Easier way to find the reason of the rejected and denied claims daily.

Pros

Navicure is absolutely great for daily reporting! There are various reports that can be review such as the daily productivity, rejection and denial type on your claims. You can work them by the denied reason, insurance company or the dates of service.

Cons

Some of the rejections reason/descriptions are not that clear and sometimes will need the help from customer service to determine the best way to fix however here is short wait time to get assistance. The rejection also sometime duplicate in more than on category but when one is completed it does remove it's self from the other categories as well.

I like using all the apps within ESolutions. I really like the MAVEN software for submitting ADRs and appeals.

Pros

I really like the ease of use between all the apps in Esolutions. The eligibility checks for monthly is a great feature to have.

Cons

Sometimes the eligibility takes a long period of time.

### "Beware of Waystar’s Hidden Auto-Renewal & Illegal Price Hikes"

If you sign up, be prepared for hidden fees, forced renewals, increased pricing, and an uphill battle if you ever try to leave. If you’re a practice owner, read the fine print carefully before signing with Waystar. There are better clearinghouse services out there that are more capable, affordable with seamless EHR integration that don’t rely on deception to keep customers. We originally signed a contract in 2015 with Navicure, which later became Waystar. The contract contained a 24-month auto-renewal clause, meaning if we didn’t cancel at least 90 days before renewal, we were locked in for another 2 years because they use a "go live date" instead of the signed contract date and considered us passed the 90 day window to cancel before auto renewal. In January 2025, we received only 60 days’ notice (not the required 90) that our prices would increase. The price increased from $115.43 to $365.43 per month—a greater than 200% increase, when the contract explicitly states that annual increases cannot exceed 5% unless justified by CPU-H inflation rates. They refused to allow early termination unless we paid out the full term upfront for services we wouldn’t even be able to use.

Pros

We had been customers for 10 years, back when it used to be Navicure. I can't believe this is how they treat long term customers.

Cons

🚨 Predatory Auto-Renewals: The contract renews for two years at a time, and they do not send proper reminders before you’re locked in again. 🚨 Unlawful Price Increases: They increased our rates without contractually required notice and far beyond what was allowed (over 200%) 🚨 No Way to Leave: They refuse to let clinics exit the contract early unless you pay the entire balance upfront—even if you’re not using the service. 🚨 Data Access Held Hostage: If you terminate, you instantly lose access to all claims and financial data unless you pay additional fees to reactivate.

The function I like the most how easy and user friendly it is to submit a claim, verify the information is correct and it has been accepted, reviewed and submitted to the payer.

With my experience using , I really can not think of any aspect that I do not like or that needs to be better.

Pros

For my company, this product offers revenue cycle management and auto insurance verification. Contracting with Zirmed has allowed the organization to speed up their verification process and provide visits to patients faster.

Cons

As with every service, the software is not infallible. Quite unfortunately so, since it is an accurate product. Where it fails is with insurances that are not verified or for those that do not reach the clearing house, the insurance processor has to revert to a manual process to verify eligibility.

### "Poor customer support"

We switched our EMR system and when asked to port our account no one seems to have any quick resolution. We are going on the second month unable to bill and access our account. Customer service will promise to call and don't. And when you answer their questions of preference to your account nothing is done until you call again. And no one can help you except for the first person that started the case. And it's a complete run around of no one being able to communicate. They instruct you to do something and then another person says you can't do it. Then tells you they need sales to call you back to get it set up and no one calls. Just a simple answer of how much and what is needed to port your account will be like building a house from scratch! Maybe they've gotten too big that they've hired techs and customer service that are not trained in their own product.

Pros

extremely poor and slow customer service.

The work groups make it easy to work the claims, we still have some glitches to be worked out but so far so good!

I haven’t found much that I don’t like. I just wish some of the “catches” were easier to fix.

Separates each client by system and shows individually and total rejected claims. Can see claims of all statuses at any point in time.

Cons

So many e-mails about every little thing and multiple each day. Really easy to cancel claims even if the problem was not fixed.

Overall, you are able to generate and send all billing with ease. I've ran revenue cycle departments using this product and find it meets all the needs to be efficient and accurate. I've used Ability and is much easier to navigate.

Pros

is an easy to use software to manage your revenue cycle. It is simple to teach those that have had no experience using it. The RA's are easy to post in your system. It is easy to navigate.

