Nothing. Pretty colors. Maybe payment plan.

Cons

Everything. They sell a junk product expecting YOU to do all the work fixing it. They actually think chiropractors have a full time IT person on staff. No, you become the I T person! If you are really really tech savvy then you might have fun with it. Otherwise forget it. Terrible company. The only time they call me is when they can't suck their money out of my account due to a changed credit card. Support is hit or miss. Meaning you get somebody who has a clue or you don't. Stay away! Do not purchase!

Quick chart notes, full service software.

Pros

The quick and easy chart notes are what I like the most. I went from a group practice that used Chirotouch, to a solo practice. I looked at a few other sotware alternatives, plus the one that came with the practice I bought, and still decided to buy Chirotouch for my office. I was able to do a data transfer from my old practice which made the implementation very easy.

Cons

Price is higher than most other softwares. After paying the monthly usage fee, the billing fee, and the cloud based backup, it is a lot of money to come up with monthly. I think thete should be discount packages when they are bundled together.

Initially I found chirotouch to have a steep learning curve. Initial training was not very good at all. I found that my use of the product improved over a six month period of time with trial and error.

Complete all in one capacity with daily use and ease of use when communicating with patients

Cons

Sometimes there is a delay when doing daily notes. Occasionally slows down and interrupts flow of caring for patients

I have been with smart loud since 2014. At the time it was a large outlay to adopt. Costly, but based on the competition prices and the excellent support, I thought it was fair. The software and its options are extensive, but ironically, don't seem to allow a lot of common Chiropractic options. For instance, I have had to run a concurrent software package to allow me to run "recall lists". Things may have changed, but to date, I still know no way to tell the software to run a list of absentee patients or search for patients that have dropped from care. A second instance is the patient scheduling...how they made a simple patient scheduling system so unyielding and complicated is beyond me. I have never used the smart cloud patient schedule, despite the apparent convenience of having an online schedule available to me due to its flaws. That being said, it was not perfect but it was still one of the best at the time, and the support was outstanding. Unfortunately, that all changed in mid-2015. Terrible support is being kind at present. It also seems that the once quick response pages turn at glacial speed and make note taking hands on with patient almost impossible. I have recently decided to drop them after the monthly support was raised this summer. It has been explained to me that because they now have more functions ( haven't seen any) the support needs to increase. I suspect a different reason: namely the initial purchase price has dropped. It seems obvious that they dropped the purchase price and raised the monthly to make up for the loss. I can't condemn the approach, but when I informed them that I PAID fully the original cost and should not be subject to the increase, they were unsympathetic. This leaves me with the last peeve I have. I am unable to "sell" the software I paid for since the "purchase " price from the company seems to ever decrease. Overall, what I was left with was an above average software for note taking, an average system for admin and billing and a very sub-par system for scheduling and reports. I obviously would Not recommend.

### "Not an honest company"

I called to see if I could add support, they told me it would be $xx/mo. Seemed reasonable, as they told me it came with CT forms, CT intake, CT Reminders , and CT inTouch. So I signed a year contract. Long story short, it doesn’t come with any of that, just phone support (which I haven’t used in years). I called, explained the situation, said I’d be happy to pay my first month that I signed up for even though I only had it for a couple days. They said they had to charge me the full 12 months and even had the audacity to try and up sell me another monthly subscription. When you pay what you do for this software upfront, it should come with all these features. I strongly recommend avoiding chirotouch at all costs. Go with chirofusion, it keep more functional and they honor their word.

Pros

Fast, that’s the only pro. This product is vanilla. Nothing sets it apart from other software.

Cons

Almost everything. This is the worst ran software company I have ever dealt with.

Pros

Macros for charting makes it easier on the doctors.

Cons

Most features do not work consistently. It is not reliable in the slightest. The iPad intake app would crash all the time - multiple times when a patient was about to be done completing it! How embarrassing and frustrating. I finally had to print out the paper form of their intake form and it asked so many more personal questions than we needed. The patient began refusing to answer half the questions. What a nightmare! Sales representatives will lie to you about the price of items so that you buy something. They called their backup software "included free" with the InTouch and CTServices bundle. Once you go over a small amount of data, the price goes up incrementally each MONTH, UP TO OVER $600! Once we noticed (the same day), we said we don't want it anymore. A different customer service representative finally sent us a "cancellation agreement" stating it would be effective the day we signed it, which was WEEKS after we first emailed them and said we didn't want it anymore. They charged us for the full month anyway! Their contract locks you into a year minimum. They took away online booking without telling us so they could charge for the feature. It just appeared broken. We were even told it was broken for 2 months "because of the update". We called back upset after awhile (patients were asking about online booking) and finally someone told us they don't have that feature anymore, but they will be adding an online booking in the future that we can pay more for!

