Overall great, from the product manager to product support, the Brainier team members truly care about your success in using the product and are there when you need them.

Pros

There are so many options to customize your site to fit your organization's needs. Brainier provides the most opportunities out of other LMS products to set up the effective training programs you have always wanted and finally put training front and center for your organization.

Cons

The product is a one-size-fits-all in a lot of ways, but the product continues to develop and offer new appearances and features. There are also a lot of options to set up a different training tools within the product, and more focused guidance from the Brainier team would probably help push teams to use the entire platform more dynamically.

Impressed with setup and training. Initial setup was quicker than I thought it would be, and subsequent years implementation was very efficient. Probably one of the most customizable applications I've ever used. Easy to use for all managers, even those that were computer challenged!

Pros

Incredibly customizable. Support from CWS was prompt and accurate.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind other than I did need to make sure our internal IT department whitelisted the email domain from TalentComp, but that was more of a con on our end.

It's great, better than any alternative. Our TA professionals prefer it, and it has an easy enough learning curve that our managers can become trained to proficiently use it even without formal HR training backgrounds.

Pros

ClearCompany is the best ATS I have seen. It does what we need it to do, is reliable, and provides a great platform for different team members to collaborate and productively add new employees to the company.

Cons

Sometimes the integration we have between ClearCompany and our HRIS misbehaves, and we have to call it in for support. Because these are two different organizations, sometimes there is a little tail chasing, where one company says the problem resides with the other, and we get advised to troubleshoot with the other party. Eventually the problems always get solved, wherever they lie, but sometimes support is a little eager to delegate away when in reality they could help us if they took the time.

### "Good ATS for companies averaging < 15 open jobs"

Prior to implementing ClearCompany in April of 2017, we did not have any sort of candidate management software. We were eager to find a software to help us organize as we were consistently recruiting for at least 15 open jobs at all times. ClearCompany's product helped our teams organize hiring efforts and streamline processes all while allowing Hiring Managers the ability to stay connected and engaged with the process. Through daily use of the system we were able to better understand and identify a list of performance features we needed from an ATS to ensure our team's success. After about a year of use, our recruiting volume had nearly doubled and our need for task management and automation features increased. Adding in frustrations of daily system issues and the amount of outstanding tickets left unresolved for months on end, we started to demo other systems. Ultimately, we selected another ATS that better fit our growing needs and concerns.

Pros

Absolutely loved the way the candidate pipeline was broken down and organized with customization options for both interview stages and workflow within a specific interview stage. Customization abilities for just about every feature within the system allows any company to tailor the system to fit their specific or unique process. Offer letter creation and offer process was extremely seamless and easy to use. Could generate and send offer letter for approval and then to candidate for signature in seconds and without the use of a 3rd party DocuSign type system. The ability to rate candidates A, B, C or X was helpful in keeping a visual rating of candidates within your pipeline. Integration and set-up was an easy process, however, training and resources could use some improvement. Dashboard layout was easy to navigate and access.

Cons

ClearCompany was a glitchy system; we were consistently submitting support tickets for re-occurring issues with common features that slowed or required us to create a workaround within the hiring process. Customer Support would usually have to escalate issues to their development team and it would be months before we had an update or a resolution. Customer Support teams and Account Managers could use some improvement on communication and also follow through on actionable items they said they would deliver on. New product features were usually released before proper bug testing was done creating usability concerns and an abundance of support tickets. They also usually came with very little training or lack or good resources leaving the user confused and overwhelmed on how to utilize these great new features. Reporting was extremely limited. Some of the most basic and general recruiting metrics could not be produced through reports and had to be either manually tracked or data had to be manipulated. There were a few times where we found discrepancies on specific job reports vs. the data tracked on the job req's dashboard. Interview Scorecards were extremely confusing, hard to access/change/set-up quickly and not user friendly once they were set up. Lack of automation and key features in comparison to other ATS systems within the same price point.

Overall, we’ve had great success with ClearCompany. The platform is very user-friendly, which allows our team to seamlessly use the application without significant training. The platform also has plenty of integrations with other applications, including Slack and Microsoft Teams, so our team can conveniently access important information. These integrations have allowed our team to use the system more effectively.

Pros

ClearCompany integrates all our applicants into one place. We can now easily email and text applicants. If you’re looking for a system that helps you organize and communicate with all of your applicants, I recommend trying ClearCompany.

