches with work arounds not yet available. We have had issues with our merchant account processing but maybe that will change the new merchant account process.

Pros: i especially like improvements that have been made on the "make schedule change" options for classes. over the last couple of years that has evolved to become a lot more functional.

Cons: The retail screen seems archaic and can be quite cumbersome for a studio that also sells retail. I know a product is in development that will enable electronic signatures but the receipt printing process can be a nightmare.

Overall: It seems no other software available has the ability to handle a pilates studio business model. Multiple locations, hundreds of classes, appointment hours and clients MindBody is able to accommodate the depth and breadth of our needs.

Mindbody has no automated payment for Mexico, lots of the feutures you offer are not available here.

Pros: The control in customer payment and the APP that keeps our brand top of mind for the customers.

The scheduling and the valuable reports that gives us information about retention and last visits.

Cons: I hate that there´s no automated payment for Mexico and this makes a lot of work for us cause we need to do everything manually and pay another online payment processor... so that´s why I think the value is not according to the service we recieve.

Value for MExican Customers shouldn´t be the same as for USA customers.

Overall: control, top of mind with the APP.

Pros: The fact that at anytime I can talk to a live real person with in minutes. I like the ease in which it supports our customers.

Cons: *It will do so much and I'm often not able to keep up and be in the know of what it will do.
*That the POS system is limited in Canada and we're forced into the use of one POS provider. That the POS is not able to process debit bank cards only credit cards.

Overall: Support in day to day function.

Has been integral to our business from 2k clients/year to 20k and beyond.

Pros: A powerful software that integrates our POS with our CRM, scheduling, booking, and more. A true all-in-one solution for our yoga business. Highly scalable. Tons of customizability.

Cons: System architecture can be pretty rickety. Some really useful things aren't possible or accessible, like reports on how much each teacher is subbing out their classes. Uptime isn't always as good as we'd like. They seem a bit more focused on pushing their own agenda as a company via lots of new tech-driven features, as opposed to clarifying and powerfully optimizing their product for their customers.

Pros: Ease of use in scheduling and the retail screen. Very user friendly for people who work for me but not for me necessarily.

Cons: There are too many glitches after a change, and they last a long time. The system freezes and I have to go a whole different way to get to the screen I need.

Pros: It's pretty straight forward and user friendly when it comes to teaching front desk staff how to use the program. Checking clients out (except now it's like 10 more steps than it was before) is easy enough, looking at customer profiles, entering in appointments is all very self explanatory.

Cons: the reporting - it is not straight forward and you can't customize the reports enough. This is easily the most important feature for companies to learn how their company is performing, how their staff is performing, what is their customer retention and so forth, and the reports are very underwhelming.

Like the program, but have one big issue that cant be solved for almost 2 years.

Pros: MINDBODY has the ability to handle bookings, payment and client data all in one integrated package. This saves having to use a dedicated web-designer to implement this on your business website.

The live chat feature is also good for getting support.

Cons: It is expensive. Even at the base level, the monthly fees are expensive and when you expand to a second physical location, the fees double!

It has become somewhat over-complicated as it has tried to accommodate endless feature requests and customisations. Often simple tasks, are not intuitive and require a call to the support team (who are generally quite good).

Overall, after going to MBU, I'm really learning to love this software.

Pros: I am super excited about the new POS coming out. Booking appointments is easy and most features are extremely user friendly. The help section is very detailed and can answer most questions. MBU is an amazing experience and anyone using the software should definitely make the investment and go.

Cons: Being an appointment based company, some of the features of Mindbody aren't really geared toward us which makes some of the features difficult to use. It does seem to go down or stop working somewhat frequently although in the last couple of years that has improved a lot.
