### "Quick and Easy!"

December 20, 2024

Overall, it is an easy system to use. There are small things like the ability to drag appointments down rather than going into the appointment and change it. It helps get tedious actions like that easier to accomplish.

Pros

The system is very friendly and easy to navigate.

Cons

I wish that the appointment type didn't generate automatically.

### "Review on ChiroTouch - improvise Chiropractic practice"

This platform enables Chiropractic practices by including efficient patient management, customizable treatment plans, and robust billing features. I like the idea of the platform, but find it difficult to understand and use at a glance

Pros

I like the Chiropractic practice of management of patient data , customisable treatment plans, prescription management. This is to take patient care a level up in medical platforms

Cons

Costing is higher than other platforms or local platforms. Slightly difficult to understand and navigate

### "CT cloud. "

June 13, 2024

4.0

I am going Live tomorrow with another EHR software. I’ve been with CT since 2015 and switched to CT cloud last summer. It is a disaster. And they just tell me to put a ticket in.

Pros

It is kind of similar to the server version I had for years.

Cons

CT cloud is a very poor version of what I expected from CT. It is a fraction of the quality from the server version. Customer service is poor. When you open a ticket, if they don’t like what you have open, they will close it or never get back to you.

### "A huge downgrade from CT Server to CT Cloud!"

June 13, 2024

2.0

Pros

The only upgrade to CT Cloud was being able to connect anywhere, even out of the office.

Cons

Everything. The reports in the server system were not in the cloud, billing was a mess, customer service was no help and it felt like I was teaching them every time I got a call, and it took an eternity to hear back from anyone regarding my help tickets.

### "I wish I had never integrated this software."

November 14, 2023

1.0

Unorganized and complex start up. I do not like not being able to get customer service with an actual person. I am not happy that I was pushed toward the cloud based system. I was assured it was ready but my trust was broken long ago. I didn’t switch for that reason. I’m glad I didn’t, look at the reviews! As I near the last chapter of my career, I will walk away with a bad taste pertaining to my entire experience with .

Pros

I like that I can use it on my iPad so I don’t have computers in every room.

Cons

Cost, lack of customer service, CT community. My biggest gripe pertains to the complete lack of customer service. Many of us would still like to talk to a real person. The email or chat never does anything but waste time. I pay every month but feel I’m on my own when there’s an issue.

Reason for choosing ChiroTouch

I had to do something. I was told that there weren’t really any great options so I went with what I thought was the best of the bad.

### "Out Dated & Constantly broken"

July 19, 2019

3.0

I have used it for years but have done nothing but complain about it. When its only the doctor and one staff, we don't have time to sit in the back with the server for 20 minutes trying to get someone to fix a glitch. Also, everytime my Microsoft Windows updates it messes up the reminders and stops them or we have a glitch on the software. I must spend once a week with some type of problem with the software. It's a waste but I paid so much money for it I kept it. Also every time you turn around any new feature is a fee! My sister has the same software. Long story short we both don't like it,and it has become a waste of money. We are both looking for an icloud based software that is fully integrated, including the email reminders, intake forms, and billing. Something simple that anyone can use if you go out of town or need extra help.

Pros

I like the I pad feature, I liked the patient intake forms automated in the system, I used to like the app appointment maker. You used to be able to accept a patient appointment request from your phone. It stopped working over a year ago. I like that if a patient makes an appointment on the app you can accept them in your scheduler from your ipad at home or make a new patient chart from your ipad at home. I like that the charges go straight from the doctors notes to the front desk, so there is no mistaken charges or lack thereof. I like that you can salt charges. I like that you can see the patients insurance from your notes, so you know if they have a copay or deductible and how many visits left.

