### "Chirotouch Cloud"

Customer service has been very helpful and they made the transition from sever based software to the cloud based version as smooth as possible. Even though there were definitely some major bumps in the road along the way.

Pros

Overall a very good product. The switch from server to cloud based was a little tricky, but I am glad I made the switch. After learning the software our office has become more efficient.

Cons

I wish they would integrate other credit card processing into the software. The integrated company charges ridiculously high rates for the processing. The software takes some time to become proficient as there are a lot of processes which aren’t very intuitive.

### "It almost makes it easier... almost"

The software, almost daily, shuts itself down and I have to restart it. I want a system I don't have to constantly restart or toggle multiple screens to find out when you were in and what it was for, or to find a payment and what it was for. This was supposed to make it less steps, whereas, as a whole, our office notices far more steps for every process

Pros

You can easily see on a calendar when they have been in or when they will be in with just a few clicks to specify what you want to look for, you can adjust length of time for appointments and add multiple purposes for the visit.

Cons

You have to toggle different screens to do just about anything, and while you can see when they were in, you have to go to an entirely different area to find out what they had done. You have to enter the same payment screen multiple times to put a note on a payment as to what it is for, I counted 14 or 15 clicks to add a payment (not including the clicks for the amount itself) and then go back in to put the note on it, ridiculous! It will only let you apply the payment and notes into one case, no way to synchronize to see them, you have to toggle accounts as well as screens. It has positives, but they are only useful for the Providers, as an Admin User, it sucks.

Other than the most recent issues with contacting patients, my experience has been stellar. The customer service is excellent, and the system is extremely intuitive, and easy to use.

Pros

Chiro Touch makes appointments and payments extremely easy to deal with. The support team is fabulous when you need them, and always patient and pleasant. It's a fairly intuitive system, too.

Cons

For some time now, we have not been able to use our CT system to text or email patients. We were told this is something that's being worked on, but this has gone on for several months now. We finally had to get a secondary system to take care of all our contacts, even though that is supposed to be covered in what we pay for this CT service. Now we are paying even more for this secondary contacting system.While this is really my only complaint about CT, is it a big one, and the amount of time this has gone on is simply unacceptable.

Terrible!

Pros

It has features for a lot of functionality but it’s is not intuitive is very busy and cluttered we don’t have a web based version so it’s not mobile or accessible for the providers.

Cons

It’s just a disaster, I hate charting on it and if it hadn’t been so cotton picking expensive we could change to something else but the clinic own doesn’t want to because of the investment already in this lousy software. Not that isn’t made by brilliant people I am sure it is. But I need something more flexible attractive and modern looking, and and without all the studies glitches it’s impossible to go back and correct anything properly. We have some troubles with the scheduling and chart notes the plethora of options is really it’s down fall because inevitably you miss something that jacks up the whole process and no one can figure out how to fix it. Also it’s useless for PTs. Web PT is way better and Jane would be even better - it’s nice and clean looking and more usually friendly for providers and patients

### "Pros and Cons"

its a pretty easy system but at times, with new tech personal, I find them not always knowledgeable to give me correct information. Several months back, we had an issue with our intake forms and it took them almost 2 mos to find out what the problem was.

Pros

Yes, it is user friendly and is paperless.

Cons

There are gitches in the system in correctly calculating the tax report. Also, clitches in the app we use for storing notes.Another issue, you don't support any printers, only scanners.

### "Not the best experience."

Overall it hasn't been great. Every time I start to feel confident in the company, I have a massive issue trying to reach customer service OR we go to do something minor and find out it can't be done without a call to customer service. Overall, I have not loved my experience.

Pros

I like that it's cloud based finally and that we have the ability to now send out automatic text and email reminders. Calendar is pretty user friendly as well.

Cons

I hate that I can't edit packages/add packages in if it's been 24 hours since appt. Also, we can't edit superbills - we used to be able to in the old software, but no longer can in core. I don't like that several things aren't editable areas - it gets really frustrating. Also dislike how hard it is to reach customer service when needed. I dread calling for help because I never know if I'll get someone to even call me back, and if I do, if it will be in a timely manner.

Reason for choosing ChiroTouch

Because you all make it so dang hard to move data over to a new product. It's infuriating. We did not want to stay.

Horrible, do not do business with this company!

Pros

Nothing!...not anymore. 20 years ago, it seems like they actually put some effort into their software and their service...obviously that has all been flushed down the drain.

Cons

Everything! Most of all, the horrible customer service at the end of my time using the software. I have used for 20 years, but thought it was time to move on to something more up to date. I moved everything over, cancelled everything, and then a few months later got another bill. I called and they said that I didn't cancel before my annual contract was due, so I wouild have to pay the rest of the year even though I wasn't using the software anymore!!! What horrible customer service.

I have the unique opportunity to know the principles of this company personally and I know that they have an ultimate higher purpose and serving the chiropractic profession for many, many years to come. Thank you .

