" July 15, 2018 5.0 Pros Ultipro is easily customizable depending on what discovery questions you need. It can be Parameter specific and can be tailored to cater different line of businesses and departments. It can accommodate a huge organization. We have 2,000 employees under our department alone. And our operation spans over 5 major cities. If we are talking about a large scale operation, the system can handle it without a doubt. Cons The actual process of customizing the program is not handled by our department. I'm at the receiving end of the process, but i can see the work that you need to put into this to establish that point of discovery per department. So the more department you have, the more work you have to put in. Which is totally understandable. I really like the concept of when you need info pertaining to your compensation, you can go and find it yourself online rather than wait on a supervisor or HR manager. You can manage your time if you missed a time punch, you can alter it. You can request for time off and get it approved in the same place. It's a great software for employee management. Pros It is very safe to use and I can do everything in this software. I clock in and out, I can view/change my benefits, change my direct deposit, and my personal information. It keeps everything in one place and very easy to use. It's not complicated to figure out. The human resources department has information there as well. Cons There isn't anything I really do not like. I would say it is difficult to get some documents to come up under the employee document page. I wish it would include pictures of the employees. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a functional and effective tool like UltiPro. Pros UltiPro is a great tool or time management and employee information. This software takes out the guesswork for employees and helps the user plan ahead and understand where they stand in regards to PTO and payday schedules. Multiple times my answers were not saved in the system and I consistently had to restart. This was really frustrating and the HR person had to email UltiPro several times. I don't even think they actually fixed the problem, though they did reach out to me. I ultimately solved it on my own. So my thought process is that it works well until you need it to do something outside the norm. Pros Everyone talks about how great UltiPro is and I feel underwhelmed. It works but I am by no means blown away. Being an end user, there's not a lot I need from and it and it usually delivers. Cons I dislike the names of the links within the software. Whenever I try to submit a PTO request, I end up on the page that describes HOW to submit a PTO request. This should be clearer. Review Source JR Jo R. Some tasks take more steps than they could and sometimes contain important buttons that are not immediately obvious, the functionality is overall intuitive for most individuals. Pros Ultipro packs in a lot of useful information into a relatively simple design that allows access to many features from a small webpage footprint. Virtually all information can be accessed from the main menu which makes navigation very concise. Additionally access to the recently visited menu makes viewing commonly used pages easy to find. Cons When using Ultipro for the first time, it takes a bit of orienting to find the tabs the user is looking for. Most links are found in the main menu which requires opening and moving past the default favorites tab to access the links. While making the favorites tab the first may seem intuitive, the relatively small amount of links in the "myself" menu makes it confusing to users at first. Ultipro also seems to allow quite a lot of customization from the company operating the application which can leave it feeling barren or overly simple but still functional. It is easy to use and simplified. Pros I have used many different employee portals, and UltiPro is by far the most user friendly. It is easy to update, add, view, etc. information and keep track of everything in one place. I don't have to go into multiple softwares to check pay vs. time management vs. employee docs, etc. UltiPro is a one stop shop. Cons At first, it takes a little bit to navigate. It has a really simple home screen, and then a few sections with multiple more sub sections. Once you figure those few tabs, you're good to go. As a user that doesn’t work in the software every day, all day long it’s not hard to find your way to whatever hr process you’re trying to accomplish. Way easier to configure and to use. Also, the universal device manager makes it easy to manage the clocks. There are many out of the box data views and reports. Cons The biggest con is the business structure. It is the new backbone to the product. It replaces labor level. It is not as flexible as it should be, especially if you company is always changing or realigning. July 29, 2018 2.0 Pros Ultipro allows HR teams to dump all of their information into one platform. Otherwise, there is pretty much nothing redeemable. Cons The information isn't sorted in a way that makes any intuitive sense. The search functionality is truncated so that only exact matches for documents rather than items within them come up. The user experience is that of spending 5-10 minutes trying to find what you're looking for with every visit to this site. Furthermore, coding of time sheets is unnecessarily complicated. I love that I can see my paystubs and access all my information but I dislike the login experience Pros You can Access your paystubs and w2 forms and see your sick and vacation days. You can access your personal information and if u want Direct deposit. Cons I do not like signing in process at all. Cons I believe the integration took a while for the recruitment piece, but that's mainly because it had just recently been rolled out when we started to implement it. Most recently implemented for my current company with a live date of 1/1/18. We condensed our implementation into 6 months and they were the only ones willing to accommodate the timeline. I couldn't be happier with the product over the years and they continue to make every module better. They are great partners and I genuinely enjoy working with them. I can print off paycheck and W2s myself. Pros That there is an app version. The ease of use through the website and app. Are outstanding. I pull up my app to check timesheets, paychecks, and w-2s. Cons Sometime UltiPro server is down. It’s rare but when it is it’s an inconvenience. With the amount of employees it is a pain to have to manually put in everyone’s hours. March 23, 2018 4.0 I loved the experience of launching a different HRIS system and I really appreciated having so much information all in one system. Pros I loved being able to keep payroll and other human resource information in the same system. I also loved being able to post jobs and gather applications from this resource. Cons The worst part about this system was the changeover and start up. The customer service was not great and it seemed like the turnover for that company during our transition was really high and a lot of communication was lost.