Cons

This is the worse software for updates. The updates half the time don't relate to a small clinic but a clinic that mainly does PT. I have been using this software since 2004 and waiting every year for a great change. The front desk software it HORRIBLE. After 15 years you think they would have improved it. Honest to God it takes me 3-4 months to train a staff on how to use it and its just me and one staff member. I can't even have someone come in and sub because it is so difficult. You have a scheduler screen, then a check in screen then you have to go to a seperate inventory screen, All these screens are seperate, and you hope no one every accidently hits the red X and closes then screen because you have to wait 5 minutes to reboot it. Every staff person said, it is very old. The reports are useless and the most stupid thing is they use great than or lesser then when you are looking for something specific. Such as, I want all the acupuncture patients who come in or BCBS, when I search it says it is greater than, less then or equal. It's not a math problem! The doctors notes is the same way, jumping in and out of screens. I just had this issue. I was in the patients chart notes and she said two treatments ago the adjustment I made worked better. I had to close out of todays notes, hit chart note, find two days ago, read it, close out, and then go back to her note and log in, then go to plan to type it in. Sometimes jumping through screens take more time then paper.

### "From a Multidisciplinary Clinic's Perspective"

May 8, 2018

4.0

It is a solid piece of software. Stability is nice. Text message reminders service is second to none, and bulletproof. Great for marketing.

Pros

The software has robust space. We have over 15K patient files, including scans, notes, etc. and it never even hiccups. is stable. We have never had it crash on us completely. Errors are normal with any software, and we get those on a regular basis, but you just re-check for whatever it asks for, and it will come right back without an issue. Online functionality is nice. We can see/schedule patients right into our software from anywhere through a secure connection that isn't a VPN/Tunnel/etc. which is nice at a health fair. Macros are customizable. This is a catch-22 that I will cover below, but it's nice that I can just easily drop text into a note with normals. I can have it say whatever I want and create options for use. Neat. Multiple platforms are supported. We have computers that we use with this, as well as thin clients (think remote desktop environment), as well as iPads. We can deploy it nearly anywhere. We just a touchscreen monitor on a thin client to sign in with patient's phone number (unique ID we call it) and makes the office look and feel more "sleek" and upscale. Support is great. We joint Chirotouch (CT) when support was sub-par, and since they started with more support, we have really seen an improvement in this. MACRA/MIPS support is great as well, they spend their money on presentations so we know what we have to do or don't have to do. Nice to see. Finally, ease of use is nice for new staff.

Cons

Insurance/Posting side of things needs some work. If you are using insurance, it can be a pain to work with postings. My insurance coordinator could be more specific, but she really liked our older software. Additionally patient balances are never correct because we would be waiting on a posting/check. Statements have to be all checked to ensure we are not "pre-billing" before we have an insurance check post. If you are seriously insurance-heavy, I would HIGHLY recommend shadowing a clinic who has CT that does a lot of insurance, so you can see the pros and cons of the "money" or insurance side of things. It does have issues. Documentation/Notes for providers leave a bit to be desired. Our previous software had random text generation for the same information. In CT a C6 PRS will always stay the same, but our old software would change and say "C6 is found to be subluxed in a posterior position to the right" or "Today we found C6 malpositioned in a..." or "C6 was subluxated posterior" instead of the exact same. text. Additionally if you have multiple providers, it will not "SALT" notes from the provider that day, just only whoever is their "primary" provider. So if we co-treat patients, I have to manually copy notes. Just a little painful at times if we are busy. Price is high, as is yearly updates/support This is a con, but also a pro as CT isn't going anywhere. Two of our other pieces of software were purchased by CT and then discontinued. This company is solid.

### "Better than what we had, but not amazing."

March 17, 2020

4.0

We were moving from an EHR that was not working well for the clinic.

Pros

The version I have is hosted at the office. I know that EHR is going to an online platform and that is the "in thing" right now. But, with the hosted version, I own the licence and once paid off, I don't have to make that 400$ a month payment to use it.

Cons

They do not guide you on how to use the software in real life practice. Yes, they teach you what the buttons do. But knowing what the dials on an airplane mean is not the same thing as flying an airplane. They only give you access to the manual for the program if you buy their maintenance package. But, the manual is very lacking on any detailed information that makes it extremely useful. It is a very cumbersome software package to start using. Also, they do not integrate with QuickBooks. I wished that I could get the finances from this program to talk with QuickBooks.

Alternatives considered

[Practice Fusion](https://www.capterra.com/p/266915/Practice-Fusion/)

Reason for choosing ChiroTouch

Practice fusion was a decent EHR to work with. It just did not provide the Chiropractic specific options that made it easy to work with. Yes, I could have programmed it in. But, that was super time consuming. You could make it work for Chiropractic, but it is not set up for Chiropractic and that makes it hard to effectively use.