Pros

I had the opportunity to evaluate the top 6 software companies of the time and shows as the best available at the time. Initially, I was so impressed with the integration between daily notes, charges, and diagnoses that I help the company with demonstrations those early days. Our clinic services between 140 and 170 services per day and I’m happy to say that ChiroTouch is able to keep up with this Dement. I appreciate the regular updates and their response to provider feedback. Their multiple service packages make this EMR a no-brainer for a start-up practices or a multimillion dollar practice like ours. In this day and age of increased regulatory control and oversight it is absolutely ridiculous to me that some doctors are still paper charting their daily visits. They are setting themselves up for audits, post service reviews and possibly huge fines. It is my opinion that ChiroTouch does everything it possibly can to support me in maintaining strong compliance as well as privacy for the long- term security of our practice.

Cons

As with any large company customer service is a massive challenge. remains innovative in staying up with the demands of their company utilizing technology to maximize customer service.

Since I started having CTProbill do my billing for me, I have been able to spend more time with my patients.

Pros

It's all in one. Don't have to open any other programs. Support is great. \[sensitive content hidden\] and my team have been making life a lot easier.

Cons

I wish you could enter payments by date instead of by line item. And I wish you could take an initial evaluation or Final evaluation and could create a report for the same date of service instead of only being able to write just a single note or a SOAP note.

Pros

Once set up the data entry is fast and I can keep up with my patient load and documentation. I do end up doing my diagnosis and some paperwork at home each day. It is easy to work on my computer at home.

Cons

Seems to be a lot of repetition in the notes. Irritating to me but suppose it keeps me accurate. I have been in practice 34 years so went from paper files to electronic files. Was a difficult transition but much better than the first system I tried.

The customer service takes forever to get into somebody. And we’ve had many occasions where we had an appointment to get a call for help and Customer Service, and we never would get the call.

Pros

Yeah, so far I don’t like anything about the software compared to the previous version

Cons

It’s not I appealing it’s super unfriendly. It takes way more time to do the soap notes it’s way more complicated to do the billing. It never carried over the patient records and ledger, it’s super difficult to access a previously scan x-ray and MRI report, the features and usability are terrible.

The app best program was nice easy to use friendly. This cloud-based version is terrible.

Expensive , to bulky, charge you for everything and try to get you hooked so you won’t change. But I say break that chain, better products are available and cheaper and easier to use

We lost two staff members because of the lack of support and the overall stress of not being able to navigate CT Cloud. Our practice has NOT been paid for any patient services for going on 9 weeks.

Pros

Server based CT is not a bad product. Cloud is a nightmare and has NO direct support. My staff and myself have waited 3-4 hours when placing calls for assistance. MANY calls for assistance. Never migrate to CT Cloud. I can assure you that you will regret your decision.

Cons

Support - there is next to no support. CT Cloud does not have a direct customer service phone number. When calling for technical support, we have waiting for several hours for a return call. Personally, my dozen phone calls and cases that have been opened, have been closed, via email, without resolution.

Overall quite pleased with . Lots of add-ons that make the product more expensive in the end.

Pros

Chat function with team is very helpful to solve issues quickly. Large buttons so easy to use on a tablet or a desktop computer.

Cons

Not easy to book patients at varied times e.g. can select different dates but can't select different times - need to go back into the system to alter times that conflict with other patients. Would like more insights and reports for managing staff and patients.

On a positive note, I will say that customer service really does try to help us. We can call, chat, create a case, etc. They are always kind, polite and helpful as possible.

Pros

Switching from CT classic to CT cloud was very DIFFICULT. We were wanting cloud based capability and didn't realize the entire program would change, and not necessarily for the BETTER, at least in our case. Cloud is very TEDIOUS, TIME CONSUMING, and makes the SIMPLEST procedures that we use daily, very difficult.

Cons

The ease of everyday use ... not there. We changed to cloud 3/1/22 and basically had to troubleshoot, pretty much everything, since then. There is a HUGE lack of effective training. We have spent SO MUCH TIME researching and looking up how to do even the most BASIC things. We also had to change our clearinghouse, which was something we did NOT want to do, but we did. It did NOT go well. All this had to be done WHILE we continued to practice. I am STILL correcting claims and re -sending.

What I like about from an assistant viewpoint is that it's easy to check in and check out patients. Plus the notes I put in are really simple.

Cons

What I like least about is sometimes it is hard to use for the Doctors.

Overall very good. Does as much or a little as you want to document. Billing is not my thing but I can do what I need to and customer service is, more times then not, very helpful.

Pros

There is a learning curve, but the system is adaptable. I have covered for other offices over the years and each time CT was used it had various options and a specific purpose that flowed with the office it was in.

Cons

iPad disconnecting or not recognizing main server to transfer notes/charges from mobile pad.