Pros

It is user friendly. I like that it is so easy to use and navigate. I also like how helpful the software teams are when you call or log in to get help! They always are able to answer my questions in a timely manner.

Cons

I did the training as a new staff, but I feel like it would be better if you had a team member to do training with new staff as it was just videos and slides and didn't teach me every aspect of the system. I had to lean alot from the doctor I work for and I would like to implement other things if I learned how to use them to help make out office better.

We have used the server based ChiroTouch for 4 plus years and it is a robust product that performs in all areas. We added CTProbill to manage Claims and Billing this past year. \[sensitive content hidden\] set up our practice to be able to transition our practice to Probill. Working with him was easy and helped us get through.

Cons

We would like Chirotouch to update the server based ChiroTouch product, so we can continue to use CTProbill. Better interface, less clicks. Implementing some of the product suggestions.

Overall I think ChiroTouch is the best Chiropractic Software on the market today. But i think others are starting to catch up and may surpass.

Pros

All the features of ChiroTouch that we use, which is most, are needed to make our practice run easier and more productive. i like the integration of all of it.

Cons

By far, the part I like the least about Chirotouch is the amount of time i have to wait between clicks. When a patient is standing next to me and all I want to do it finish with the subjective complaint and i get a "not responding blue circle", is very frustrating. Please make it faster.

One software to run the entire business is nice. But, if you have other types of doctors, like medical doctors, they will not be able to use this software.

Pros

Touch screen, calling patients to a room when they are "arrived". Integration with Cash Practice is good for plans on auto-debit. InTouch text reminders the patients like.

Cons

Support is bad. You have to call and wait on hold an average of 1 hour every time. When you DO get a person, they are not really that good at support. I have had a case open for a year now and they can't figure it out and fix it (Announcer announces Room4 every time by default). The reporting module totally bad. If you run a report by "Procedure Code Usage"...you have to run it 6 times for the same procedure code to capture all charges for one code because same code can have dozens of descriptions for the same code. Ridiculous. If you have multiple providers using CT, but only ONE can diagnose -the doctor, that is an issue because the non-medical provider while logged in as themselves and doing SOAP notes CANNOT assign a diagnosis legally. So, the non-med provider has to get logged in and then go find the doctor and get them to assign a diagnosis to the SOAP notes.

It goes without saying but, we HIGHLY recommend CT!

Pros

ChiroTouch has made every aspect of practice, both front office & back office a breeze. Myself and my husband just hit 1 year being in practice, and having efficient software like CT has made the transition into practice easier than we could have imagined. We are both not the most tech- savvy people, so we appreciate how user friendly the program is. We have CT on 3 computers and 5 iPads around the office and have ran into NO problems. When we were unsure how to go about changing settings, and completing updates, the customer service was there, friendly, patient and helpful. We will never change our software because ChiroTouch is always an email/ phone call away. All of our patient files are so organized because we utilize every aspect of the program. Because we have multiple people using CT (2 to 3 DCs and 1 receptionist), being organized, being able to add notes regarding dates billed, insurance information, and what the visit consisted of has kept of office systems clean and efficient. We are in the process of buying the practice and the original owners were able to teach us how to use this software in a matter of weeks, and by month 2 we knew how to confidently work all of the features. We are so happy that this software is a part of our practice!!

Cons

We haven't ran into issues with ChiroTouch. Being the large company that they are, if anything, we have been impressed by their customer service and timely responses when we have needed assistance.

Increased collections, improved DR notes, less hassle from insurance companies.

I love the text reminders, the billing function, The ability to create notes and internal reminders, color coding of scheduler....

Cons

Often there are things that I want the system to do, like create new patient files (folders) from the scheduler OR change a provider from the scheduler OR create a note from the schedule that the system can not currently do.... it makes our staff very inefficient. Also, not every desktop function is not available for doctors on the IPADS... particularly the DX posting function while in the note. Also, printing statements and superbills for individual doctors without changing settings is also cumbersome and inefficient. Lastly, ALL of the new functions that you are coming out with that we have to pay EXTRA to use. That is terrible for you to do so. We dropped our money or just the software, pay multiple yearly maintenance fees, and still, you want us to pay more... The new advancements you make should be part of the fees we are already paying. Also, I hate the monthly fee... I liked the yearly fee... you've now created more work for me... with no added value. Lastly and most importantly, keep hiring new help desk, people... it's getting better than last year... which you all know was awful... keep the hiring going. Thanks

### "Macro-based software with many shortcomings"

Pros

Once the macros are set-up, the EHR software is easy to use. Customer support is fair, but you must call and leave a message and wait for a call back.

