Does not provide more granular detail of what we call tru ups (new employees added to an active client base or when an employee is removed from client base that ties into commisions) Info provided is not user-friendly enough in explaining what certain sections mean. What could be improved is customer orientation, listening to customer needs, project management during implementation could be adapted to customer reality and needs. Xactly team is technically expert, however does not pay enough attention to understand customer needs and adapting project plan and steps to customer timelines. I am not sure about other features as I have just begun using thie software. Perhaps next year in 2020 I will be able to get more accustomed to this type of software so that next year I will be able to answer this survey more precisely. Cons Learning curve is very long as it has so many uses that I have to learn many more uses than I probably ever be able to use. Best part of the tool is its simplicity to use and user friendly. There are so many good features about this but the most important ones for me and the team is Opportunity Estimator and the Dashboards. Sales reps are very much happy with Xactly. The tool offers a easy way to set up plan rules and calculate commissions. The company is great and listens to its users. They make improvements to the tools all the time to meet the needs of the users. Saves so much time as compared to excel model. Also provides great viability to sales team and prevents me from having to send out commission statements. Cons Difficult to get up and running. Took a long time to implement our existing plans within the software. The implementation specialist basically forced us to go live before the end of the quarter and it wreaked havoc on our calc. We basically had to start over a month later with a support rep to fix all of the errors. Review Source AL Alex L. The one issue that we've run into recently is a lack of flexibility with the product when it comes to making changes as we recently overhauled our compensation process but that seems to be working itself out with the support we've been given. Basically building a drop down menu...etc. The Xactly team were very understanding and responsive. Also, created a whole demo in a little amount of time.