Pros

Web based integration has been very helpful to be able to access patient records from anywhere and even on the go!

Cons

The learning curve was a little difficult as we transitioned from Server based Classic . Some features were not readily available.Does not integrate with Fortis Pay.

Having been new to this office and coming behind another employee has made life extremely difficult. The patient that had been here prior to me, did not understand what she was doing and left a huge mess to clean up. With the CT ProBilling team which includes \[sensitive content hidden\], we are getting through it.

Pros

It is not the easiest by far, but the customer service rep for our billing is by far the best. \[sensitive content hidden\] is great and always helpful!!The note ability is great. I like the option of inserting what you like into each note by the touch of a button.

Cons

I hate the billing process the least. Next is the ability of scheduling.

I don't know that there were any specific benefits, other than we got a new software system when we left Healthsource last year. It allowed our office to continue operating. There are some things about it that I like better about it than HSWorx and there are things I miss about HSWorx. No software is going to have everything you want... Don't know how else to answer this question.

Pros

A lot of things are customizable to make it easy to use and generally you can find what you need easily. When you actually get to a person, they usually are very friendly and courteous. They try to help the best they can and ask others around them for assistance if they aren't sure. I don't think I've had to call about the same issue twice, which is a very good thing.

Cons

Reports are NOT customizable and generally do not fit what you need or give you way too much information that does not allow you to manipulate exported data easily without doing a lot of work to make it usable. I do not need contact information on all reports for example. Let me pick and choose what I want on the reports so that I can get what I need. Also, the way that we can submit suggestions for future implementation is not very efficient. Some of the suggestions are a couple years old or already implemented... yet they are still there. Not to mention, if I have already viewed it before, I don't need to see it again. I do not have hours to just sit here reading the same suggestions over and over. Show new ones/unviewed ones first. Also, let everyone in the office post suggestions. I've tried to comment/make a new suggestion a few times and it came up as unauthorized. When you call for customer service, the recording really need to be redone. It cuts off in the middle of sentences and when it tries to have someone call you back, it actually asks if your question has been answered. If my question has already been answered, why would I still be on hold or want a call back?

Pros

Once you have your macros set up, you can put a note together quite quickly. Patient check in on the ipad is nice.

Cons

It's a bit cumbersome moving between screens and tabs. It could be a bit more efficient.

### "We have hardly scratched the surface"

EHR, charting for the doctor that is legible for the insurance companies and attorney's.

Pros

I know the software has the capabilities to perform in just about any realm needed. I also know we have hardly scratched the service of what it is capable of doing.

Cons

We are a small office. This is a pretty complicated software. Your support is amazing, however it takes quite a while to stumble through learning the system before you are able to know what questions to ask. I feel like some hands-on training would be so beneficial, even years into it now that we at least know the basics.

Overall good experience when compared with other EHRs I’ve used.

Pros

helps manage patient care with easy to use note taking, scheduling, billing, and other paperwork.

Cons

We did have a while where the software was very slow when putting appointments down. Price is very expensive. Also it is difficult to delete unused inactive patient files.

### "Longterm software user starting on cloud"

Overall it has been good and although the transfer between the software and cloud has some issues, starting with either one works great

Pros

Very good ease of use for both chiropractors and staff. So far the cloud seems to be similar so the transition won't be a complete change and if starting with the cloud instead of switching it seems it would be just as easy to get the hang of it from the start

Cons

Transitioning from the software to the cloud could be smoother. Much of billing won't transfer over, though that is mitigated by providing PDFs of the information. A lot of macros for SOAP notes also don't format correctly after the transfer. It is able to be fixed, but all have to be done manually

Pros

Anything can be fixed although usually cumbersome. Information easy to read in patient account, insurance, ledger, etc. Reports we use have all of the information on them for the most part. So far accounting seems to stay accurate.

Cons

Statusing claims (doing a corrected claim or voiding a claim) cannot be done once ins payment is applied which is the case 99% of the time. Have to pretend to bill a claim in order to status. Horrible! IE chiro bills out 98941 and 97124. 98941 pays but 97124 denies for DX. Can't status this since 98941 paid so you have to bill both codes again then at a later date status the second billing. Puts charges on claims randomly and takes charges paid off of report when charges billed with it are still outstanding. Makes calling on delinquent claims very difficult when they want the total billed amount of each claim. Can't choose accident status/initial consult date/etc per claim. So if you have to rebill an old auto accident claim or old health insurance claim you have to change information and then change back. Have to bill them separately if patient stopped or started auto and has one claim that is and one that is not. Can't bill out an insurance that is termed even when date of service falls under active period. IE had Aetna in 2017 and BC in 2018. Term Aetna 12-31-17 but need to rebill a December 2017 date and you have to take term date out, bill, put term date back in. Lots of wasted time to get system to do what needs to be done if anything needs to be fixed.
