RN Used the software for: ### "Terrible Product" May 30, 2014 1.0 Cons: Too many clicks to do everything Extremely time-consuming In my nursing home, we were using PointClickCare (PCC), first. The ownership has changed 2 years ago, and we started using this product. It has been a nightmare although we are now used to this product..... One of the examples that explains how terrible this system is medication pass. I have been working morning shift. This product takes extra one hour or more to pass morning medications compared to PCC!! You can imagine how other parts are also time-consuming. I just felt they lagged behind the other industry leaders in the field Pros We had this software greater than 10 years. We liked it when we used it due to the fact prior everything was paper charts. You could say our first taste to the electronic charting world Cons It was rather dated, even with attempted updates. Cons The product is not the most intuitive or user-friendly. It is also hard to manage multiple tasks/modules at once due to the simplicity of the program. Review Source BB Barbara B. Pros There are a lot of ways to customize to your needs on the medical records side. It tracks use for security purposes well. Cons It is not web based so makes it hard to allow providers access. Administrative Nurse Hospital & Health Care Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Worst charting system EVER" October 26, 2018 1.0 I use it in a nursing facility. Our facility did reconstruction a few years ago and there is no ability to remove/hide the previous beds that were used even though no one is in those beds. I have used both Matrix and Point Click Care and would prefer both of those to this lack-luster system. Their staff is helpful, but they can't do anything that their programing won't allow. The system has had moderate difficulty with the new MDS requirements. It is an overall terrible system that I would NEVER recommend to anyone. Pros NOTHING!! This software is not user friendly. The things that you need to be able to do that are pretty straight forward (like scheduling a PRN medication) are not sensible and are frustrating. Cons The inability to schedule medications/treatments to what is needed. Have to create a special code for "everything", though you can't create a frequency like the first Monday of the month or PRN tid (must do an 8 hour prn though thats not what tid prn means). DON Used the software for: ### "Not user friendly, out dated interface, takes too much time to operate " June 25, 2015 1.0 I have used a variety of Electronic charting software at various facilities. AHT is a poorly designed interface and software. The med pass requires too many steps for the nurses, there is no reason for so many "clicks" it is not user friendly and it is a time consuming process to learn the system. The best system out is probably Point Click Care but it is a pricey system. I miss PCC dearly. It makes the life of a director I'd nursing so much easier. Review Source JH Jeanette H.
