Learning the in and outs of the program only took a few days but we do not regret out decision to switch! Pros A very versatile program with ample room for customization and an incredibly helpful support staff. Cons The graphic design and user interface could be a little more polished and appealing. I've added a stand up computer on the clinic floor because most entries are so quick, it's a waste of energy to sit down. Pros The ease of charting and the notes below the chart that are permanently there and aren't scrolled with the official chart notes. Cons The click to the chart page from the calendar could be simplified. Most calendars provide a left click but yours left click options provide the rescheduling options. One option at the bottom of the scroll down menu for chart face would be nice. Also, my network computer manager has always hated that this is not a web product by current definitions. He consults on all sorts of industries and the computer products always use online servers if they are called "web". August 3, 2024 5.0 Practice-web is an all-in-one dental system, very easy to navigate and learn. Coming from previous banker who has a zero experience in the dental industry. Pros Practice-Web system is very easy to navigate. Also, if I have any technical difficulty, their technical support is available even on weekends and they reach out pretty fast. Cons The least I like about the tool is that the bone graft has no tooth number option so I would have to edit it on our EDI solutions website. I hope they can update this. All our reps go through rigorous training, plus they're constantly in contact with senior reps, and are encouraged to escalate calls promptly if need be. Pros This Dental Management Software is excellent. Comprehensive record keeping that is easy to use. I like how the software is set up with separate modules that are easy to use. Cons There are so many features that there is a learning curve that takes some time to incorporate all the potential features of this software. It is an excellent software product with excellent customer service and support. The database is MySQL which is fast and efficient. My only regret is that I did not implement this product 15 years sooner when it came out in the early 1990s. Tech support has been responsive and helpful and with help, it has been able to meet most of our needs. Pros I really like Practice Web Connect. We are able to communicate with patients in a way that is more comfortable and convenient for them. I also really like that we can call tech support instead of sending a help ticket. They are also very helpful and responsive. Cons While the software has a lot of flexibility and customization options, it is a bit difficult to know how to make the software do what you need it to, without having tech support remote in to do it for you. Every time we run into trouble (simple or complicated) the support has been great. They care about it more than my staffs. Pros Practice Web software is very easy to use. I love how easy it is to schedule appointments. I also like the fact that we are able to send out text messages to our patients to remind them of their upcoming appointments or any questions we might have. Cons what we liked least is that at times if the software is not up to date it will lag or freeze. Being a smaller company, have worked with almost the same technicians. Also, have multiple practices, they were able to work out a reduced payment plan. Pros I think it is easy to learn; I have a small office and the entire staff is able to understand and use it. Cons A problem with filing insurance charges, then later the patient tells us that it was changed prior to that appt. Unable to use the new insurance with the no longer one out.
