Pros High configurability and creating customized reports are very helpful. System is very stable. Customer support is exceptional. Cons Unable to work simultaneously at more than one window. December 19, 2017 3.0 I use this software because its what we had, when I got this job a few years ago. I am getting to know it well, although there is much to learn. We will be updating to IndySoft in 2018. Pros It's very customizeable. I can customize reports, although I haven't used this as much as I like because I need some more training on this part of it. Cons At least the older version is somewhat complex. I work in Gage InSite which is an older version of the software. In 2018, were finally updating, I'll let you know how that goes. December 20, 2017 3.0 Pros It does have many feature that we ares still learning about. For the most part it seems pretty user friendly, but in all honesty, my limited experience with these type of applications I have nothing to compare it to. Cons Seems to be unstable. License cost is minimal compared to a lot of other programs and the yearly maintenance support fees are pennies compared to Fluke or Keysight. Cons Some of the help files aren't specific enough about creating reports. Changing the flow trees and display aspects are tricky but the Indysoft support crew is very willing to help create the exact feel for the needs one wants! January 12, 2018 4.0 Customizable templates, easy reporting, automated form/label generation, quick visual status indication, auto numbering scheme. Pros My favorite feature of the software so far has been the ability to create custom templates for common tool families, and easily modify all associated records by changing the template. December 21, 2017 5.0 Pros It's very easy to export any lists into excel. Creating a picklist of equipment was a game changer for me. Now I don't have to look up every single piece of equipment one by one. I can create a list of all my selected equipment and manage much more easily. Cons There is nothing not to like about Indysoft. Have been able to add all our tooling under different company's to separate them. Cons Generating Reports is hard. Too many options to choose from. I cannot wait to implement. Pros I absolutely love that it is so customizable. The report function are also very robust. Cons I would like to see an easier way to track turn around time. Also, a KPI dashboard (which I hear is in the works) would be amazing. The integration is somewhat difficult for users because there is so much customization.