Cons

The program has multiple modules, but do not seamlessly work together intuitively. The program was built originally for low resolution screens, and has not been updated to current higher resolution monitors. Many of the boxes are not large enough to view pertinent information. Example, ICD 10 code diagnoses are lengthy in description. The diagnosis box doesn't allow you to read the entire diagnosis. Therefore it's very frustrating and perplexing to work with. I have been using this program for close to 10 years, and it has not been visually updated since. I'm sure there are more up-to-date programs on the market.

### "Antiquated and Outdated"

With the server, it is outdated but doable. We are currently utilizing this. We had switched to CT Advanced /Cloud and it was awful. It cost me $50,000 in lost revenue and additional worker hours. Billing is time consuming The customer support was challenging. You never get the same person twice and problems would take forever.

Pros

Consistent. It is the same platform now for 2+ years.

Cons

Outdated. Server based is dying. Cloud based doctor / SOAP is great. Scheduling is great. Online review system is great. Cost per service is significantly more than others that provide similiar if not more features.

Initially, it is the one I was most familiar with (Good job for marketing in colleges) .

We started with Chirotouch out of a desire to be compliant with the EHR mandates. It has allowed us to remain compliant, however at the cost of not being very nimble or user friendly in my opinion. I would consider changing if I were not looking at retirement.

Pros

Chirotouch helps keep us compliant and allows our billing to continue smoothly and efficiently.

Cons

I use the iPad EHR/Chirotouch app daily. It is rarely if ever updated and clunky.

### "Long term user"

Pros

It is very inclusive overall. I like that our Xray software and payment system can integrate with it. We could run almost every part of our facility using this program.

Cons

The reports are not as helpful as they were in Autumn8. The text reminders & blasts are unreliable & the interface is very basic. It also takes a long time to recover our software when the server goes out even with multiple backups, including a local backup.

Reason for choosing ChiroTouch

It seemed like the only viable option at the time.

Ease of use. I was able to easily convert from a single Doc practice to a thriving multi DC practice.

Pros

The best thing about ChiroTouch, is well, everything! I love the ease of use. I love how different parts of the software overlap and talk to each other...no more double, triple, quadriple entery. The developers have thought of just about everything when it comes to customizing software to and individual office, things I, as a 30 year office manager, would have implemented into my own software if I were to customize my own. The program is easy to customize, in every aspect, to an individual or group practice. The support is bar-none! If my call isn't answered live within 10 minutes, I can expect a call back, usually, within the hour. The support staff is very knowledgeable and fortunately for me, very patient and understanding when I try to take programming into my own hands (even though I shouldn't) and end up messing something up. I recommend ChiroTocuh highly to all my Chiropractic colleagues.

Cons

Probably the two main things I would change in this software would be the ability to customize forms (ie; exams, letters, reports) and the ability to have more options to run customized financial reports. As an administrator, owner and office manager I like to have the ability to customize what reports I'd like to see.

Pros

Not having to pull files!!! having everything up on one screen is nice. Ability to copy notes and SALT notes is a big help. Being able to customize MACROS is a great feature as well. I like the ability to text message patients with the in touch aspect. I also like having the iPAD capability. Overall it is a smooth system and I do like having it at my office.

Cons

I do not like how everything is an add-on. Do you want to be able to verify patients insurance? (well of course you do) Well, that's gonna cost you per month. Do you want to have text message reminders sent to your patients? (of course you do...it cuts down on missed appts.) Well, sorry that is extra too. Basically it feels like you purchase this quite expensive software and then you are nickle and dimed' every month for features that are pretty much necessary. Also I HATE the check in process has a RED and GREEN button for the patient to click on the "Is there any other symptom that the doctor needs to be aware of?" section. ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT THE BUTTONS ARE RED AND GREEN! The general public quickly sees red and green and clicks on the green and then they add another symptom b/c they don't realize what the app is asking. Also it would be nice if you could customize the provider-all-in-one format. So for example, instead of the standard options of "tomorrow" "end of week" "next week" etc. We should be able to put in our own customized clickable options there.

Ease of use for me and the staff. Also, the abundance of things it can do, but I want more like bulk text messaging.

The lack of text messaging has caused me to look else where for that feature and costing me more money.