Cons

The reporting is subpar and you would be better off with a different applicant tracking system. Clear company does not block an applicant from applying to a position multiple times, leading to a lot of clutter in the system that you might find unnecessary or confusing.

It has been a pleasure collaborating with the client services and support teams. Our corporate experience has been exceptional, and we’ve been utilizing the platform for over six years.

Pros

Everything you need is available on Brainier. We are receiving the highest return on investment. The platform is highly reliable and provides a range of customizable options. The Social tools like badges, discussion, ranking is so cool. We have a few staff who just reached the highest ranking - Rocket Scientist Level III (250000 points).

Cons

The quiz functionality has room for improvement by incorporating a variety of question types. Additionally, we need a gradebook for curriculum courses that can display multiple completed objectives. It would also be beneficial to integrate AI functionality to align with current trends.

Implementing TalentComp made managing our annual salary review exercise so much easier than sending a multitude of excel spreadsheets to managers for completion. Good customer service made implementation fairly easy. Good people, genuinely interested in my success. Very much appreciated.

Cons

Delivering Total Rewards Statements to employees presented some challenges. We managed to come up with a workaround that aimed to go beyond the basics, although the outcome fell short of our expectations.

We have setup a Performance Review process, that captures and maintains performance review data for our staff in one place. We conduct reviews 3 times per year. The workflow saves an incredible amount of time and the reviews are part of our Bonus program, so with a simple download, we are able to facilitate bonus calculations within hours rather than days.

Pros

We use this software to manage our Performance Review process. We are able to structure the reviews how we would like to see them, and use the workflow to channel the review from the initial reviewer to 2nd and 3rd level approvers. We plan to use the 360 review process in the future. Overall, the process within the application works very well.

Cons

I'd suggest that reporting could be improved. I'd like the ability to download any data element from ClearCompany, not just the canned reports, and massage it in a spreadsheet.

From start to finish, it was a great process. We are very happy with the final product.

Pros

There are so many things that made the transition to TalentComp the best solution for our Salary Admin process, one of the top reasons is the ability to have managers route their recommendations through the hierarchy and have an audit trail. In our legacy process, we had an excel spreadsheet for each department, we have 32 departments and had to route and track changes for 32 spreadsheets! It was madness! The software's reporting capabilities was not complex and they were able to provide a template report to look exactly like our Excel version of the process. Integration was great and very easy. Our tech was responsive and knowledgeable and if he did not have the answer he would find out and respond timely. The whole process took about 8 weeks. I will say that once we rolled out the new process to our managers, I felt like I had so much extra time during a very busy chaotic time of year. We are very happy with the finished product and our managers enjoyed using the system as well!

Cons

Honestly, there was nothing that we did not like about the software!

Excellent! Truly for me the customer service is what wins me over. The product is great don't get me wrong but without the help of an actual person these a wonderful product can fall flat on it's face. I have never had a frustration with a dropped call or an email that was not returned promptly. I would recommend ClearCompany without reservations.

Pros

The integration of ClearCompany into our process was truly extraordinary. From the first meeting until today I have a close relationship with the person that helped to set it up. He is prompt in his reply and very thorough providing a detailed explanation as well as screenshots and directions. I really appreciate him! Once trained, the software itself is intuitive and easy to understand.

Cons

There are some tweaks that I think could be improved upon. I typically ask my Customer Success Manager if something is available and if not, he tries to recommend another option. Example, we are looking to add a training tracking option and he referred us to another company that integrates with ClearCompany. Regardless, the pros outweigh the cons at this point and they are always open to exploring options which I appreciate.

It has been a wonderful experience and the platform is easy to use and effective.

Pros

Along with being a wonderful tool for recruiting, setting up and customizing ClearCo is very easy. The background setup allows you to customize everything you would ever want, including email templates, knockout question scoring, etc.

Cons

The reporting in ClearCo is lacking as it isn't user friendly and hard to find very basic measures. Another pain point is that the ScoreCard and Interview Guide do not populate in the same order, so there is some legwork when preparing for an interview. It isn't a ton of legwork, but it is annoying.

