Entering a calibration event is definitely less time consuming than our other program. Being able to use templates makes entering new pieces of equipment easy. Cons I feel that the when you start out with the program, some canned certificates and worksheets would be helpful. I find it difficult to get technical support. Having to explain the same problem to different technician support personnel is frustrating. I recommend IndySoft as a solution anywhere data and measurements need to be taken in a production or testing/laboratory environment. The implementation staff at IndySoft are great at setting up processes and flow charts for each company's unique needs. Pros IndySoft on the surface level is an amazing calibration management software. Everything one would need to run a calibration laboratory is in the software with plenty of automation options. On a deeper level, though, IndySoft can be modified and customized for many different applications. I use IndySoft to run thermal spray production and testing, shot peen (surface enhancement) production and Almen strip testing, and many testing commonly found in metallurgical laboratories. With some intermediate computer coding skills, I can easily customize IndySoft to fit as a software and automation product in many unique applications. From my team of nearly 150 technicians, I consistently get positive feedback on how IndySoft helps them perform their day-to-day tasks. Cons It takes a while to learn. One really has to dive deep and explore IndySoft to get proficient at it. There are plenty of help videos on YouTube and the support documentation is fantastic, but you do have to really go through a lot of it to do it yourself. I would give IndySoft 8 out of 10; thank you for improving things. Please don't make it super expansive for small labs, where they can't afford you. Pros Number of options available, search features, ability to customize the software. Cons Ease of use; lot's of things are not intuitive (like Ctrl 1 to update a screen during event; why is there no button to update); you have to be trained (shown) on everything. Why is there no feature to close out multiple items at once? (when everything is exactly the same). Ability to Magnify "everything" (for people with bad eyesight). When adding any notes; alignment is horrible, columns spacing mismatches (when copied and pasted from spreadsheet).
