The system is quite intuitive if you have previous experience of CCMS's. We like that RWS uses local partners that can help with implementation and support, as well as providing support via RWS professional services if needed. Pros We appreciate that we can conduct review in Collective Spaces and track changes as well as the comments from reviewers in Tridion Docs. Not having to create a separate publication for reviewing purposes saves a lot of time. Cons Depending on what system or software you are transitioning from, it can be challenging to adopt the DITA standard. Pros The version handling and the bridge between the desktop tools and the XML editor that makes it easy to handle. Cons The lack of audit trails. The lack of an overview of translation status for all languages. The support from RWS is very professional and knowledgeable. Pros A capable and stable core system that can be configured and customized. Cons The cost is very high and the reliance on Client tools that need to be installed on the users local machines feels a bit dated. Cons The search functionality could be better. Apparently they have been improving it for Version 15. Reason for choosing Tridion Docs It was our test users' favourite. The possibility to have "anything" as a condition instead of the standard DITA big four was also a major advantage.