Switched from

[EHR 24/7](https://www.capterra.com/p/134091/EHR-24-7/)

It was really good to get my feet wet with EHR using Office Ally. But, it was just really hard to figure it out. I moved to due to use of the ipad during patient encounters. That is easier now than using Office Ally. I also liked that Chirotouch has all the financials in one program. I also needed a management system not just an EHR.

### "Not customizable to your practice as advertised."

March 23, 2023

3.0

It is a good software, just needs to be a smoother working flow, we work off multiple applications of because we are very busy and it's too much toggling back and forth. More access within a patient file to all screens would be great. Being able to scan into records and not leave your posting screen, seeing insurance coverage and posting charges at the same time, updating diagnosis(ours doesn't stick you have to use the DX tab), diagnosis date, modifiers, all on the posting screen would be very time saving. seeing the previous appointments, current diagnosis and last xray date when scheduling and appointment, several things could be improved. More customized reports, it's crazy that just because something works for one office and doesn't work for all that is can't be changed unless it's the consensus. It could be a great software with some changes!

Pros

posting charges, however, I think you should be able to move the order of the charge instead of deleting and starting over again.

Cons

flipping through multiple screens, could be more centralized around the patient your working on. Especally the ledger and insurance screens. Also you cannot add a modifier from the same screen you are posting charges from.

Alternatives considered

### "Best Comprehensive Software "

August 28, 2018

5.0

Pros

In any software package that is comprehensive I think that support and training are the keys to ongoing success. CT has a tremendous support staff and they are available online to help with questions and problems. In particular rep has come to the rescue of my office in times of front desk transitions by coming in at 6 am to help me to get back up to speed, to train new staff, and to help with a backlog of billing snarls such a transition can engender. She was always cheerful, detailed, patient, warm, ...and I do not think it an exaggeration to say she was instrumental to the health of my clinic at many times of transition and flux. Just knowing she is available with answers to back us up has given us a huge sense of security since the billing issues are always changing and evolving and she stays up on them. She knows the software inside and out and we consider her an essential part of our office team. The software itself is comprehensive and has more functionality than I can describe. It allows the doctor to ipad notes on the fly..pull up reports that cover anything, handle EHR issues, and is moldable to the needs of many styles of practice. It is the Cadillac of software and was the best purchase I made when setting up my office. I have never regretted not going for a stripped down cheap software package. It really runs the whole office and if you are even considering a software company to incorporate into your practice this is the one to use.

Cons

Not to sound one sided...but I really have nothing that comes to mind. It seems they have talked to many DCs and have anticipated our needs before I do.

### "Not a friendly software or company. "

April 7, 2023

2.0

Everything I was shown seemed good and it looked like it would do what I needed for my office but was very unfriendly for me or staff to learn. Once signed up and in the end it was very cumbersome to use and getting help was very difficult, always having to leave messages, never a live person without a 15 minute was or call back, if they called back. The calls we did get back were from other sales persons wanting us to buy some new add-on or other feature for the software.

Pros

Once I got the software and tried to implement it, NOTHING.

Cons

\-Could never get a live person on the phone unless you called the sales number.-Implementation and training was a disaster and never really got done.-CT Community was a joke, nothing really answered our questions so we had to call in and of course, leave a message because there were no live persons to talk to.-Way to many windows boxes kept popping up and you would get lost in all the open windows. The software would not go from screen to screen without another window opening up. It became very confusing as to where things you needed were. -The macros came very insufficient and a lot of programing was needed. -Everything was difficult to figure out and not easy to do so.

Reason for choosing ChiroTouch

It was presented well and they bought the company I then had which I loved so I thought I would try it but it didn't perform well when you actually started using the software or trying to contact the company.

### "Great for Small Businesses"

January 12, 2023

4.0

Very happy with the product overall, has great features to maintain a paperless clinic, easy to function and train staff on.

Pros

Very easy to train, customize per provider and has great reporting options to run. Has great ways to make your clinic paperless with electronic claims processing and patient payments via text options therefore receiving payments much faster and cutting down costs of postage, paper and envelopes.