As a new user of ClearCompany I was initially very excited. As you open the dashboard the interface is clean and well laid out, the candidate and req screens are easy to navigate for a novice to an expert. They have a cool function where you can leave a note on a candidate or req with the @ sign and share immediately with other users via a push to their email-- WHAT??? So cool. Really. They've recently added text, which is a great function- except that your number is blocked to the candidate and vice versa. I am sure this is for security, but it makes it confusing when text convos are on-going. A small price to pay for text function, but it's there. My main concern with this program- thus far- is that their reporting is reportedly in development- and you can use the "old reporting" or the "new reporting"- this is confusing in of itself- not to mention the list of reports is daunting and confusing in the use of interchangeable language that does quite hit the mark. Overall I give this product a thumbs up for the total package. I don't pay for this package- but if I did, I would push harder on development team to get it together and come out with updates and fixes a tad faster. We're all busy.

Pros

Great user interface- excellent ease of use for managers that are NOT recruiters; Simplified application process available to candidates; Clean and clear dashboard with all components easily accessible Great flexibility to share between users Text function-- YAY!

Cons

Reporting function is okay at best- too confusing, too cumbersome and stuck between an "old version" and a "new version" Customization options are minimal Customer service is slow to respond

I was with this system when it was HRM and then ClearCompany bought it out. This happened a year after we implemented the HRM system and it felt like we had to go through constant training with our hiring managers and updates for the transition. I had 3-4 different reps in less than 2 years and the response time was horrible. I waited over a month for things to get done and implemented. When ClearCompany took the product over it was definitely better than HRM but not enough to justify them wanting to double our cost! I felt like it was finally an okay system as opposed to bad and was not willing to pay twice the amount for okay. If you're a growing organization and don't want to go through the headache of changing systems in the future look for a system that does not charge per recruiter license. A lot of the functions that only recruiters could utilize should have been available to hiring managers or HR generalists. For example, you could not search a specific applicant if you did not have a recruiter license so if we made a hire and HR needed to grab some info from the system they could not use their hiring manager access to do so even if they had access to the candidate in the requisition. They had to try and remember which requisition they were pulled from and go into the requ and find the candidate which makes it challenging if you have to hire 20 of the same position. Another headache is if you want to really track your candidates and the time to fill you can't indicate to the system that you need 20 admins, you have to post 20 times. Waste of time. Overall: System is ok and functioning = 3 (the CRM aspect is horrible, I wouldn't recommend at all this is just for ATS) Ease of use: search limitations and the fact you can't identify more than one hire needed for a role increased the workload = 2 Customer service: horrible. Expect delayed responses and implementation of things needed. Really impacts the efficiency. = 1

We changed our name from HRM Direct to ClearCompany in 2013 to better reflect our total offering, and were not acquired. We strove to minimize the impact this name change had on our clients, and it looks like we didn¿t excel on that with your team. We apologize for any confusion the change caused for you. Additionally, we are committed to offering our team members options for growth in their careers. As a result, we do see staffing changes from time to time. In your account's case, we promoted two Relationship Managers into more senior roles in 2014 - both of whom were dedicated to your account.

I have been with 3 different companies looking for ATS solutions. I used Clear Company at the first, tried to implement at the second and I brought it with me and implemented at the third.

Pros

The functionality of the software and the ease to tailor to our needs is amazing. If you want the software to do something, and it's not, it usually user error. If you want a feature, chances are it's in there!! The chat feature and online tools are spot on and the account managers are attentive and supportive.

Cons

I don't ways want to go to reports. I would like export options on individual screens. It's not a deal breaker at all. I am just spoiled by all the other features so now I want one click satisfation on this too.

Reason for choosing ClearCo

I didn't even look for an alternative. I have always been satisified with Clear so why change. We did not have an ATS so Clear Company was the place to start.

### "Year end Compensation process has been smooth with Talent Comp"

Pros

We had a short time line to set up the system (made purchase decision in early October and ran merit/bonus/equity process in early December). Team was great to work with and VERY responsive to all our calls, questions and needs. There were bumps, yes, but that was to be expected. We did a deep dive into the issues right after we closed the process and were able to address all the issues in the next year's cycle. I would recommend for any company based on my experience.

Cons

The one thing that users have not liked is that the scrolling ability is slow. Executives don't like it for roll up purposes so we as an HR team have had to export to spreadsheets and track the changes made by executives and update the system. Still so much better than when we were functioning in spreadsheets only with 60+ managers and having to consolidate, etc.

Reason for choosing ClearCo

We looked at several other options (don't recall what they were now) and TalentComp was more flexible in it's system and the team was much more approachable and could show us how it would look for us with 3 components to manage (merit, bonus and stock options). We do not have performance ratings so we do not use that feature and we turn it off and on each year for our comp planning cycle in early December. Very happy we made this change.
