The system is quite intuitive if you have previous experience of CCMS's. We like that RWS uses local partners that can help with implementation and support, as well as providing support via RWS professional services if needed. Pros We appreciate that we can conduct review in Collective Spaces and track changes as well as the comments from reviewers in Tridion Docs. Not having to create a separate publication for reviewing purposes saves a lot of time. Cons Depending on what system or software you are transitioning from, it can be challenging to adopt the DITA standard. Alternatives considered [IXIASOFT CCMS](https://www.capterra.com/p/154281/DITA-CMS/) [Author-it](https://www.capterra.com/p/21662/AuthorIT/) Reasons for choosing Tridion Docs During the evaluation process it was concluded that DITA and topic-based writing is the right way for us, so at the end the choice was between RWS and IXIASOFT. We chose RWS primarily because Tridion Docs was slightly better suited for us, but also because we had a better dialogue with RWS than with IXIASOFT.
