Cons The goal tasks in UltiPro can be hard to manage through the site, often with notifications that remain after they are registered. It serves our needs, but Ultipro's customer service in helping resolve issues is not great. Pros We like that it is one unified system for HRIS, ATS, & L&D. It is customizable and once implemented it is easy to use. It has many features, like a mobile app, which makes it suitable for employees who are out of the office on business to use. Pros This software allowed our company to combine platforms into one user experience. It is easy to use and pretty comprehensive. It allows our employees to use a mobile app, in addition to the user site, to keep track of their time and information. Cons It had a few kinks when it was implemented. Our employees had to make a few sacrifices to use this platform, like inflexible pay dates that needed to be changed. It is also not accessible for our blind employees that rely on screen readers and other assistive technology. Pros Ultipro is simple and easy to use. When I need to access employment or pay history, view my accruals for sick or vacation leave, view a payroll and holiday schedule, and even sign up for my yearly health benefits, it makes it very easy to do. Cons When I first used the program I found it difficult to find some of the items I needed to access and wasn't sure where to look because of how some items were labeled. It's much easier now that I've gotten the hang of it. Pros Potential to house a lot of good information and the mobile app is great. Cons Reporting for custom use is a joke. Pulling historical information for an audit or investigation is nearly impossible. Cannot do roll-up totals of multiple paychecks for an employment verification at all. HR is constantly being asked to provide pay information for all kinds of reason and specific time periods and you cannot do that in this system at all. Pros It is one unified system for us (i.e. ATS, Onboarding, Payroll, Personnel, learning, etc) this helps flow an applicant to employee smoothly. It helps keep the employees benefits and payroll in one secured area Pros I like that everything is at your fingertips regarding your personal pay and time sheet. I (hopefully) will never have to use another. Pros elegant design; tasks are easy to complete and due to minimal unnecessary steps. Customer service to this point has been impeccable, especially for such a big player in the space Cons same complaint I have with all solutions of this kind: too many unnecessary steps. Should the opportunity arise to use implement Ultipro in my new position I will gladly advocate it. Pros What I loved the most about Ultipro is how easy it was to use. Managing employees schedules, time off requests, time card approvals, etc... All of it easy. Cons Honestly there is very little I disliked about Ultipro. The layout of the time card sheet is also very obtuse, making it hard to review previous time punches. Pros I like the fact that the UltiPro platform can be customized to fit our company's needs. We are a small startup in the transition to growing into a high yield financial company. We just on boarded 150 people in the last few months. We needed something to handle the live-time clocking in and out of employees. So this feature, among housing a live corporate directory, has proven to be easily implemented. Cons The layout of the menu. There is a lot of unused white space on the web app. When looking for the time clock I have to navigate through two sub menus. Review Source gB gary B. The user interface is sometimes rough. The app intermittently "goes down" and does not allow employees to clock in or out. Pros The employees have the ability to request time changes and adds. All the admin has to do is click approve or refuse. Cons It is not very easy to navigate if you are wanting detailed information. It is also not very easy to read on some screens for example if you are looking at PTO requests to see what is submitted or approved. It is visually difficult to interpret sometimes. It has many options to 'turn on' for administrators and employees find their view very easy to navigate. When I've needed to contact customer support, they have been help. There is a useful tool called the 'Learning Center' that answers many trouble shooting questions people have had in the past. Cons In the 'Recruitment Gateway' (ATS portion), it can be tedious to manually forward each candidate to the a hiring manager. It would be very helpful if there were an option to select multiple candidates to forward on to a hiring manager. Additionally, the app version of UltiPro is very limited. All of an employees essential information is accessible through UltiPro from the time tracker to benefits; all of it is organized and easy to navigate. Cons No cons, Ultipro is very efficient and very similar to ADP. I have experienced no issues in my time using UltiPro. Cons The menu layouts are confusing and counter intuitive. They do not function like you would expect, and things are nested inside of others in places where it does not make sense. Great to have it all in one spot. Time clock, benefits, employee data, company memos, and the like. Password sync and FaceID is nice for streamlined login.