Cons

They only keep information up to 2 years, so when you are audited or are researching old balances, you can't find the EOB's. There needs to be a feature that you can send claims to and make changes to the claim without it electronically going to a payor. (IV home health claims). Customer service is lacking people who have actually used the product. So, when you call they don't understand the issue. They are slow.... in responding to tickets/issues.

We’ve used Zirmed/ for years after switching from Gateway EDI (now Trizetto). It’s so much more user friendly and easier to search for information in batches. The customer support is WAY better, as well. Waystar has tickets you can track yourself, where as if you open a ticket in Trizetto you can’t see it afterwards so you have to keep your own records so they don’t forget about you.

Pros

is the most user friendly and comprehensive clearinghouse I’ve ever used. It’s extremely simple to search out needed information. It links with our Practice Management software systems making file submission a breeze. And the batch history And search options make it easy to Find anything you’re looking for. I like that it has a patient credit card payment feature, but I admit, we’re not using that to the full extent it’s capable of, yet.

Cons

The reporting could be more extensive. We don’t have the analytics feature because the same info is in our systems, but I’m sure that would solve that issue. The billing is a little confusing. We have a parent account that used to be Zirmed and another large account that used to be Navicure. They are now both since they merged but the billing is completely different on both accounts.

I have been working with for over 20 years and would recommend the ease of use.

Pros

We are able to have claim sweeps hourly and 277 transactions feed back into our system to ensure full claims process. Any errors are routed appropriately. We also use the eligibility and claim status functions. Having the ability to check eligibility without going to a payer portal is a game changer.

Cons

Support seems to have declined since the beginning of Covid. We have reached out multiple times with questions on our invoices with no response. Our account representative insists this is not their place to assist with invoices.

Pros

is integrated with my electronic records program. It was very straightforward to get started. This makes my daily life better. We are all humans and being able to review what I did or didn't do is a blessing.

We are a small company and do not need a lot if the features meant for physicians.

Fantastic software - absolutely incompetent service.

Pros

We've used Zirmed for quite a few years. The product itself is great! Intuitive, effective, everything. We prefer to every other clearinghouse we've tried.

Cons

purchased Zirmed a couple years ago. Now, the service is amount the worst I've ever heard of. Currently, about 65% of my bill goes toward a feature that I don't believe we're using. I've been through months and months of emails, calls and service tickets trying to get an answer to the very simple question, "What am I paying for?". The only confident answers I've gotten have been inaccurate, but most simply don't know. They refer me to other departments. The best part is that they also caution us not to turn off the feature, because if it is serving a purpose (which no one can confirm/deny), then we may not be able to restore it after it is turned off. It is an awful shame that this ridiculous company bought and ruined our favorite clearinghouse. We are currently looking for a product (all of which we prefer less than the zirmed product) that is being offered by a minimally operative company. The transition is very challenging - please, if you're looking for a clearinghouse, DO NOT allow yourself to become dependent on these clowns. Its where we are now and its a bad spot to be in.

Day to day insurance validity checks and billing that has a set price per bill instead per page. National address database check before sending bills to the wrong clinic

Pros

Able to run my clinic day to day knowing that patients have valid insurance and possible deductible amount. Allows us to give best patient care without unknowing giving the patient a big bill that will be from care rendered and deductible amount. Zirmed increases my clinic's ability to inform patient of deductible amounts prior so that patient understands amount they may be billed and the reason for the bill. From this, it gives patients the autonomy in their care. Zirmed also has a billing service that allows for import from billing software with set prices per bill (not page) and it checks a national database with address to make sure the bill is going to the correct patient.

Cons

The may con I have had with this is that our clinic representative left the company and we were not informed and the phone number wasn't reassigned or disconnected, which left me waiting for a return call that never came. After calling customer service, I was then reassigned

Pros

The software is easy to maneuver through. I can easily find results for claims that have been submitted. Such as received date and time.

Cons

I have no dislike about the software. When there are issues with the software we are immediately notified. When payors cancel service with the software we are immediately notified.

Overall has been invaluable to our company. It's a one stop shop for us for claims and payments.

Pros

This product is contracted with most insurance companies to submit Professional or Institutional claims all in one place. And, it also provides electronic remittances. Product is very easy to use and customer service is always there to help. We only use the product for claims submissions, remittances and patient billing. We don't use it for eligibility checks.

Cons

I don't like that we sometimes have to wait months for customer service to come up with a resolution for any claims issues we have. And, sometimes it takes weeks for a customer service representative to work on our cases. We also wished to would give us more details on patient eligibility, but they don't and so we don't use it for that.
