Pros It streamlines many things into one website. Employees are able to access from home and make changes without having to fill out paperwork. It's relatively easy to use. Keeping track of how much PTO I have remaining was challenging with our previous software - UltiPro makes it really easy to know how many hours I have remaining for the year. Cons I have not experience any issues with UltiPro that's worth noting here. The only thing I will mention is that you will have a learning curve when switching from your previous payroll software - which should be expected. The tool simply needs to be updated in terms of UX and design. Pros I appreciate the ability to view pay stubs, track time-off requests, and view benefit information without having to dig through emails and/or files. Cons The UX isn't great and it can be incredibly hard to find certain items. I just swipe my employee badge on the (add-on) scanner and I'm in. . Cons If you forget your password and need help, the HR department (in my case anyway) is the P.O.C. on that -- not your company's tech support department. You are basically screwed if you forget your password. I can't even file my tax returns (now going into year 2!!) all because I can't remember my password. May 7, 2020 1.0 I would never even mention this to product to anyone. Pros I can't think of anything I liked about this software. Our company switch to this because it was suppose to be better than what we already had. It was not, took hours to figure out how to use. Cons When I pulled up training material, it was outdated. It told you to search for a tab when there were no tabs or to click on a box and there were no boxes. There is no PTO calendar, which means I have to figure it out myself. Cons That people have a hard time utilizing all its possibilities, our lead always had headaches figuring out new tools to add. Pros Ultipro works pretty well as a system to track PTO and supply all benefit options in one database. It was also nice to use while choosing yearly benefits. Cons Not much to dislike. If you have a feature need, UltiPro can probably do it in some way or another. Cons Feels very bloated as if features have just been bolted on without thought to intuitiveness and design. Because of this, I find myself supporting employees and managers more than I would with a typical HRIS/ATS. Ultipro's customer service is very poor. Tickets sit unanswered. Updates take forever. Pros I love how I can request time off, I can clock in and out, also look at my pay history and hours worked over the course of my time at my job. The reporting feature makes for very easy and streamlined way to see how much vacation time you still have left and how much you've accrued. Cons Sometimes it locks you out and so we have to fill out manual sheets. This is probably the only con I can think of as it's a really good database. Review Source JG Jasmine G. August 19, 2019 5.0 Ultipro has made tracking my own pay much easier as well as reaching out to potential new hires. This system is so easy to use once it is initially set up. Thank you Ultipro for getting it right! Pros Ultipro is a game changer when it comes to tracking and changing your own pay as well as hiring new employees. This software allows each employee to submit their own requests for direct deposit, change of address, change in dependents as well as shows each employee all of their previous pay checks electronically. As a manager it also links to our hiring portal so everything is in one place. This tool is definitely a time saver when it comes to administrative tasks. Cons The only complaints I have gotten from staff is during the initial log in. The trick is to log in using the safari browser for the first time to get it all set up. Well worth the money. Pros HR Downloads offers a broad range of services and information on the following topics: 1. Strategy 2. Workforce planning 3. Employee Engagement 4. Total Rewards 5. Labour Laws 6. Learning and Development 7. Workplace Safety The other bonus with the platform is HR Downloads offers live HR Advice. The Advisors are extremely knowledgeable and return calls quickly. For small to mid size organizations the time savings and advice truly save time and dollars. Cons The survey system isn't as robust as survey monkey. I particularly like the occurrences. Cons It is really expensive to implement, and to maintain. Virtually every report is a custom report that requires work and a cost.
