### "ClearCo Great ATS for Paylocity"

Overall, ClearCo has been great to work with over the course of a few years, with the customer support we had for implementation and integration to join forces with Paylocity a key factor for why we continued to use it.

Pros

I really liked the ease of navigation in using the ClearCo Dashboard, helped all of us that had access in our Recruiting and HR team to at a glance see candiate process across all posted roles. It was nice to have workflows and notes to track candidates through the interview process for quick updates to leadership team. The integration and value for connecting with our HR System in Paylocity was crucial for us to have.

Cons

I wish it had onboarding integrations with Paylocity, this would increase process automation for us to a necessary level with our company's size and volume of onboarding.

### "ClearCompany works as it should"

I now have the ability to view the calendar and know who will be out before I plan my own vacation. I do not have to call HR to ask them to send me my previous pay stubs because they are already available in my account. It allows me to complete my performance review without opening up 5 different apps.

Pros

Here I sit with a now cold cup of coffee and found out that this time the Google login really did work without resetting my password. Not a bad idea having everything about me (salary & docs) in one place.

Cons

I am able to locate my tax documents (W-2), which is nearly impossible to do in ClearCompany and I normally spend 20 minutes searching every year for this document. In addition, I hate the monthly security code that you need to enter into your account. It is very repetitive for something that doesn't seem to serve a purpose. My "Stuff" tab has been blank the entire time I used Clear Company and it appears to be broken.

Starting with our implementation team (Erin & Kate) were super patient, knowledgeable and responsive during the implementation then it continued thru all of the launches since.

Pros

For a company our size, it has helped in not only automating approvals and over all managing our quarterly bonus and annual merit cycles. It allows us to bring in additional data points from other systems (ie, performance ratings). While we desire to have an all-in-one platform for our people needs, we are not in a place that we can do so and CWS has been a huge improvement to our manual processes as we continue to want to evolve our programs.

Cons

The single sign-on continues to be an issue. Every cycle we have multiple people that get locked out of the platform.

Reason for choosing ClearCo

We had a consultant that was familiar with the platform and spoke highly of it, the pricing was something we could afford and the implementation time was reasonable for us.

It's great, better than any alternative. Our TA professionals prefer it, and it has an easy enough learning curve that our managers can become trained to proficiently use it even without formal HR training backgrounds.

Pros

ClearCompany is the best ATS I have seen. It does what we need it to do, is reliable, and provides a great platform for different team members to collaborate and productively add new employees to the company.

Cons

Sometimes the integration we have between ClearCompany and our HRIS misbehaves, and we have to call it in for support. Because these are two different organizations, sometimes there is a little tail chasing, where one company says the problem resides with the other, and we get advised to troubleshoot with the other party. Eventually the problems always get solved, wherever they lie, but sometimes support is a little eager to delegate away when in reality they could help us if they took the time.

We really enjoy using ClearCompany. We currently use it for our recruiting processes and peformance management and it's been working well!

Pros

Easy for applicants and employees to use. Easy to navigate. Automates a lot of our processes that used to be manual. Support staff is always available for questions or troubleshooting

Cons

There tends to be bugs occassionally (but I believe that's the case with most software so it's not uncommon).

Overall great, from the product manager to product support, the Brainier team members truly care about your success in using the product and are there when you need them.

Pros

There are so many options to customize your site to fit your organization's needs. Brainier provides the most opportunities out of other LMS products to set up the effective training programs you have always wanted and finally put training front and center for your organization.

Cons

The product is a one-size-fits-all in a lot of ways, but the product continues to develop and offer new appearances and features. There are also a lot of options to set up a different training tools within the product, and more focused guidance from the Brainier team would probably help push teams to use the entire platform more dynamically.

### "Brainier Experience "

Training reports didn’t work for me and Brainier stepped in, consulted with our Admin, and effectively assisted with resolving internal configuration issues with my role.

Pros

From a management viewpoint, having a suitable LMS is a value added one stop shop for our organizational training needs.

Cons

In US Government Contracting, Brainier’s solution to accept external required US Government training from https://securityawareness.usalearning.gov/ that requires US Government training certificate uploads is doable but improvements are needed. The three-step process is difficult to set up, trainees struggle and often need one on one assistance with uploading their certificates.

The setup and integration have been fairly easy. I enjoy the team at Brainier. Great customer service! The system itself is very robust.

Cons

If you host a virtual meeting in the Brainier platform there is no option to record the meeting.

Pleasantly surprise. This is my first time using it and I am already recommending it to other colleagues in the industry.

Pros

The efficiency of being able to do onboarding all electronically which means they don't have to spend the time to drive to the hotel just to fill out a piece of paper before they start their job. I also like how easy it is to keep track of candidates as they move down the pipeline in the hiring process, how you can text and email them right from the website, etc.

Cons

Nothing. I went through the onboarding process myself and now I am onboarding other associates, and I think the site is great!!!

Impressed with setup and training. Initial setup was quicker than I thought it would be, and subsequent years implementation was very efficient. Probably one of the most customizable applications I've ever used. Easy to use for all managers, even those that were computer challenged!

Pros

Incredibly customizable. Support from CWS was prompt and accurate.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind other than I did need to make sure our internal IT department whitelisted the email domain from TalentComp, but that was more of a con on our end.

I really enjoy using this platform, and I login to it daily. It is easy to use and is always improving. There are even places you can customize your view (like in the candidate tearsheet) and I have found that useful! I also enjoy all the feature updates in their quarterly roundup videos.

