Payroll Manager Medical Devices Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Timekeeping Made Easy" October 6, 2020 5.0 The team that assisted us during our migration were very helpful and engaging during the whole process. They helped ensure that our system was set up and functioning exactly as we needed it to. They even added features for our person import that we previously didn't have, thereby removing quite a bit of manual data entry. Pros The software is easy to use as the functionality from Kronos WFC to Dimensions has not changed. I had 40 payroll users to train on editing timecards and running reports. My training sessions only lasted about 10 minutes and many of the users preferred the new system layout and reporting. Cons Migrating from the current system to Dimensions is not an apples to apples move. The layout of the system was different than our current set up so we had to build what I felt was a more complex structure. Reason for choosing UKG Pro We chose Dimensions because Adobe Flash will no longer be supported after December 2020 and therefore we had to find another solution. Since we were already using Kronos WFC and were happy with that Kronos product we decided to stay with Kronos and migrate to Dimensions. Cons Difficulty to find things sometimes. Could be the way it is set up for my company. Wish I could set up my dashboard the way I want it to look instead of a single dashboard view for the entire company. April 19, 2018 5.0 Pros Online portal is easy to navigate and use for self service, and the reporting capabilities are phenomenal. Excel based customizable reports for almost anything. Cons Back office is a little bit clunky to use when first learning, but after getting used to it, it's not an issue. It is unbelievable how much Ultipro can offer. We have been using this for a while now and it is keeping up with our advancing needs. Our team is pleased with this software, it has helped us greatly and lightened our load. Cons Upon the first usage of this software, our team had a massive difficulty in learning how to operate it. Pros UKG Pro is very versatile, easy to access, and even easier to use as a daily tool in the workplace for both employers and employees. Cons there really isn't much to not like about UKG Pro, as an user and not an administrator I am sure there's many more tools and option I don't know of but it has always worked correctly for me. Pros A great system for managing HR employees records. April 23, 2020 2.0 To resolve the issue with long-running imports, Kronos wants me to write new extract query (one that worked fine for WFC). So instead of resolving their performance issues, they are asking the customer to solve the problem. Pros At the moment - not much. The new GUI is nice in that it is Java and Flash Free. Cons Integrations take hours - versus the minutes they took in Workforce Central. How do you move a system to a new database (Apache Cassandra) and use a new Integration tool (Dell Boomi) and sell this as a new and improved system. Features available in WFC are not available in WFD - can't sign off on all timecards in one action. When you view a timecard, it shows you the current day. Not many managers or editors are looking to just edit a single day. This default shows the developers don't know their customers SQL free DB means we cannot query our data. Have to develop dataviews or use provided APIs in their Data Extract tool. I seriously doubt all custom queries I wrote for WFC can be reproduced. Pros The reporting is "pretty," but ineffective due to the migration process altering the data. Cons It is very difficult to find information, and takes many more clicks than the Recruitment module. I also like that I can access it from anywhere because they have an app for mobile, app for PC and a website. Pros I like that they have an app and you can use the time clock no matter where you are. It records your location which is great for the company because they know if your at work or not Cons Too many tabs are available without a solid explanation on how to or why you could/should change things. Pros The true value in UltiPro is in the powerful IBM Cognos Business Intelligence reporting system which provides powerful reporting metrics on almost anything you could imagine. There are many out of the box reports pre-configured and you can build your own to meet your individual customized business needs. It's highly reliable and customer support is great. Cons The application has limited flexibility in some areas which makes going 100% paperless difficult. It lacks some if this then that type situations which would greatly improve functionality. Very intuitive UI, easy to find what you need, and the implementation was a very smooth process. Take care when considering your implementation time frame. Many times we think of new FY but check to see where that falls with holidays on both sides. Pros Very easy for the end users to use for their day to day needs. Great support and available resources from UltiPro throughout implementation and after that to ensure we got the most of what was available. There is a learning component for content, but that still needs more work. Highly customizable, modular approach (get the features/functionality you actually need), and integrates well with other systems. Cons Can fall on the higher end as far as cost, but worth the money for the features and support. The learning feature definitely still needs work, so I would not consider this an all-in-one solution as far as HR all the way through learning and development. Take care when choosing a separate LMS as many require an annual or one-time fee to connect to UltiPro and other HR solutions. Review Source AS Annette S. Human Resources Financial Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "We have been using Ultipro software for our HRIS System serving 1,000 employees" November 14, 2017 4.0 Access to all employees HR files Pros I like the various functions that Ultipro is capable of. From payroll, Time clock and time off control, keeping a database of employees positions, salaries, name, address, email address, PTO and Personal Day bank and actual time clock. There is an applicant tracking system but we don't use it at this point. Cons There is a lack of support from the Ultimate software team. Any requests for service take an inordinate length of time. (months). The service is then not done correctly. We had file feeds giving our 3rd party providers wrong dates of employment, number of hours worked incorrectly. So we had to manually update this provider with the correct information. This delayed our employees getting approved for Family Medical Leave Act and Short Term Disability. When contactly Ultimate, they were not accommodating in getting the file feeds corrected, even though it was their fault. The initial launch of Ultipro was rough as well. Wrong data and mistakes in the files with Ultimate Software Team unaccommodating. Review Source AT Ashley T. The evaluation was very easy to setup. We pushed the evaluation out to employees based on their job title. Cons The one issue that we have found is that the supervisor is not updated when someone leaves the company. You have to manually update the employees that were assigned to that supervisor. I love all the uncountable excellent services that Ultipro offers us. Pros I personally prefer excellent HR site of this product. I like the fast Payroll processing of UltiPro. Its ease of use is another interesting feature. It provides easy ways of navigating. It let us quickly log in or out. It can be easily accessible. In order to have quick information, I found its mobile application a great blessing indeed. Paying history and many other things can be easily viewed with the help of it. Cons As far as I am concerned with this software, I have not found any negative side of this superb website. I never face any hindrance while using it. I recently became full-time with my employer of 5 1/2yrs and you have to log onto Ultipro for access to your benefits, punch in and out times and other personal things related to my job, you can also change where your direct deposit goes too as well. Very easy to navigate through as well. I'd highly recommend it, and it gives the organizational list of everyone from the top all the way down to lowest and you can send an email or call (which is listed) in case you need to communicate to a higher up manager for an issue you may have or to compliment anyone you've worked with. Pros You can easily choose between what benefits you want and no longer want. Cons Nothing I can think of. It is fairly easy to use. We have work arounds but sometimes there is more work involved since they cannot be fully configured to what we need. Some simple things are not available, or work in a strange way (i.e. the way someone needs to submit a background check). Pros My favorite thing about this software is the convenience of our employees being able to see all of their paystubs from the app on their phone. Cons The customer service isn't great.
