December 13, 2019 2.0 Pros At the onset of the project, the software sounded like it would reduce the complexity of our commission schedule but automating it. Cons Implementation is a mess. Everytime we have done an SOW, there is inevitably a change order and something that doesn't get done properly. The black box of DELTA is a nightmare as only a specific team has access to make changes and understands it. The report builder in the system is not very intuitive and we have to shift our thinking to a "Xactly" perspective when creating reports. Cons It is a software that is restrictive and rigid to adapt to the different compensation incentive schemes that are in the market. The way it was developed it is for a typical basic commission plan. Currently incentive plans for sales workforce have evolved and are less traditional, they are more complex and Xactly Incent is too rigid to adapt to creative plans. Review Source TF Tara F. The User Interface not appealing. 2. There is no description /details about information you see on screens like for example the report which shows you the detailed payout. guideline, help attached which explains what each of the fields on report means and how it is arrived at. We moved to Xactly from Optymyze which was an easier software to navigate and make changes to our plan. Xactly offers a bit more flexibility but it is difficult to implement. Pros The software is pretty flexible which is needed for our environment. Cons The software very tech heavy and we have had to dedicate a person to keep the software processing each day. The software is in not self contained; we would like to use data out of connect in reporting but cannot its not available to analytics. Reason for choosing Xactly Incent Price. Its very easy for our Sales Org to go in and see their attainment, commissions earned, quotas, and accessing their compensation plans Cons As an administrator, there are some functionality issues I face, which make extracting the data for analysis sometimes difficult. Maybe it will at some point. We have a variety of comp plans as well as employees switching between plans frequently, both of which still result in manual changes needed to ensure compensation is paid correctly. Unfortunately many of the items we were originally excited to use within Xactly were deemed as impossible tasks after the purchase of the program. However with the money that has been put into it we are still trying to salvage it for some use. It has been over a year since purchase and we still have not rolled it out, and may never actually. October 12, 2018 5.0 We are currently able to calculate hundreds of compensation plans across 29 countries globally for thousands of people with relative ease thanks to Xactly! Pros Easy to adjust existing compensation plans as well as set up new ones on the fly. There is also direct data integration with SFDC and other tools which makes it easy to import data into Xactly.
