Having everything connected in one system makes it much easier to manage tasks efficiently without switching between multiple platforms. It helps streamline workflows, reduces manual work, and improves overall accuracy. The ability to access learning resources alongside everyday administrative tools also supports employee development while keeping operations organized. Cons What I like least about UKG Pro right now is mainly the user interface, which could benefit from a more modern and intuitive design. There can be a steep learning curve, but once you get there, it's pretty great. Cons The learning curve is steep for some areas/aspects of the system. And enabling functions for certain areas is not as intuitive as "turning it on" you have to assign security roles that often conflict or give unexpected access. Has required significant time investments and financial investments that do not appear to be paying off. Pros Ability to distribute HR maintenance workload to multiple staff members with restricted access levels. Cons Accounting issues reconciling bank activity to software exports. Large manual efforts needed to record payroll after entering and paying. Wide range of issues from week to week, which are very slow to be resolved by overworked customer support personnel. Compared to our previous system (zuman) there is much for functionality but there are still things UltiPro doesn't have that we need. Pros Ease of use, has an actual phone application, can print hard copy stubs/pay receipts when needed and tracks time off/vacation hours earned, direct deposit and tax forms integrated in it. How do you learn a system and then teach Supervisors/ Managers to use a system that doesn't feel comfortable yet. It's just not easy. Pros Tracking FMLA/ STD is made easier for us who still use spreadsheets. No longer needed. Cons Complicated access to each area and window. The reports are difficult to find and determine which to use. I also enjoy that you can personalize it to fit your needs. Cons What I like least about this software is how long it takes to "record" a punch on the time clock. I also don't like that I have to remember to submit my time at the end of a pay period. It is easy to forget this. I input my hours, request vacation time, look at my paycheck, and check for job openings. It's also where my work stores our documents, such as employee handbooks and calendars. One of my favorite functions is the organizational chart, it's handy, in a big organization, to know who reports to whom. It's also helpful if I forget a new employee's name. Cons I wish my employers took more advantage of some of Ultipro's features, such as the goals, personal development, and talent sections. Review Source JM James M. I don't have to try and track my hours on a spreadsheet...I can see all of my previous timesheets and current weeks hours in Ultipro. Pros I love the ability to see your timesheet and paystub in one program. I love being able to go into your timesheet and adjust your hours in the event you forgot to clock in. Cons I wish there was a way to see all the PTO requests for my team members. Often times, if I knew that my team members already have a certain day off or have put in requests for a certain week I would know to look for alternate days off. Review Source JP Jordan P. Does it need a lot of work to improve their performance and accessibility? Yes. Overall though this product does what it promises and if that what your looking for, I'd recommended it in a heartbeat. Pros I like that they have a mobile app you can download from the app store. Makes things more convenient then to have to log onto you laptop or home computer to check your statements. Cons I like the mobile app yes but there has to be a lot of work done on it. I feel like certain things are harder then they have to for instance, sometimes I would forget my password and have to log onto two different computers just to create a new password and log in. Also find that if your using your phone and you go on the browser it gives you more details and an in depth look into your statement more then the actual app which defeats the purpose. I just feel as there needs to be more R&D for this software to become perfect. Pros Nothing ,it is clunky old technology. Stay Away.... Poor support. Difficult to use, Non-intuitive. Very expensive. Cons We purchased a company that had contracted with Ultipro. Our experience has been awful. The original contract allows absurd annual price increases, and locked us into a minimum term. February 2, 2019 4.0 Pros The best thing I enjoy about UltiPro is the ease with viewing past payrolls. This is a great feature, especially with tax season upon us. Another thing that I enjoy about UltiPro is the ability to schedule your time off online through the web browser, or through the app. UltiPro makes the life of a professional much easier than it would without! Cons Although almost everything is perfect with UltiPro, the only "bad" thing I would say about it is that the app makes you re-log in every 30 days, regardless if you save your password or not. This is not a major inconvenience, however, as it takes a few seconds, but other than that, this software is flawless! It was pretty easy to work with and had been configured to hold a lot of useful information. Cons Nothing really comes to mind. It was useful and functional for what it needed to do. Pros I like that this program offers a central location to do all the HR aspects of hiring and taking care of employees as far as payroll, clocking in, and other HR related tasks or information employees might need access to. Cons The two downfalls of this program is employees having a hard time accessing the program from home if they needed to change tax information, personal information, or just check their time sheets and payroll. There has also been a glitch with a few employees not being able to log into their account all of a sudden an when the try to reset their password the program just refreshes the password reset page. It can be really frustraiting bevasie now we have to utilize out companies help desk to correct it which can take a few days. I only use UltiPro for requesting time off to my manager. Hopefully our use of UltiPro extends to that function only. Cons Just a couple of things which I find annoying: Every time I log in, I always had to go through the Password Reset Delivery Method page before we can see the main page. It's just one click, I know, but couldn't we just go to the Account Settings page to change it just like the rest of the world's applications do? Also, clicking on the Time Management button opens up a totally new window. This one I don't understand why, when the page I just left off remained completely empty. The support we receive is very good and they continually enhance their product. I also love how they take their customers ideas and make them reality within the software. Pros Ease of use and Support is AWESOME! Also like the ideas page where customers can give ideas to enhance their product and everyone can vote on them. Those with high votes usually become reality in the software. Cons New reporting is not as user friendly as I would like. Also, not being able to future date Life Events is a huge problem. Pros This software has so many great features that I love such as payroll and tax, pay check stubs, benefit management to name a few. Cons The many valuable resources that this software has that aids in keeping an HR team organized with efficiency; as such, I cannot find anything to negate usage from this product. It labels what everything is in a convenient toolbar. Cons My issues was with the PTO bank. There was a glitch in the system that made it reflect I had less PTO time than I did and the HR manager had to get involved. I also don't like needing to get managers to change times for me. February 14, 2020 5.0 Ultipro is an awesome product and Ultimate software is a great company. They want to provide a great customer experience. It is nice they also have so many partners you can work with to ensure all your systems are integrated. Pros Ultipro offers a comprehensive range of products. They stay are constantly working to improve or change their system as needed with changes in laws or customer needs. It is easy to use. You can customize it.
