Pros We have enjoyed great flexibility in the way we create our files in it. The fact that it allows for different items to be added, things like the date, in a way suitable for each company is priceless. It, therefore, allows businesses to be themselves, and work how best they feel necessary. Cons There is just one problem with this software, our business works with many other software, and we fell it would be great if it had a function to integrate with other software. December 20, 2022 1.0 I feel like someone has to be a web developer to claim that this app is "easy" to use. IT IS FAR FROM EASY. Very complicated. Overwhelming fields. Your employee and users will easily get lost in this tool. We've only rolled this out for 3 days and heard TONS of complains, questions, and negative feedback! Pros Nothing positive to say about this app. Totally inconvenient to use. Cons It is very complicated even for a millennial and tech savvy like me. You have to download 2 apps instead of using just one which A LOT of other software has. You have to download UKG Pro first and then this app in order to simply log your time. Totally inconvenient! I wont use the product directly though. Pros We use Ultipro for our payroll processing, employee onboarding and talent management. It is so easy to use . With expense management integrated, it is one of the best HR products. Cons I am not sure about the exact cost but I heard that it is slightly expensive. However, you pay for what you get. Our company has adoption issues of using Scheduler in the past. But the new WFD was better than the old WFC, so we can use the scheduler better and be able to report off absences and lates for our Hourly employees. Then managers and HR can take corrective actions for employees that are often late or absent. Pros Cloud based, so no need to have internal IT to support the hardware. Patching boxes, and security updates on our own servers. Cons The product came with Analytics inside the basic time keeping, but we didn't want to pay for it. But it still was available. Very confusing for customers. Why do we get something we didn't pay for? Also the rep gave us a migration cost. We wanted accrual licenses removed when we migrated from Workforce Central, but the rep didn't allow us due to a migration contract. So we had to pay for stuff we didn't want to use. Reason for choosing UKG Pro Migration. We were on Workforce Central. Review Source Craig T. Pros The App is pretty easy to view with decent sized icons and a very clear color scheme. Timesheets easy to view via PDF files. Cons Regularly having to reset password and not letting you use a previous one. App is fine to login but often problems logging into desktop version. We track all of our renewable items through Licenses - and it auto generates reports to go out to the managers, this has really helped us stay on top of getting these completed on time. Cons There are a few screens that seem to glitch when you make changes, and other fields that you haven't changed will change back to default values, so you have to be careful to verify each field when you go in to an employee to make changes. Pros Fairly self explanatory and easy to use. Great at compiling employees into list to approve the hours. Appreciated the overall was of use Cons When entering hours worked it can get a bit confusing because sometimes the totals did not add up correctly or at least look like they were correct. It can track hours, goals, performance evaluation, pay, etc. It is user friendly and the reporting aspect is great. The software is easy to navigate. Great customer support. This is a fantastic software to manage all employee benefits, especially since I am a 1-person department and manage all of the finance and HR for my business. Cons The PTO calculation and rollover isn't the best. Especially with the new Sick/Safe leave act, I have been relying solely on ADP, our payroll software to track all PTO and leave. It is easy enough and since the hours need to be on the pay stubs anyway, it saves me a step. The performance evaluations are cumbersome to my users because the goals must be manually changed each year, they do not automatically carry-forward from year-to-year. Review Source JC John C. Pros I switched companies recently and in doing so was introduced to UltiPro. I was skeptical at first, but have fallen in love with the software. Anything and everything you could ever need is right there at your finger tips. Great software. Cons The only negative I have about this program is that it can be a bit overwhelming at first for new users. Trying to figure out what items are where has a bit of a learning curve, but after a week or two of use you should be used to it. Cons There are times when the system will not allow me to clock out or approve my hours for the pay period. Just keeps spinning. When initially setting up, direct deposit took multiple pay periods to get approved. Cons I do not enjoy how difficult it is to log in at peak times such as clocking out, the system gets overwhelmed and the app will sometimes crash or it will give error codes when trying to log in. Pros This software can be used to help with ongoing employee learning and training development. It also helps with the recruitment of new employees and bringing them onboard. Cons You cannot check the real time processing of payroll until that period has been processed. Thus, only once the pay period has been processed can you then check real time results.