Cons

The statements could be better as they are not customizable per facility, very standard and confusing for patients. Also, we have one of the largest group of users in our clinic and sometimes the software cannot handle how many people are logged into it at the same time, upwards of 20 computers up at the same time and has a tendency to glitch, freeze or shut down.

Reason for choosing ChiroTouch

### "Good program, can do better"

January 13, 2023

3.0

Pros

Good interface, Ipad usage, patient management, readily visible treatment plans.

Cons

I feel that CT can do much better. Continue to work on the colors so that they are not flat. When a change is made in the note, it should be reflected in multiple places, not just in one tab for the treatment notes. Also make sure to use patient legal name in the patient notes. Don't nickle and dime us for each feature. As is I pay CT over $1900 for tech support plus an additional $350 per month for services and then what is paid for credit card processing. I own the program. It should not cost me over $6k per year to just use the program.

### "Plan for a large ongoing expense"

April 19, 2017

3.0

Pros

The product seems to be comprehensive. It handles a lot of functions in my office - scheduling, managing patient ledgers, office flow. Inventory.

Cons

Once I purchased the software, I was bombarded with emails telling me to let them know when I went live. Little did I know that as soon as I clicked I was live, my initial training sessions ended. It was nice, as a new office to have low monthly payments to buy the software, but when the first year is over and the payments go up, the technical support goes away - as does your access to MyChirotouch so that I cannot log in and create new or update existing emails through the system, including patient visit reminders. I cannot access a user guide. I cannot even update or change the services I subscribe to or billing methods. I suppose the justification for the high cost of yearly support is so they can continue updating the system, but if you're a cash office as I am, this system is over qualified. Plus, it seems like I'm nickle and dimed to death as each additional service (online intake forms, patient reminders, backup etc) is an additional fee. I hate their intake form, the only service I like and use is the reminders, but I can't save any money subscribing to just one service because they are bundled. Having their backup service is probably useless without tech support. I did well without support for 2 years, then I moved my office to a new location. I'm having so much difficulty connecting my ipads so that I can use the apps, and because my static ip address changed, my patients can no longer use the online scheduling feature. I've called for help, and was told they are now only responsible for connecting one office computer to . If customer rep was to help me with anything beyond that he "would be dinged because the calls are monitored." Customer service at its best, right there. I will need to pay for support for them to help me with these basic functions - unless I bring in my own local IT person, but we still won't be able to update online scheduling without access to mychirotouch.com. "Well, this is how we get paid" says rep. So, obviously, this is a company who has a culture of not taking care of the customer. $ to purchase + subscribed services won't go far with this company. Plan an additional $ /year to have full availability to basic features.

### "ChiroTouch allows us to keep excellent records for each of our patients."

May 16, 2022

5.0

We definitely have solved our organizational problems by having each patient with their own personal file with regularly updated information. This software makes my life so much easier to keep track of appointments, upcoming appointments and all billing statements.

Pros

This software is very user friendly which allows for efficient use of time. Our records for each patient are always up-to-date and we can easily access them at any time.

Cons

The appointment reminder system is not reliable. When it works it's pretty good, but we found it to have glitches quite frequently.

Reason for choosing ChiroTouch

### "Chirotouch, still the best even after 10 years!"

April 3, 2023

5.0

The fact that we remain with this company for over 10 years, should say a lot. We have looked at other programs, but to date, none offer the complete package like Chiro Touch. I highly recommend. We have not chosen the cloud based option at this time. I do wish they would offer the buy out component again instead of the individual software subscriptions.

Pros

It is a very easy system to use, and offers plenty of tutorials to walk you through every aspect of the program. The support is exactly that, support. The response time and accuracy of the "fix" is great!

Cons

We have been with for over 10 years and early on, we followed their advice on support programs for our credit card processing and now, they want us to use someone else. I don't know why they stopped supporting Cash Practice, but it is very difficult to change again now that we are so well established and we like Cash Practice and do not have a good reason to leave at this time. Chiro Touch also had another company contact us for additional software of patient notifications, and there was no point, as Chiro Touch offers this already and it works great!

Reason for choosing ChiroTouch

Many other companies do not offer the two way text and this is a huge part of our business.
