As I have stated above, we have significantly unique needs and MemberLeap has been eager to collaborate with us to solve for those needs on ambitious timelines. Pros Out of the box, MemberLeap is a feature rich association management tool. But what gives MemberLeap the distinct advantage is their dedication to improving the product in customer-centric ways. We have numerous unique needs in our association, MemberLeap has taken the time to personally understand our needs and has partnered with us in expanding their capabilities to fill our needs. Cons It is hard to think of reasons to not like MemberLeap. As I said in my title, our association is very pleased with our partnership thus far! December 11, 2024 5.0 Our organization went from tracking everything on a multitude of different excel sheets to having everything automated by MemberLeap. It has been such a great experience and we have been able to focus on actual projects instead of just making sure things stay running. Pros Member database, events calendar, membership cards, just everything being automated. Also, their team is incredibly friendly and helpful, always looking for creative solutions to give you exactly what you need. Cons Not the most user friendly system. There are a ton of help articles and demo videos, and the team is always there to help so you will be just fine. Just expect to invest a good amount of time into learning how to operate it. Always super helpful and willing to figure out a way to get done what we need. If you like the product you'll love the client service they offer. Pros It's a pretty easy product to learn and has a ton of features. Our members had an easy time logging on and adjusting to the new product. The best part of MemberLeap is their customer service though. They made our transition to a new system so much easier. They always get back to you the same day or within 24 hours. It's the reason why we have several of our clients on the product now. Cons The interface is not as simplified as it could be. It would be nice to have everything in a column on the side so it's easier to get to, like Membership, Meetings, Store, etc. Their reporting feature needs work also, too many steps to get the report you need. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH - they are amazing about responding and answering questions or adding little fixes & features without charging extra. And they don't advertise & market aggressively, (unlike a half dozen other companies that I regretted asking for their free demo almost immediately because they wouldn't leave me alone for years afterward. That's not Memberleap !) Cons There are a couple places where the modules could be a little smoother in integrating with each other but overall it works very well. We were losing event registrations and didn't know why, and had to manually update our email list from our (separate) database every time we sent a message out, etc.,- it was impacting the quality of my work as a staff person and taking a ton of my time. The partnership involved in moving our system over to MemberLeap was outstanding. We love the features in our new system and how easy it is to use. The Zoom integration is awesome! Cons Some of the screen fonts are too small. The people I have worked with including the creator \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], have all been so professional. I have had nothing but a superb experience working with all of the programmers that work with Memberleap. Pros We chose Memberleap (previously Vieth Consulting) twenty two years ago, because they were the only company available who could give our organization every thing we wanted. We needed a member database which could be deliniated by several categories. We needed to have a website to which we would be able to make changes to and not have everything a 'canned' product. Cons At the present time, I cannot think of any cons regarding this software for our organization. Communications Chair Higher Education Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Had to switch in a hurry from an over-priced product" October 6, 2023 5.0 We had to switch Association Management System providers within two weeks because our previous provider did not honor the price we had negotiated with them. We didn't need lots of functionality immediately but we did need dues payment and member management quickly. We needed an attractive front end and we got all of these. As we need to add more things to the website it's easy to do in comparison to the labyrinth our previous product was. Pros The product has a lot of functionality but the interface is easy to learn. Customer Support is phenomenal with someone getting back to us within hours and answering questions, making fixes or access to new functionality easy. The product price is so low compared to what we had. Cons The Admin interface is hard to learn unless you have something specific to do. Once you get into a module it's easy to figure out what to do. April 20, 2022 5.0 Having used MemberLeap for TWO different organizations, I can say with confidence that MemberLeap is an awesome AMS. Our websites are beautiful, easy to navigate for the user and easy to update for administrators. Event registration is easy to set up and nice that it takes payment without sending to another website. Reports are customizable and easy to set up, download, etc. I love Memberleap. Would choose them again! Pros When I can't figure something out on my own by reading their HelpDesk articles/watching their instructional videos, I can email the Customer Support team and they will very quickly tell me how to fix my issue and often they just fix it for me and teach me how to do it myself next time. The software has a plethora of customization options and any specific functionality we have added has been handled flawlessly by their team pf programmers. Cons If I had any suggestions it would be to increase the training sessions when going through the onboarding process. Only one team member wasn’t as extremely friendly as all the others and lacked some follow up on our questions. We liked that they are a locally based company so we checked out their business operations. Pros I could understand the functionality and I only have general technology skills. This package will enable our group of volunteer Judges to vastly increase our communication and get better organized. The calendar, message boards, and mass emails are especially helpful trying to run an organization of volunteers without an executive director. Cons There are a few layers to get through to create designs and some areas can be frustrating when you forget how to do something. February 12, 2019 5.0 Association management databases can be tricky; MemberLeap helped us customize the site to work with specific needs with different types of membership. They have also helped us figure out a way to merge and sync 3 different databases into one, each maintaining their own integrity. Pros We used MemberLeap several years ago to custom build our association sites, and when the time came to add a new site, it was an easy decision. They have a great and attentive staff; their system is very user-friendly; issues and problems are resolved quickly; and any custom updates made are available to all clients. Cons The only issue I've had (which MemberLeap staff helped me work through) was in figuring out the grid editor on our template. Other than that, the software is very easy to use. We were looking for a more seamless software company that could do it all and we were not disappointed with MemberLeap Pros I was so used to the bad treatment from my old software company that I almost couldn't believe that MemberLeap was as helpful and courteous as they seemed. Every time I have a problem, they are quick to help. I love their videos that are specially made for me and automatically downloaded on my file archives for future reference. Amazing website design/implementation. Pros The software is easy to use and most functions we need are included. Anything not included is easy to add on for a reasonable fee. They have been very accommodating. Everything is much more efficient. This is the second non-profit I have brought to Member Leap. I liked the company so much and the product offering worked so well that when it came time to I recommended my new employer use MemberLeap. Cons Some things could be improved such as the store/merch design. I find it a bit basic. We also ran into some trouble with the donation function not being nearly as robust as we needed. We are a non-profit so that is a major area for us. We were able to come up with a reasonable work around without having to spend money on customization but eventually we will need to beef it up. The MemberLeap team kept us informed during every step of the process and they've been very responsive to any inquiries we've had. Pros MemberLeap's product is very easy to navigate. We moved from a website provider who did everything for us to one where we have much more control and access to make changes. The training sessions were very helpful and the library of other support items (videos, tutorials, text documents, etc.) is extensive. Cons We've not yet encountered any significant negative experiences with the software. As with any new product there are sometimes things you have to work around.
