As a manager of a team, it has allowed me to easily manage times, reviews and overall tasks within a single software. Pros It's user friendly and easy to use in all aspects. Aside from payroll and time management, we've been able to utilize it for goal tracking, performance reviews and salary planning. Cons While it's good that it is customizable, it can be painful to navigate through these customizations and make the software exactly what you imagine. Customer service could use some work. Pros The system is user-friendly for both the employees and administrators. A lot of extras that we don't use yet, but look forward to starting them this year. Cons The reporting is not always the easiest to get what you want and if you want any help, they call it a customized report and want to charge you. The ease of use between entry and mid-level managers from restaurants to our corporate office is also really intuitive. Cons UKG Pro does not seem to have a support team that is scalable to meet the needs of administers like myself who often ran into issues with features of UKG Pro, such as UKG Pro Learning, which is their digital LMS platform. While I appreciate that they have a support specialist team to communicate updates or give you a timeframe on how long it will take to research an item, it takes awhile. The reporting is complex but once you get the hang of it, there are so many custom reports that you can create, there are many data points that you can extrapolate data from and gain valuable insights on your workforce. Pros Easily configurable to meet business needs. Mobile app is very user friendly and intuitive for our employees. For the money there is huge ROI, especially when compared to competitors, there is great value for the money. Cons Would like to see a few more items from the desktop homepage be available on the mobile app. There are some documents that I would like more of our employees to have access to on their mobile device. Everything is there in the dropdowns to pick where you need go and view. Pros UKG is a pretty easy to navigate utility, especially when it comes to tracking pay and benefits. Having everything in one app is super convenient. Cons I don't think there's much to not like about this unless it's not setup correctly, but that should be addressed on implementation. Any SaaS application has an occasional bug or unexpected downtime, but core modules in particular (ie. payroll) are rarely, if ever, unavailable. Service and Support can be a bit more variable, however, as UKG has become more and more popular and the number of customers has rapidly increased, it seems that the support organization has not increased at a similar pace. Recent AI additions to support case creation, and similar initiatives anticipated in the next quarter, may alleviate this concern. Pros UKG Pro is intuitive, user-friendly, and able to meet the HR and Payroll needs of any organization. Pro is powerful reporting and analytic capabilities thanks to utilizing the Cognos engine. There is a high-degree of configuration available allowing customers to build business rules and business processes to handle workflows, alerts, and notifications. Cons There are some items that require using a legacy "Back Office" application. This option is less-intuitive and very different from UKG Pro. Thankfully all of those features are slated to be retired/replaced within the next year. If it’s set up correctly it’s basic and simple, however the recruiting module was veryyy basic and we had to use a different vendor. Cons The recruiting portion was disappointing, and the talent management portion is okay but I’ve used better- might be due to the set up though. My boss can approve my vacation requests remotely, and I can access all my important employee data. Pros What I like most about UKG Pro is the fact that it streamlines my schedule, timecard, and vacation time along with important employee details. Cons I work in social services so my work environment can be semi volatile, causing me to be away from my desk frequently. The punch card is so accurate sometimes its hard to match up my punches.
