I have been using it for almost 4 years, and it has made my work easier to handle. Pros I enjoy how I can access Buildium via my computer, iPad, cell phone, however I need to do so to get my work done. I also enjoy how we can now autofill the work order from the task. I used to use Rent Manager and compared to that, Buildium is so much easier. Pros It's very straightforward and pretty easy to use - just click the "green button" and it pretty much leads the way; but when you find yourself in a jam, the customer service can solve just about any issue you are having and they are happy to do so! Pros As a Property Manager, it is really very important to have a user friendly yet very efficient program to work with and Buildium has made it possible. The prices are not extremely different than others but I am loving it and would like to stick with it. Cons Nothing as such. I have used other programs but found this software more user friendly and easy to navigate. You have to wait at least 30 minutes to get an answer; simultaneously, you are receiving a message "Press 2 to get a call back..." and it doesn't work. When you tell the operator, she says it's because of many calls, but it never worked. An account manager who should help you tells you to call customer support. They give no help or training to set up an account, and I was paying for an upgraded plan for the support that sales person promised. Save your money. DO not use them. I don't know how they recive these good reviews, most likely they pay for them. Pros Nothing. They overpromissed and didn't deliver. Cons They charge credit card fees from the landloard and can't provide information about who paid with a credit card. I think what they are doing is a fraud. I didn't even receive the amount of money through their system that they charged me a fee. The way they transfer money, it's inconvenient. They combine and split the transfers a weir way. Reason for choosing Buildium They promised fast transfer and great support. You can manage alot of your activities from tasks, to bids, to workorders all in one job. I like the simple app for residents to use. I am pleased overall. Pros It's modern, sleek, simple and user friendly. Cons It's pretty pricey. Some of the reporting can be more intuitive. I wish they had more detailed reporting similar to quickbooks style. They caused us so much headache. Pros Not much I can say that is positive after they caused us major losses. Cons Lost all of our data after they told us we would have access for 60 days after account ended. Charged us for subscription then turned off tenant turner so we could not use it for the last month of our account being active. Every time I needed support they were unable to resolve anything. I definitely recommend for small growing PM firms who are cost conscious and don't meet the requirements for some of the other software. Pros I like that Buildium is affordable and easy to use. I would also say they have better than average support for a PM software. Cons It is not as customizable as other property management software, so it is important to review this software carefully before choosing it. Buildium and Happy Co Inspections are greatly integrated. Our business would not be the same without them! Pros It allows clear docmented communication between us, the tenants, and the owners. All their financial documents and monthly bills can be easily tracked in one place. Only one place to track rent payments is the most efficient system. Cons Sometimes slow to start up, especially with Bill Pay, Mailings, and it can be frustrating with the new email settings to move forward with composing emails and sending them out in a fast an accurate manner.
