## What is GuestVision?

GuestVision is a Windows based solution that is flexible, reliable, and easy to use. Built on Microsoft SQL Server, GuestVision gives you the features you need to efficiently run and grow your salon. Automatic reports by email along with remote access and central office management allow you to manage your salon wherever you have internet access. Additional modules include payroll, advanced scheduled reporting, guest email marketing module, and pinpad/ debit card processing support.

When I came on board, our company was already using this software. It was -- not everything we needed it to be. And with the lack of customer support, we switched all our locations to a different booking software.

Pros

I liked that this was designed specifically for schools like ours - beauty schools. It allowed student attendance and easy booking.

Cons

At the time we were using it (pre-2010), customer service was very poor. Lots of the features they have now were not deployable (online booking, text, self check-in, digital menu board). I am glad to see they have added those features in a way it might actually be able to execute.

Pros

User friendly, great reports. Stylist find it easy to check guests in and out. Very customizable. Great features!

Cons

I wish it had a feature to find duplicate guests. The printing of reports can get tricky.don't always fit on page as it should.

Pros

I like the fact that it doesnt seem hard to learn most are students that learn it in my industry and they seem to go through it and find it easy

Cons

I dont like the fact that coupons when created dont do what you think they will do as far as the discounts.. i think this part needs to be a little more clear to admins that have to do discounts and coupons

Pros

Multiple functions. You can set the functions you use on a daily basis. Very customize-able. Easiest program I've used.

Cons

It is slow. It freezes constantly if you have too much going on. Very difficult to get assistance with issues.

This software has helped us grow our salon business and manage our student body. It has also allowed us to maintain accurate inventory and reporting.

Pros

This software has been very stable for us over the past 5+ years. We integrate it with our SIS which allows for automated student profile creation/updating and attendance posting. We use the system to also drive our salon business through custom reporting and discounting.

Cons

It's been a while since we received an upgrade to fix any current bugs. However, what have now has been stable for us.

Paid too much for this product! Very difficult to implement. After paying over 12K to purchase the software I am billed 2K each year on top of that for support. The bleeding never stops! This product has caused more issues and problems with my students then I care to share. Looking for a product to replace my poor choice of Guest Vision software.
