Team is particularly committed to solving the problems we present which is made easier my the customization available throughout their modules. I love their concentration on delivering something which actually works and makes our day easier unlike some higher profile products. Cons We have used the software for years and in the early days the UI was a little behind newer products, principally because they were very detail oriented and wanted a compete rather than quick "answer". In the last couple of years, they have found ways to maintain that commitment to accuracy but streamline the UI/UX and I would say this has solved the issue. Their focus is to solve problems and be part of the team. I never felt that I was just a client and when you have large important projects like this, having a strong relationship, shared vision and can-do attitude is the most important. Pros I am writing this as a business owner, and as the person that decided to use Freightgate, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and his team. We came to work with Freightgate due to the inability of our own ERP providers being able to customize and implement our new ERP the way they promised and we needed an expert to do our customization. That company we chose was Freightgate and it was great. What I enjoy the most with Freightgate is their culture. There are many software companies that all can state their abilities, their successes and their achievements. That is the easy advertisement type of measurables. What cannot be measured is culture. Unless you are an expert. Most companies engage a software company for their technical skills. Most do not really focus on measuring culture. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and his team have a great culture. Great vision, but also true partnership. Many times, we were stuck with our own internal processes, our own internal lack of understanding and our own financial limitations. Throughout all of these obstacles, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and his team made it very easy for us and helped us to solve issues even when technically outside their contract. In addition, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and team were the key difference maker in us getting our entire new ERP up to speed and being used. Cons Well, being a business owner, I did not like the amount of meetings we had online and on the phone to get this up to speed. But that is just me! Alliance’s operations that includes Air and Ocean Exports, Import NVOCC, Customs clearance, and full accounting system. Importantly from a management standpoint is after market services that I grade Freightgate from a simple rating system, “five stars”. From my experience working with systems, specifically systems programmers/engineers, responsiveness is paramount avoiding distractions of my core responsibilities. From an operational standpoint, productivity and safeguards are key. Having a tariff databased that can be uploaded from an excel spread sheet including specific government requirements (e.g., food & Drug, Agriculture for example), country of origin, manufacture/supplier, CBP rulings in this regard general transactions take an average of 3.5 minutes from start to finish. In closing you couldn’t find a greater group of people to work with. Pros Data sharing and analytics for a very complex industry involving multiple segments in the supply chain for goods sold or purchased between the USA and abroad Cons the software is excellent and comprehensive. The challenges is data from multiple sources from various countries.
