Pros the easy of use is hands down bare to none, software is easily accessibly from anywhere and any device. We are able to access UKG to view our payroll, t4, ytd statements via website. Cons this product is so simple and easy to use that I cannot think of any cons. It is capable of managing and tracking leaves, absences, overtime, salary, incentives, payroll and many more. UltiPro allows me to document our employees’ feedbacks and work goals. The time tracking feature allowed detailed time-in and out of an employee. UltiPro provides many different features that it will definitely help any Human Resource working with a larger workforce. Cons There are important features that do not allow too much detailing or is character limited, which is difficult, especially if the specific field requires longer information. There are great tools for predicting my paycheck, which lets me plan better for deductions, and for choosing and changing my benefits selection. Cons It can be hard to learn new functions if I don't immediately find them intuitive. I often find myself thinking that a function must exist somewhere, but that I don't know where to find it. Onboarding has become much easier, especially having the documents upload. Pros We've been using Recruiting & Onboarding for a little over 2 years now. Overall, it's a good product. Cons I would like to see the ability to share candidate pools, modify the automated email which is sent with Offers , and make it possible to add application questions and keep them in a fixed position so that the list doesn't move around each time an edit is made. From healthcare information to paystubs. UKG Pro has it all. I like not having to navigate through 3-5 different websites and finding all my required assignments and tools in one website. It has been an amazing HR tool to keep me on track with all the required trainings and communicating my needs and concerns in one location. It's a pretty intuitive website and the app has been super friendly to use. Cons I don't have any cons, I prefer this over some of the other HR programs that I had to use in the past. January 7, 2020 5.0 Overall the product works great, and my company states it is an affordable alternative. Pros We have been using Ultipro for about 4 years, and it works great. We manage our time sheets, as well as employee performances in the program. Cons My biggest con as a user is having a difficult time telling when I punched out, or if I had just punched out minutes ago. This causes a lot of dependencies. It has integrated payroll, HR solutions, timecard, and easy to use mobile application that synchs with the site. Cons Certainl networks have blocked it because of its cloud based infrastructure. Make sure to have someone on site who can focus on it's functionality and make it work the best for your company. Pros I like the ability to mark an area as a favorite so that I don't have to navigate through a bunch of windows in order to find what I use most often. Cons We have had a lot of issues with using it on the Chrome browser, which is the primary browser that I use. The search doesn't appear to really find what I'm looking for, I try to be less detailed in my search criteria or more detailed and still the same limited responses. I also love how you can see every pay statement. Cons So far I have not had any issues with UltiPro, but sometimes it can run a but slow but that also might be my laptop and not the software itself. Marketing Assistant Publishing Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Great for managing HR/Accounting Info" August 3, 2018 4.0 Pros I used Ultipro at my most recent job and I loved having quick online access to my pay stubs, benefits, etc. I was able to enroll in benefits very easily and I received my W-2 much faster by opting in for an electronic document. Having this platform even helped me during a busy time in my life where I had to find a new apartment and purchase a car within the same week (job moved). Having proof of income on hand at all times is one of the best benefits of having Ultipro. I can get whatever I need without adding anything to HR or Accounting's workload. Cons The worst part about having Ultipro had shown itself around review time. The platform was absolutely not intuitive and the entire company had a hard time submitting reviews. The way the questions were worded was so odd and the instructions were so vague and unclear. We eventually had to move the due date for reviews and give all of the managers an additional 30 days to complete reviews because no one knew what to do. It was ridiculous. Cons The software was not user-friendly in the least, and took a great deal of training to bring the daily users and the employees up to speed on how it works. Pros UltiPro is very easy to use and I have information at the touch of my fingertips. It is easy to log onto and start using right away. It is a very friendly system and easy to find information. If I am unable to do something the ulit-university is just a click away or I can always create a case and get a call back within 24 hours. The ulti staff are excellent and are always helpful. I can always log on anywhere and complete my work. Cons The mobile app does not always work for my employees to clock in and out on. I don't need all that this software is capable of, and don't use every feature. I believe some features were not implemented, so clicking on certain things doesn't do anything, which is frustrating when trying to do a simple thing like see your vacation totals. MOST annoying is having to change my password every couple of months. Why? And you can't reuse any passwords. Maybe these things are customized. Pros Lots of info at my fingertips. Can make changes to my personal info without bothering HR staff. Able to see current paystubs, past, and vacation info at any time of day, and it's updated at least every week. A very complex, but complete application as far as I can see. But that doesn't always make it easy to use. Cons Slow to use. Hard to navigate and find what I want. Things are not laid out logically. Abbreviations and terms are cryptic and illogical. They may make sense to the designer, but not to the rest of us. I suppose most of these function are custom, so perhaps the software company should not be blamed. Clicking on some tabs or buttons opens a blank page or folder. Overall, it takes way too long to find things and use the software. It takes 4 or 5 mouse clicks just to print a paystub, for instance. And there's no way to print a range of them. If there are shortcuts to these types of things, they are not obvious or shown. Review Source AP Amy P. Cons The implementation was rough - it took months before we had a smooth payroll run. Perhaps this was because the software was in it's early stages? We no longer have frequent issues and the system works fairly well now. Accrual tracking can be confusing for employees because of different displays.