Pros

I really enjoy the thoroughness of the ClearCo platform, the ease of implementation, our account and support teams, and the ease of use. I am definitely a power user of this platform in my company and I think it is really easy to follow along with a candidacy. We had a superb implementation team that addressed all of our concerns and helped with some items after. Since implementation we've reached out with many questions and enhancement requests to see what could be improved in the system - and while not everything changed, they were heard. I enjoy using this platform both as a Talent Management System and internally to track our org wide goals, personal goals, and the performance platform.

Cons

As with any software, there are bugs from time to time. A few times my support requests didn't make it through, and some integrations we wanted couldn't be made. However, our account team has been available to talk through many ideas and the platform is always improving.

We've had a great experience with Clear Company. For us, our needs are pretty simple: we need to quickly post, attract, and hire candidates. Clear Company has consistently allowed us to do that.

Pros

Really user friendly with a lot of features. Very easy to post positions, access candidate profiles, and run reports. Customer service and ongoing webinars are excellent as well.

Cons

Not too much, we looked at several other ATSs when re-evaluating whether to continue with Clear Company, and none of the other products would have provided us any improvement or added value based on what our needs are.

Reason for choosing ClearCo

It was just as good as the other products and the pricing was competitive, if not better.

The software is easy to use and surely easy to deploy. I don't have any challenging moments since the software is highly relatable easy to set up.

### "Better ATS/Onboarding Options"

I migrated our HR/Recruiting department to ClearCompany from a more expensive Legacy ATS that was showing its age and cost much more. Beware of a few things. First, while they aren't a bad software suite, they aren't great, and suffer from not being particularly good in any one aspect compared to competitors, whether its functionality, features, price, etc. They do, however, have a great sales team that is prepared to sell their product as the next great thing. They also spent a lot of money on help modules (professional Youtube clips) and making their software aesthetically pleasing. However, when in actual use, the software is not as good as the image would lead you to believe. It is one of the more glitchy pieces of HR software I've ever used with experience in excess of over 10 ATS/HRIS/CRM/etc. Using it is not intuitive, from selecting dispositions, to making changes, to posting ads, to running reports. For the price, it in the lower half of pricing for equivalent ATS software packages, but on the high end of that, and each additional option and login costs a lot. There are a lot of competing products that are easier to use, less prone to malfunctions, and cheaper. While an HR department probably wouldn't hate this product, since it does work, there are absolutely better products in both directions, both at a higher price point with more functionality, as well as at lower price points with equivalent functionality.

Pros

The portal is aesthetically pleasing, with a very modern design approach. It is priced decently, although not great, cheaper than large vendors like Taleo, etc., but there are cheaper options that offer roughly the same functionality (and some better). They remain focused on compliance and update standardized forms. The Onboarding side is better than their ATS.

Cons

Nickel and dime for every extra item. Additional user seats are expensive. Data migration from previous ATS is expensive. Changes to the format, questions, dispositions, stages, etc. are not easy and it is hard to tailor to your company/department's specific individualized needs. In order to make it pretty, they made it very difficult to change formatting. In addition, if you require ClearCompany to make a change, it takes a while and costs a lot. Controls are pretty, but aren't intuitive. They are NOT GoogleforJobs compliant. When I last asked them for an update in 2017, they stated it wasn't necessary and had only the most vague understanding of why this was important. Their mobile optimization is horrible and frequently has issues. Their ATS is glitchy.

Cons

The least liked aspect of ClearCompany was the lack of customization options for reports and data visualization. The templates for these features were basic and not very useful for more in-depth and detailed analysis. Additionally, it was also hard to set up and manage a centralized database for all our company data.

### "Excellent ATS System With Great Functionaltiy"

Overall I've been really impressed with this ATS system. I'd never used it before, and it is a very robust system with a lot of features. It was easy to learn, and it's easy to make minor changes to templates and forms when needed. The customer support is better than what I've experienced with other ATS systems.

Pros

It is easy to learn, has many features, and allows you to easily track applicants. We also use it to send offer letters, initiate onboarding activities, and schedule interviews. There are many features in one platform, and it is straightforward to learn how to use the features. We have a dedicated account manager whom we can contact when we have to escalate issues, and they also have an online chat feature with customer service.

Cons

Sometimes the reporting is not consistent with results after you run a query, and the applications sometimes get submitted in different formats based on the method the applicant uses to apply. Also, sometimes the customer service team doesn't give a complete answer to your question.

Reason for choosing ClearCo

I was not part of the process, but I believe it was due to the cost and the fact that it offers international recruiting functionality.

Our team switched to ClearCompany after several frustrating years with another company. Our experience has been night and day different! ClearCompany is so easy to implement and use and the customer service is truly unmatched. We have never felt like a burden by the team, and they are very quick to help us troubleshoot issues or to answer questions. We've also been able to train and set up all of our hiring managers, and the ease of sharing applicant information throughout the office is so helpful. The cost is also very reasonable for the number of features provided!

Pros

It's so easy to use and it only takes a few minutes to train up new hiring managers/users. The scorecards are incredibly helpful for gathering information as well as keeping all notes in one place. Also, the ability to schedule interviews directly through the system was a GAME CHANGER for our team!

Cons

While there is an option to schedule multiple interviewers, that can only be done for back to back interviews. It would be helpful to have an option to add multiple interviews to the SAME interview block when looking to schedule things. That way, the calendar confirmations go to each person separately and we don't have to track or copy invites.

Reason for choosing ClearCo

Ultimately, it came down to price. With ClearCompany and our budget restrictions, we were able to get the greatest number of features and users. Also, the overall system is very clean and professional. The customer service could also not be beaten.
